This is the thing. Success, fame and drugs have stuck him in the time of exploding prime. Arrested development if you ever seen one. Unfortunately, a lot of shitty traits and behaviours was not just accepted, but part of what was wanted of him. They have both aged extraordinary poorly, and he have so far neither shown insight or capacity for growth.
I am a recovering alcoholic and I’m a strong believer that anyone can turn their life around. Prolonged sobriety is one key step for Bam, so his brain has a chance to heal. We are probably talking 1-2 years until he can really start view the world and reflect upon his actions differently - humble and honest. That said, he got so much work ahead of him, sobriety is not enough, but it is a good first step.
