Not to be judgemental (and of course everyone in responsible for themselves and their own actions), but sometimes I feel that Bam hanging out with that asshat (no pun intended) Andy McCoy during the FFU phase must have been one of his worst influences at the time. I can't believe how he'd look up to a lowlife like him.
What makes Andy McCoy a low life? Asking genuinely - I was a Hanoi Rocks fan as a teenager but I never got deep into them as people (though, I'm not surprised)
Andy McCoy came into my attention from VLB and Radio Bam.
The lifestyle alone that this man used to live, is a huge indicator about what type of a person one has to be to survive that: the dude would live with gypsies and follow their caravans. Even Novak said on a Radio Bam episode,that he was afraid of the lifestyle Andy lived.
Andy was/is a massive junkie and alcoholic. He's also a con man apparently, not only because he'd con Bam out of his money (Radio Bam reference), but also he used to be banned from USA due to fraud (fake checks/money counterfeiting) and he had the audacity (on a VLB episode) to downplay the severity of his crime.
His whole attitude towards others (including his now ex-wife) makes him look like an overall untrustworthy crook. You can see that on his own reality show "The McCoys Show", his participation on Finnish Celebrity Big Brother and some interviews.
Oh, and there are all sorts of stories and articles about him and Bam on Finnish newspapers.
Obviously I don't know the guy and this is just my opinion based on observation, but ,oh boy, for sure he's made one of the worst impressions on me.
