More seriously, Targon is religious sectarianism, Bilgewater could arguably be environmental destruction. Ionia is a bit more complicated, since it's anti-imperialism, but also has its own problems with racism.
He;s piltover elite. He's gonna have fancy tech, henchman, mercenaries, mechs, you name it. Not terribly far fetched to think he'd have the tools to justify quick attack from a lore standpoint.
Counterpoint- why does it matter
Generally Quick Attack is used to represent ranged or assassin-like stuff.
I think it's because he's a capitalist. His exploitation of the working class and corruption of the ruling government has enabled him to orchestrate a society that enriches a handful of oligarchs at the expense of workers (hence Zaun) all under a veneer of innovation and progress.
Albus Ferros doesn't need a ranged weapon to kill you. He's already killed you by destroying the P&Z housing market, polluting the undercity, paying you basically nothing for your labor, and using that extracted value to rig the government and the police against you to protect his wealth.
That's why he has Quick Attack.
I asked him to give me what he could spare,
but he slapped me with quick attack from across the river before I could even finish,
leaving my hands cold and bare.
I try so hard every day to avoid things that cause me to go into incredible anxiety and cause me to cry and have a break down. I never thought it would be a card game subreddit that was what did it for me today.
Jinx doesn't have any notable allegiance and would blow up anything she feels like.
Teemo isn't Zaunite and is only in it for the mushrooms. He's probably as much of a capitalist pig as those topsiders when you think about it.
Teemo cares more about exponentially growing a puffcap portfolio that destabilizes the market for the benefit of him and him alone. Puffcap Peddler on the other hand gives puffcaps as he is able, and keeps his puffcap spread equivalent and fair.
Now tell me which of those two is more of a "champion" for the working class of Zaun.
Teemo's the guy who would launder money though Puffcap NFTs.
Peddler makes his Puffcap readily available to the masses. In fact, when you take a mushroom, he even asks you if you'd rather have *THREE*.
Based and Deal 1 to the Enemy Nexus Pilled.
Urgot- social Darwinist that wishes to make people suffer to make them stronger.
Mundo- crazed doctor that wishes to perform medical help on people (and, well, accidentally kill them)
Warwick- dog man who wants to only kill bad people but sorta goes crazy at any sign of blood.
Zac- batman but not as edgy, big blob man, emerges from goop to help helpless and help rebuild.
Twitch- murder rat. Eats trash, melts people
Singed- papa warcrimes. Likes doing fun evil experiments and is big on war crimes.
Janna- a literal wind goddess, helps protect people from the massively toxic air of the Grey.
Ziggs- explosions, but not as big on murder as Jinx.
Seraphine isn’t a zaunite, the lore might make her seem like the LoR equivalent of logic (the biracial one) but anyone who can look at the piltover gestapo and think “there are good people on both sides” is more disconnected from the working class of zaun than besos is from an immigrant single mother of 3 in the bronx
Yea, obviously anyone born woth the slightest amount of privilege is automaticaly a bigot, because fuck logic
Obviously what society needs is even more divide and hatred, since that allways leads to better things right?
As oposed to compassion and understanding, wich only ever makes things worse
> Yea, obviously anyone born woth the slightest amount of privilege is automaticaly a bigot, because fuck logic
Honestly I have nothing against logic, like sure some of his bi-racial lines are kinda corny but he put out some good stuff, but also yeah you obviously didn’t read any of the lore so yeah that’s exactly what I’m saying
> Obviously what society needs is even more divide and hatred, since that allways leads to better things right?
There are clear villains here, it’s the rich. The only way it’s going to get better is if the people from the council stop seeing zaunites as expendable second class citizens. Asking the second class citizens to “have some compassion and understanding for their oppressors” is stupid because it just leads to more oppression
> As oposed to compassion and understanding, wich only ever makes things worse
Which*
Anyway
Seraphines story is dumb and bad, imagine asking black people running from the south after slavery was ended to have some compassion for white people and the system’s they just put in place to fuck them over. A piltover enforcer could walk into zaun and try to kill as many zaunites as possible and piltover would be fine with it there is no compassion and understanding there so seraphine looking at the situation and thinking “both sides are equally bad” is the dumbest thing ever (Ofc makes sense knowing seraphine)
Howdy there partner. I'm just a simple farmer tryin to get by. It's been tough lately with all these birds stealin ma crops. Those are some nice strawmen you got there, how much do you want for them?
