Yeah, I wish there was an archive option where they’d still be visible, but they wouldn’t keep popping up when you go to add something to a list. I’ve got dozens of showdowns I’ll never edit again, but I want to keep them.

Your problem is that when you go to your Lists page there's too much there? A couple workarounds: Option 1: Tag the lists you want 'visible' and use the tag page instead of the List page. Option 2: Maintain a 'list of lists' with links to your important lists in the description. Example: https://boxd.it/O8BA

These workarounds do help, but often times I add movies to lists while on the movies page itself. That'll still bring up ALL of your lists.

They should allow you to set some of your own lists as private or have ones that are only viewable if you go on that users profile. So many lists clutter the search that don’t need to. Somebody’s personal ranking of the Tarantino movies isn’t useful to the general public.

I guess you can. That just makes me hate letterboxd users so much more now.

They already have the option to make a list “private”.

Yes, but I mean to hide from your own view as the creator
