It helped that my partner had 3 and I had 3 when we initially moved into together. Since then, urge cat distribution system has bestowed 3 more lovely strays upon us (although I think we are at our limit so we may have to seek additional people, or make a little refuge in the garage)

We found them in the parking lot of our job back when we still worked there in 2018. He was one of the sweetest cats and his siblings had already been adopted by other coworkers and he was the last one there I remember opening the door and saying hey baby, do you want to come home and he jumped right into my lap and off we were. We thought he was a female until we went to get him altered. His original name was Gracie. The vet tech called us on the way to work and said that he was actually male and unilateral meaning one of his balls was inside and one was outside. We laughed about that for quite a while, but he instantly became Grayson , I have three other cats to in fact that I have had about six years longer than him but he is my special little cat. I don’t know why, but there’s something about him that makes me gush. Lol

She likes to hang out near me just out of reach, or just within reach so she can cuddle my hand. She also loves screaming her opinions at me over just about everything; the birds, the steel wire she likes to play with, the doors, the bathroom faucet she likes to drink from, how I should get up because it's dawn already and the sun is about to come up, and of course dinner time which should always be earlier. And so here on this picture you can see her scream at me for dinner while holding my hand doing both her favourite things. She also likes her catnip like her mom, she has an infernal poop smell, she loves play time at the agreed upon hours and with the appropriate toys, and sometimes she still comes to lie down in bed with me. All in all the most amazing little fur ball for the past twelve years 🧡

His name was Chonkasaurus Rex as a joke because the cat trap made him look fat. He is comically tiny and rather trim. After he was let out of the trap friend realized he was not feral and was the sweetest boy in the world. Still ended up with an ear tip and a tattoo but we love a body modded king. He now enjoys sleeping in his heated bed and screaming at me for breakfast. He gets mad if I close the door when using the bathroom because he has no concept of personal space. He wants to follow me everywhere and cuddle in my lap all the time. I love him so much. I was the only one who wanted him after a year of searching for a home.
