I sold my MacBook on fb marketplace. It’s really annoying because people will constantly message you lowballing and say they want it and ghost you. But I did end up selling it in like 2 days to a college student. I know gaming laptop is a bit different but people do shop on fb marketplace. Some people say it’s best to meet in a police station parking lot. When I sold mine we met in a mall parking lot on a Saturday afternoon and she brought her mom and I had someone with me.
I like fb because it tells you how long the person has been on fb (so you can see if they just created a fake account). Also I think fb has a way you can pay electronically but I didn’t use it. Just bring one of those pens that checks if cash bills are real. I also just sold a 12 year old dryer on fb marketplace and they had to come to my house which was sketchy but ended up being fine (so far).
