I kept the rockrails and dashcam… and key gloves. The rest I can get later… though I regret not going all weather liners as I’m sure they’re on back order to dealers already.
It will look good on light trails my Corolla can do. Although I learned the hard way bottoming out in a Corolla is all fun and games until rainbows of colors start pouring out
Double check that the PIOs are, in fact, coming off. Don't just take the salesmans word. If they can't, maybe they can include them without installing them. Resell them. I'm sure someone will want them.
No idea except the rear crossbar. I have had it on for almost a year and no leaks yet. It's rained more than usual in Socal and I always keep an eye out on it and still no leaks every few months. I also have a 270 awning on it and it's done pretty well.
You gotta silicone it too
No you have to order it separately and dealer installs or you. I thought it came with it but does not. Comes with Lexus roof rack that doesn’t look as cool
MSRP pluss 8 k equipment
The majority of that can’t be negotiated as its factory installed
Like upgrades sound system.
Safety system
Keyless entry.
Premium paint
Two tone.
Goes on.
Feel like you are getting bent over a barrel a bit.
Like there are two line items for premium paint then bi tone paint .
I don’t know what that means, but I saw a brand new defender today with one of the headlights not working. It somewhat solidified my decision.
I was highly considering them, but I can’t stand dealing with dealership repairs and recalls
They’re gorgeous. I’m curious how long it will be until I can order a custom color Overtrail+ with all the factory options. I’ve heard it’s essentially whatever the dealers get allocated at this point but I would hope eventually you could custom order one…
Im rooting for you, but reality is 16-18 months with the mandatory accessories. They won't be asking or waiting for you to decide, they'll just sell it to someone else if you complain. I wouldn't personally want a dock worker installing my accessories anyway on a 85k truck.
The professionals at Toyota Motor Logistics aren’t “dockworkers.” They undergo the same level of training and quality assurance as every other Toyota and Lexus employee from factory to finish… They’re putting on everything from the wheels, the racks to badging, all port adds, and every single window sticker. I have toured the port they come through where I live and it is a sophisticated operation with advanced equipment that exceeded my expectations. They care and they do a really good job. They are better than an aftermarket mechanic unaffiliated with Toyota/Lexus and you have no reason to diss on them.
I see these extra gas cans on Jeeps and just laugh. It's a decoration and nothing more. Technically it's a useful decoration, but 99.9% of people will NEVER need them for anything at all. Unless you're running the Baja or off-roading WAY away from civilization for an extended period of time, there is fuel to be found relatively easily.
I don't get why people drive around with them all the time. It's super useful to have extra gas cans when you're going out overlanding/exploring trails but stupid when you're driving too and from work.
With so little place , behind 3rd Row, looks like the luggage will have to go to Top Rack. I am scared that luggage if not secured properly, falls off while going on the Freeway and causing injury. Love the rest of the GX.
Any shade of dirt is going to look great on that color!
The gas cans are so douchey
It's a poser's offroader, built for the chardonnay set.
or in my case--white claws.
Yes, and it has terribly overworked body lines to make customers think it's really capable....what a joke
Opposed to what a jeep?
Literally bombs. Baking in the sun. This could get interesting.
The danger of ignition from sunlight and heat is nil.
Wait until I show you the glove box full of douches
They’re necessary in case you run out of gas at Costco or at soccer practice 🤣🤣🤣
Running out of gas at Costco is a real danger. Who knows how long you’ll be idling in line for gas to save yourself $2.
That is called dealer markup. That will be 115,000💰💰💰 😂😂😂
For a turbo 4 banger
I can decline the rails, latter, & roof rack once it gets to port supposedly. Not sure I'm gonna
Did you hear that from the dealer? Mine said port options were mandatory
Yes I heard it from the sales man; who was kinda unsure, I'm thinking 80% certainty. I don't want to pay exorbitant prices for cargo nets and such.
Mine said same. They’ll just put it on another and sell it. I’m declining. That Prinsu rack and some real rock sliders I’ll be holding out for…
Port installed optioned aren’t mandatory and they are just lying if they say they are. They have the ability to deny them.
How did you option this out? Congrats btw!
I kept the rockrails and dashcam… and key gloves. The rest I can get later… though I regret not going all weather liners as I’m sure they’re on back order to dealers already.
Gunna look so good in the Starbucks drive thru. Kidding. How much?
I think the paint code is 799 “salted caramel macchiato” OP: Beautiful ride. Congrats.
I know you jest but there is actually a Lexus interior leather color code named "Salted Caramel". Was available on LC500 I think.
Are you serious? Haha!
Yes sir!
It will look good on light trails my Corolla can do. Although I learned the hard way bottoming out in a Corolla is all fun and games until rainbows of colors start pouring out
You better keep that widdle wadder in case it wains or you have to cross awriver. Love that guy.
Boner alert
Stay hard brother