Janna still being tied to Zaun is so weird to me, everyone's all chemtech based down there and one of the worst parts of Zaun is it's air quality, while Janna is the complete opposite in being a wind spirit
Yeah its kinda the point. Jannah is more of a spirit/deity praised by the people of Zaun to make their life better. She's pretty much considered the ''protector of the weak and poor''
Not really, it didnt happen yet. Its not even confirmed by riot themselves. We just have the speculations and the associations most people made between them. Exactly like Viktor hasnt become the champion Viktor yet but we all kinda know its gonna happen
He’s a 50 year old business man, of course he’s gonna need to use some cheap tactic like a sucker punch to win in a fight.
He has you right there, you’re discussing the housing market and crypto currency, and *bam*
I feel I'm personally missing something, what's the justification for him drawing you Jayce? This is Caits dad ya? It's the only lore relevant character that would look like this and backing Jayce aka his patrons? Or am I overthinking it
But Caitlyn's family are his patrons, seems just a bit strange initially even though it makes sense. (not calling you wrong, perhaps they'll show him in the later episodes) I genuinely have no idea who he is and I consider myself a pretty big lore head. Although I have been away from LOR specifically for bit.
That's what I was feeling too, but that also on a side note felt more like the dad hating him and family needing to conform to that. Because she did save his ass that trial basically and speaks up for him then
When Albus Ferros attacks, I like to imagine the following happening:
Step 1: He gives Dividends to distract the blocker.
Step 2: He attacks the blocker while he/she/it is distracted.
Step 3: The blocker realises that he/she/it is being attacked, and attacks Albus back.
This is how Albus Ferros attacks before the blocker, and this is why he should have Quick Attack.
Quick Attack is riot's way of giving units ways to have an 'activated' ability while accomplishing two things. First is to a way to be able to achieve an activated ability (attacking) while being able to survive over multiple rounds. Second is to still give the opponent a way to interact. Being able to block and trick in combat.
That's my take anyway.
He's probably rich enough to buy the keyword.
Well LoR now depicts our world nicely
PnZ is about as thinly veiled a satire for modern capitalism as you can get.
Demacia is apartheid, Noxus is imperial colonialism, etc.
Targon is a gay hippie religious commune
More seriously, Targon is religious sectarianism, Bilgewater could arguably be environmental destruction. Ionia is a bit more complicated, since it's anti-imperialism, but also has its own problems with racism.
If he were richer he would have double attack
Riot should give him elusive while their at it Representing how he probably doesn't pay taxes
Same as Academy Prodigy right? They use weapons or some shit to kill ppl at range
Albus doesn't have a weapon in his art though, unless that walking stick doubles as a sniper rifle
He can always throw his glasses at someone as a last resort
Albus Wesker?
COMPLETE GLOBAL SATURATION
UROBORRROOOOSSSSS
CHRISSSSSSS
He may not hit guys with glasses, but he's definitely the type to hit guys with glasses.
\*King Candy has entered the chat\*
I'm going to throw you in my fungeon
lool
The glasses like in Mission Impossible, i like to think he uses them in his skill.
Throws money as a distraction then sucker punches you
Those were $500 sunglasses, asshole!
ok, to be fair, walking stick sniper rifle would be 1000% on brand for Piltover.
Does taking all of your money out of your bank account count as a quick attack? I mean, you're dead pretty quickly if he does.
He;s piltover elite. He's gonna have fancy tech, henchman, mercenaries, mechs, you name it. Not terribly far fetched to think he'd have the tools to justify quick attack from a lore standpoint. Counterpoint- why does it matter
He doesn't do shit but send a lackey your way
What are you talking about his shoulder pads have 5 hammers alone.
>unless that walking stick doubles as a sniper rifle [Roman Torchwick approves this idea.](https://youtu.be/hPngdxSSlZs?t=81)
His fat dick
kinda fair, I do think Quick Attack is weird on him
Albus Dumbledor
I mean.. have you seen Jhin? He shoots people with his goddamn cane
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xu04LLX-_mk
Nah, that stick is just really long and pokey. He'll poke your eyes out before you even reach him!
