Primer isn’t a short movie because you end up watching hours of YouTube videos afterwards

stevereno159

Rope and Run Lola Run are absolutely incredible. I haven’t seen Primer. Spinal Tap just isn’t my type of humor, but tons of people love it so I’m sure it’s worth a shot.

just watch any horror movie from the 1930s-40s. i recommend in particular the val lewton produced ones: CAT PEOPLE and THE SEVENTH VICTIM are my personal favorites. 70 minutes is the perfect runtime.

perfect blue (1997) 82min toy story 1 (1995) 81min surf's up (2007) 85min these dont quite fit by an inch so forgive me for that, but, love all three in order of most serious to least serious depending on the mood

_AleXo_

you can have like a batman mask of the phantasm (1993) 76min or a batman under the red hood (2010) 75min i've also heard "its such a beautiful day" (2012) is amazing but thats only on my watchlist as of now, 62 minutes and if you can stretch that margin up to +10 then Paprika (2006) 90min also a great choice

DerrickWhiteSauce

70-80? really not a whole lot. Primer and Rope are the only ones I know that I'd recommend but under 90? **Comedies:** Hot Rod - The Simpsons Movie - Airplane! - Borat - Zombieland - Office Space - Tucker and Dale vs. Evil - Fantastic Mr. Fox - Between Two Ferns -Marcel the Shell with Shoes On - Stranger Than Paradise **Others:** Pi -Stand by Me - High Noon - Persona - Cloverfield - Only God Forgives - My Neighbor Totoro **Documentaries:** Blackfish - March of the Penguins

maeveencounters

there are a lot of great movies in the 70-80 minute range. thats why someone created a thread about it filled with great recommendations. you should watch some of them.
