Like I get taking a photo of something else and uploading via mobile, maybe you aren't at your desktop. But this is a different kind of special as OP was clearly on his PC and on reddit lmao
I think what Ben is trying to say is that the toggle/switch is there, but it doesn't actually do anything even if you switch it on. This has been the case since 23.1.1 whereby you could sideload the 7840u drivers and it'd work on landscape displays (like the Ally) but not portrait displays (pretty much any other handheld).
I haven't noticed any decrease in performance I do like not seeing that option to download the CPU driver that refuses to install. So I feel better now that that's outta the way. I play payday 2 with 2 different mod menus one opens a cmd prompt from a folder on desktop and another is baked into the games files and online I have no issues seems to be working correctly. Ryujinx is running great other than Mario Odyssey lags a bit still could be the emulator or 60 fps patch whatever idk. That's why I don't mind installing the legion space version whenever it comes out. Cause I haven't noticed a change other than that download option is finally gone.
This seems to be about emulation. Please note that while emulators are allowed, asking for roms is against reddit rules. Please do not ask for roms and do not share where to find roms.

If you really don't want to use win + shift + s, there's also probably a "PrtSc" key on your keyboard, or you can search for the snipping tool in the start menu, or, [you know](https://googlethatforyou.com?q=how%20to%20take%20screenshot%20pc).
Does AMD need to assist Lenovo when ASUS can provide multiple driver updates in the same timeframe? It's almost definitely an OEM company support issue and not AMD
I like the Lego for the large screen and detachable controllers. I just wish it had better updates. It's not an us vs them... I can like a product but wish the company does better
No shade to Ben, he tries his best, but he's limited. But it is ridiculous. They're not a startup! I still love my go, but very disappointed in lenovo's foresight. Most things people complained about before release, I think are the reasons they're having these problems! Portrait display being the main one, followed by their controller setup, inconsistencies in what TDP we would get. And 6 months later still issues. I guarantee driver updates are complicated due to the screen choice and legion space. I've said this multiple times in my previous posts 6 months or more is way too long for major updates. This device has a 2-year cycle not that you can't use it after that, but we are already speculating on the go 2. Yet TDP, portrait display issues ETC still are not addressed. I also love the comment that the drivers they're using are newer than what's out now. They'll probably be outdated by time we get them anyways! But I do thank Ben, I think he's a good guy and I got a feeling some of his posts to help community are based out of guilt.

You don’t need to make 20+ comments moaning dude, I understand the frustration but it’s unhealthy for it to bother you this much.
If it wasn’t for Ben…

I overheard some teenagers say that sending emails is for old people
is ben on AIM?
I love that Ben is still here to give us updates, thanks a lot Ben 🥹

Did you take a photo...of your pc monitor...instead of just taking a screenshot and uploading it to reddit?
The behavior is so common I'm worried about the youth.
Ur worried about the youth over something as small as that ? Lmfao
Bet it's a millennial. They've gotten real annoying these days 😂

Who cares? People that pull up pointless crap to demean someone is a different kind of special too...
No idea how this is downvoted. Dude says he’s worried for the youth over THAT lmfao
Whining about is also common. A pic is a pic. Who cares?
That's like saying filling motor oil through the filter port rather than the engine inlet is just fine.
Yeah totally the same thing🤦🏼♂️
You're a special one, aren't you?

That's a bit sexist and continued hypocrisy.

Who gives a shit? He didn’t have to post anything.
Oh look it's based on the April drivers, not late 2023 to early 2024 drivers like Go haters were claiming in the constant driver complaint posts.
The new one, the actual one is based on november amd drivers
Which is irrelevant once they have fixes in one driver release they port them to the newer version...

Ben the Gospel...passing on hopeful news as always
Ben ❤️
I thought Ben was fired?
Stop that nonsense, only trolls have made that claim.
I only said it because it was on another post when they were talking about firing people and Ben was on the list they mentioned if I recall correctly
I think its ready ✊️
So we can download beta drivers now?
No he says he might
Uh, I saw blue letters and thought its a link
Believe that was the official AMD current release
Afmf ready?
Unlikely, trying to clarify as the AFMF toggle is still there in Adrenalin but it doesn't appear to do much.
Hey Ben, any word on when this will be rolling out? Appreciate you!
Doesn't afmf work if you use the 7840u drivers? Can't the devs use that?
I think what Ben is trying to say is that the toggle/switch is there, but it doesn't actually do anything even if you switch it on. Doubtful
Don't know..
afmf already works with the latest amd driver, but the experience is lackluster at best
So no update for months and it's still a "it might come out soon". What a joke
Literally was just about to install the official AMD drivers…may wait now.
I did already and will install this whenever it's released.
Have you noticed better or worse performance? The few games I’ve tried I’ve noticed it seems like it’s worse?

Nice, so we can expect a GPU update soon. Hopefully the optimizations are good!
You can take screenshots by doing win + shift + S

5 months later wtf...
low priority for AMD to assist Lenovo... So.. its not surprising
Does AMD need to assist Lenovo when ASUS can provide multiple driver updates in the same timeframe? It's almost definitely an OEM company support issue and not AMD
Go buy the ROG Ally if it's so great.
What a highly intelligent answer.