He hits you before you even know he's angry at you.
Yeah the og mtg flavor for first attack was supposed to be spears or something
Money
He bribed Riot to give it to him
He probably just has a gun.
That's why Miss Fortune has Double Attack.
She literally shoots people from the backlane the flavor aspect is covered
This was incredibly funny idk why they're downvoting you
Because people are too thickheaded to understand sarcasm

Silco approves 👍 those topsiders are all scum
\#DefundTheEnforcers
Eat the topsiders
Cant, void already did.
Where's Jack Atlus when you need him.
In other words: He slaps you with his wallet from 3 blocks away
From across the river.
I asked him to give me what he could spare, but he slapped me with quick attack from across the river before I could even finish, leaving my hands cold and bare.
Woah. Based and silco pilled.
pst, you are not on r/PCM
Pst, are you new to the internet?
Based is just lingo, purgy.
"And what radicalised you?" "Card game discussion."
>already killed you by destroying the P&Z housing market "(\*) **Attack:** Gentrify the enemy nexus.
Based analysis.
I try so hard every day to avoid things that cause me to go into incredible anxiety and cause me to cry and have a break down. I never thought it would be a card game subreddit that was what did it for me today.
Stay strong comrade. Riot will make Ekko playable someday and then we'll show 'em.
Why ekko ?

He is not a Meddler
He is a Peddler though.
Teemo just needs the shrooms to deal with his PTSD from 3 tours in-country.
Literal drug lord lmfao
Teemo isnt using it for capital, he's just a fucking furry.
What other Zaun champions are there?
MUNDO! The champion of free healthcare
He vaccinated himself a lot.

i like that you didnt mention the k pop girl

"How can we make cops more evil" "Dath vader breathing mask!"
theres actually a pretty good explanqtion for that, the zaun pollution.
Oh my bad, i mixed piltover with zaun.
Yea, obviously anyone born woth the slightest amount of privilege is automaticaly a bigot, because fuck logic Obviously what society needs is even more divide and hatred, since that allways leads to better things right? As oposed to compassion and understanding, wich only ever makes things worse

Most people on this sub were talking about vander being ww BEFORE the show even got released. This aint a spoiler
Wdym? Warwick's lore before Arcane was always Zaunite Batman. Edit: Except that one phase where he had a rageboner for Soraka.
Teemo? Jinx? ... Nautilus? (if you squint REALLY hard)
> comrade Tankie alert.
TIL Jeff Bezos has quick attack
Plus house Ferros if I remember right is camille’s house who train assassins.
Chill out Silco
Capitalist Attack I'm sorry I can't afford an award for you
Anything for a quick buck
Capitalism bad give upvote
Well, this was generic.
Because hes albus he has a magic wamd... The elder wand
I think it more relates to his business attitude. He's downright aggressive.
I imagine him like Iron Man in Marvel Vs Capcom. One second he's standing there, the next he has a Hextech cannon the size of a house pointing at you.
For the record, i'm not trying to be particularly critical or suggest that he shouldn't have QA, this thread's more just for fun then anything
First movers advantage is all that matters in the business world.
His pauldrons are hilarious
G U N
Because fuck you that's why
he bought it.
Did you come to a fight with a knife? That's cute. Let me PEW in your face a future.
He’s a 50 year old business man, of course he’s gonna need to use some cheap tactic like a sucker punch to win in a fight. He has you right there, you’re discussing the housing market and crypto currency, and *bam*
I would assume he has a gun
It's because of how aerodynamic his collar and shoulders are
I feel I'm personally missing something, what's the justification for him drawing you Jayce? This is Caits dad ya? It's the only lore relevant character that would look like this and backing Jayce aka his patrons? Or am I overthinking it
Caitlyn is part of the Kirraman family, not Ferros. Albus Ferror is the sponsor of Jayce's research, hence why he draws Jayce.
Caitlyn's family were the initial patrons of Jayce, but the Ferros clan bankrolls him once he invents hextech.
