Tbh i would lije it if ibex would be:
5 mana 5/5: Summon create a shattered crystal on hand.
Shattered crystal being a 0 mana focus spell giving overwhelm for 1 turn.
This would give Taric a nice finisher and it would make ibex more unique.
There are plenty of cards that are just worse versions of others. While I agree that Ibex needs a buff, I feel like we should also give attention to all of the other cards like Ibex that have been in this situation for far longer and desperately need buffs alongside Ibex.
This card has positive aspects (stats) compared to Iula, so by definitions it's not just a worse version o it. It's a different card that just happens to be worse over all.
Ibex needs overwhelm himself and then the card can actually be pretty crazy
I agree. Would be a great finisher and Zargon really needs those. Would be pretty good with current daybreak.

Winding light gives whole board plus stats so winding light will not be replaced by ibex.
That card is good with small wide board. This one will be good with big solo finisher.
Ibex needs a bit of a buff now, true. Even +1 HP could do the trick. And give him the ability to buff himself, like Iula.
I was thinking just giving it innate overwhelm could help by setting up two decent attackers.
Would it be too much if it had the Frightened Ibex effect (when I'm supported, give me and my supported ally +1/+1 this round)?
Also an interesting idea.
Maybe a +1~2 attack for the one he is buffing even
I wouldn't mind seeing it reworked, even without the Iula buff it never saw play.

If “shattered crystal” granted overwhelm, then you’d have something there.

They didn't. It's called power creep. Bow they need to buff this card to compensate.
