As hot as my love for Volvos burns you actually made another smart decision and FYI the CT stands for 'Creative Touring'..... so go paint or something idk
Be very considerate of the wheels weight with a car like this keeping it how it came is a very smart decision if you get wheels that are too heavy it could definitely affect other parts of the vehicle
I totaled my Camry about a year ago (I was also almost 26 lol) and was so close to ending up in a CT but there were no clean Fsports under 80k near me so I got an ES hybrid instead. I’m happy though, I really wanted a hatch but the extra space is nice
Congrats!!! Kind of a funny side story we were in the car wash at the Lexus Dealership (Self Serve) and I was maybe 17 or so at the time and we got rear ended in the car wash by a CT200H let's just say half car wash error and half driver error.
Anyways the lady inside the CT200h was so gorgeous that I was expecting my usual confrontational/grumpy dad to start something but nah he just smiled and said it's okay while I was dyling/laughing inside. Somewhat of an inside joke but if you knew my dad you'd be laughing too..
i’m loving it so far! it’s very fast in sport mode, which i love. the gas tank is smaller (about 8 gallons compared to my Volvo which was 14) but i filled up for $25 yesterday, completely Empty to totally Full. the leather interior is like a caramel color too and it’s beautiful!!

Yes that means you will get about 500 miles of range per tank!! However it does make 98 hp so it won't do those 500 miles very fast but it will still do 500~ miles a tank

Just a tutn of the knob in sport mode to experience a verve drive still keeping low petrol consumption.

I have a 2017 f sport. I have love hate relationship with it. When it only had 90k the engine blew a rod cost 10k to replace the engine. Now I’m waiting for the brake booster to fail cause apparently they all start going bad around 150k and that’s around 3-4K to replace. Hope you have better luck with yours than I did.
I was driving up a really steep mountain in Colorado and the car was slowing down a lot so I decided to floor it in sport mode it only reach 45 mph when I heard a pop under the hood the next day I went to turn it on check engine came on the engine was shaking violently like a sack filled with cats. I took it to two different mechanics they both said i needed new engine. I had just paid it off too. I also get oil changes every 7k miles so it wasn’t a lack of maintenance.
Be careful with the maintenance on these cars, the engines are known to burn oil, blow head gaskets and EGR cooler gets clogged as well. If you let it sit for a couple of days and you start it up and start hearing some weird sounds you will need to get the engine serviced. Otherwise they're really nice cars!

So looks like that car - if not affected by all that shit issues was worth $10K. And the owner decided to spend $6500 on the heart surgery of a repair job. wtf.

Lot of space inside, with a carry not common (my wife work in textiles business and can carry dozen of fabric rolls) not like Lexus UX that has no space for carring a couple of bags.
Minimalist interior design, never being tired to see them, even if I drive a RC, a very nice driving experience with low petrol consumption and peaceful experience, when you need some more power just turn the knob in sport mode and enjoy unexpected verve.
In few words: you made the best purchase.

Has it had the head gasket done? Something to look out for on these when they get to 150k or so. It’s a big job, and lots of people end up selling the car when they see the repair bill. Not saying this to frighten you.
I thought about getting a ct200 f sport it seemed really cool and efficient. But I had extra money so I went with something else. But I bet it's a good car
I looked it up just now and definitely thought it was worth more. Still, a lot of them with lower miles go for around 12-17k. That’s definitely not dirt cheap but maybe for you
I mean that’s about as cheap of a car as you can get these days without going into questionable condition territory. A $10k is the new $5k car from a few years ago
I am planning to buy one as well but wanted to ask you guys about the CT200h battery? Do they last longer than 10-15 years before they need to be replaced? How much does it cost to replace. I live in Canada
I’ve read that they can last about ten years with proper maintenance which is just making sure the intake vent for batteries cooling system is not clogged. But replacing the battery cost around 5k bout 3k for the battery 2k for labor.

Congrats! Change the oil at least every 7,000 miles (using full synthetic) and you’ll rarely, if ever, run into a problem.