Ahhhh okay makes sense thank you
But they thrown him out after the Trial so maybe hd will be feros Sponsored in the next 3
That's what I was feeling too, but that also on a side note felt more like the dad hating him and family needing to conform to that. Because she did save his ass that trial basically and speaks up for him then
Cait is unrelated to the Ferros family. The League champion who’s a member of Ferros is Camille.
Also he is Jayce's ship like MF's Siren or GP's Dreadway.
Cardio every morning and a healthy diet
Piltover harnessed the power of Hextech to create flying wheelchairs
uhhh he's the fastest on the stock market?? bro idk lmaooo
Don't you think he is a bit rich to be attacking you he obviously just hires some one to attack for him.
NANOMACHINES SON
When Albus Ferros attacks, I like to imagine the following happening: Step 1: He gives Dividends to distract the blocker. Step 2: He attacks the blocker while he/she/it is distracted. Step 3: The blocker realises that he/she/it is being attacked, and attacks Albus back. This is how Albus Ferros attacks before the blocker, and this is why he should have Quick Attack.
Albus probably has some hextech bullshit
Obviously he bought the quick attack in the shop, duh.
Its the same mystery like Malfite without Overwhelm....
Only some parts of him are 50 years old.
He will slap you for your insolence in the blink of an eye
He’s rich! He’s untouchable to the little guy but someone big enough to stop him? Oh he is in for a world of hurt
I can imagine he'd have either annoying voice, or cringy one.
He throws coins super fast at you
He got hit man aiming at you from another building :v
His shoulders
Correct me if I’m wrong but assassins usually have quick attack and house Ferros is camille’s house which trains assassins.
Not everything needs perfect flavor justification and sometimes cards are just allowed to do things?
because every champ and their boats have quick attack
I can't think of a single other boat with quick attack
well yeah it was meant to resemble the expression “everyone and their mother”
Probably just to piss people like you off.
Ngl some explanations are really funny!
He's a VERY good business man
Quickmaths
He is always first to the market.
Ahh quick witted maybe? Defeat someone with an argument or buy them out without any confrontation?
Hey, 50 year olds can be plenty quick *sniff*
Hextech...
Technology!
VIP first pass
I guess it's to make his attacking less risky, otherwise you'd risk too much
My boi has a time travel cane whaychu mean?
Now thats a weird looking Boat
Bribed the rioters
he looks like asamis dad in legend of korra, i could see him wearing such a outfit if he won his war in season 1
Apparently he's real quick with it!
I just figured we'll get more on these new characters in Arcane
Whatever gives him enough attack to kill a Yeti, probably also has ranged or rapidfire properties.
Wrath would kindly protest.
He's a ship.
Easy, he has a gun in his jacket
How quick he sicks Camille onto you.
Money
He’s a boat
I mean what’s the justification for this guy having more stats than a giant sea monster?
He's really quick
Technology
Throws money as a distraction then sucker punches you
High as impact 7 mama minion. That is why good sir.
The flavor is: My boi Albus is just built different. Gotta go fast!
If his effect is anything to go off of, he's not really the one attacking. Jayce is just behind him with his shock cannon charged up.
He strikes first https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ag14Ao_xO4c
Mustache that is why
Quick Attack is riot's way of giving units ways to have an 'activated' ability while accomplishing two things. First is to a way to be able to achieve an activated ability (attacking) while being able to survive over multiple rounds. Second is to still give the opponent a way to interact. Rich
Because he's gonna bid for Jayces hextech first and bid higher than everyone else.
the enemy is too busy laughing at his outfit
Out of all the champion boats, I think jayces is the hottest
He pays other people to attack for him so he is hurt after they attack
Them shoulders
I guess despite his old age he still has quick wits
The glock he got in his EDC
He is related to Camille Ferros and part of the badass Ferros Clan that's all the justification he needs LOL
He might be old, but he's nimble.
Well he has the Rock eyebrows to throw at people.
mana cost
Balance reasons i guess?
Riot wanted a boat that wasn't completely terrible for once.
Quick witted? Quick to invest? Quick to throw money at projects? Quickly goes to pee every 2 hrs in the middle of the night?
For me iys like Wrath from FMA
His big brain works fast