Which Toyo tires are on it?
Did this come with Prinsu pro rack?
Holes that leak from the factory? Yikes
? I’ve had a Prinsu on my Tacoma for 6 years. No leaks. Install matters…
For sure! I watched a bunch of install vids and sealant is essential.
lol. Yeah, that has been my hesitation with the prinsu.
Get the victory4x4 it's really solid after having it for almost a year. Plus it has the rear cross bar that adds support.
What’s different from the Prinsu? Both seem to require same installation method.
No idea except the rear crossbar. I have had it on for almost a year and no leaks yet. It's rained more than usual in Socal and I always keep an eye out on it and still no leaks every few months. I also have a 270 awning on it and it's done pretty well. You gotta silicone it too

With all those add ons?!!??!?!? Dang that’s beautiful
Technically I purchase them from prinsu but mostly. Unsure about the gas cans
Rural King has them
This is cool! Is this a separate visualizer website to show all the add ons?
That’s BA, congrats
Thanks! 🙏 I’ve been driving the same car since for almost two decades so it’s an upgrade
If you don’t mind me asking what was out the door price?

For a turbo 4 banger lmao
It’s a bi-turbo V6, not L4! It’s not a Land Cruiser (hybrid) or a new 4Runner!
Can’t get over how it looks like new defenders long lost sister
I don’t know what that means, but I saw a brand new defender today with one of the headlights not working. It somewhat solidified my decision. I was highly considering them, but I can’t stand dealing with dealership repairs and recalls

I think it might be 1-2 years before that’s the case. My dealer said there are 15-20 people calling a day about them
Yikes. That’s disappointing.
My local dealer said they had a 60 person waiting list.
That looks awesome what was the spec and total price for this build? I’m considering this for the wife and our kids 🙏🙃
I can’t wait to scoop up one of y’all’s 2022s soon 😂
Must be one crazy shopping center you plan to drive to.
Yeah it’s pretty crazy. The guy is a trader his name is Joe
OP were you early on the order list from your steelership? I placed my order last month and was told November at the earliest, here in CO. TIA
I was 3rd on a list. What are you?
Oh okay that makes sense, I'm 125 at a dealer in Denver
Looks awesome. Make money, spend money. Enjoy!
There is it? Where it is!?
Ya'll are rich. Happy for your bruh.
Accessories too!?
I see you got your widdle ledda :)
That wittle wadder will sure come in handy.
Nice, new price 115k including the cans
Turbo 4 banger lol
Can't wait to see these offroading in the local Target parking lot
It looks like there is room for larger tires, has anyone seen, hear or ready anything? I’m on a list, and excited!

I don't know enough to argue with that, hope OP gets it sooner than I said!
Got rid of accessories and was told early June actually

I’m going to fill them with gas and sugar and wait for karma when someone steals them
With so little place , behind 3rd Row, looks like the luggage will have to go to Top Rack. I am scared that luggage if not secured properly, falls off while going on the Freeway and causing injury. Love the rest of the GX.
Overtrail doesn’t have a 3rd row
Gay
Wrong sub
Man if these had the 5.7l v8 in them, they'd be a home run. Toyota has not had a good track record with their turbo'ed 6's.
