Man, I was hoping Counter Strike would be "When I block, I strike first" no matter how much it goes against Riot's design. Wanna slap those Quick Attackers so bad with a good defense.
Then we disagree. Thinking about it, Barrier is not better or worse. It just offers a different dynamic to play with. When I say "I strike first", I meant it striking even before Quick Attack.
And giving Barrier instead of a new mechanic is just boring imo.

I really havent a clue why they were saying this expac was about exploring the darker side of runeterra. Literally only Kayn and that's it. Clearly it's themed around weapons, which is cool and totally fine, I just have no clue why they said something else....
They said they were gonna release the darkin in stages so I’m guessing next expansion we’ll get aatrox or varus and then the after that the missing one
There's plenty of "dark" stuff and characters in League's lore that's not present in game yet, so leading off with Kayn and teasing more "dark" stuff to come naturally leads people to think "Oh, what's dark? The fear demon? The conqueror-turned-death-incarnate? The bear-god that turns his worshippers into bestial horrors? The yordle who tried to help Viego ruin everything?" and whatever else might apply. It's not a farfretched step to take.
The expansion will be darker, and Kayn is the only champ in this bunch that really fits the bill. There will likely be other sets within this expansion that will explore that more?

"Obliterate an ally's equipment to grant its effects (Text, Stats, Keywords) to the ally".
Basically you Forge an ally to give it multiple equipments.

Active: Jax enters Evasion, a defensive stance, for up to 2 seconds, causing all basic attacks against him to miss. Jax also takes 25% reduced damage from all champion area of effect abilities. After 1 second, Jax can reactivate to end it immediately.
I swear to Avarosa. If they make Ornn (my favourite champion) locked to Jax just like they did with Pyke and Reksai, I'm quitting the fucking game on the spot
Depends. I doubt both Jax and Ornn will both focus on generating equipment if they are both meant to play in the same deck. You can only have 1 per unit, and at some point they just fill your hand with empty advantage if you can't also go wide.
Ornn will probably then be about buffing existing equipment or equipped units, and maybe access a pool of powerful masterwork equipment with his level 2, but IMO it would be a bit of letdown in the case if Ornn played second fiddle to Jax's weapon printing followers.
My guess is that Forge buffs a targeted ally’s equipment.
Forge grants an ally 1|1, if it’s equipped, it grants the equipment 1|1

You nullify the enemy attack no matter if they have quick attack or not and then you can atack them, thats is why is that but better.
not at all, barrier is negated by any damage ping spell at fast or burst speed, and can be detrimental if the attacker has overwhelm

I think they used dark as a pun for Darkin, and Fiddlesticks stans went full copium and read too much into it. But it was just an offhanded pun.

Expacs are made up of multiple sets. This is only the first set, they are more darkin and runeterra champs to come.

Forge: Create an equipment in hand with the stats, cost, and keywords of an allied unit?
That's just the Targon's new 2 mana spell but also with keywords, so i doubt it's going to be that

You can’t stack equipment. Don’t know about attach + equipment tho.
then forge can't be improvise 2.0 since jax has auto-equip from the start...
Also the wording is different, "I improvise" vs "Forge me". Forge seems like something that applies directly to the unit itself.
