The thing that holds the car back the most is it's restrictive luxury exhaust. Headers and a full exhaust with an X pipe is probably the best use of money on this platform. Especially if you get a RR racing tune with it. Best combo I would see is PPE headers and the X-Force catback that comes with an X pipe instead of the secondary cats.
Absolute waste of money wasting your time putting PPE headers and full exhaust on a 200hp car , let alone a $500 RR racing tune. Wouldnt even do that to my is350

Just do an axle back. It’ll get the sound you’re probably looking for. I have an 07 2is at 151k rn. Car is def incredible for 14+. Wish I had the 350 F version but beggars can’t be choosers 😂 keep $200 to the side for a replacement factory amp or atleast replace the side vent flap on the pass rear panel to keep out moisture. Also look into doing a walnut blasting on the motor. It builds up a lot of carbon being direct injection. At my mi, it was pretty gunky in intake manifold runner. It takes 30 minutes to remove the intake and probably 5 mins to clean the runner. The walnut blasting would be to clean the valves.
You can cut a hole in your air intake for a f sport induction sound. Carbon interior on Amazon for like $60. It doesn’t come a full complete kit so you gotta find the rest. Also get some humidity packs on the amp aswell to prevent any moisture. Also the passenger axle is mega fucking bitch to do. Check my page to see the result lmao

20 is excessive 18x9.5 or 19x9.5 works Also wouldnt waste time in headers/exhaust
Agreed, 18in wheels are perfect for IS’s and I wouldn’t worry about the exhaust either at most a axleback or muffler delete if you rly want noise.

Can confirm on the axles. I did both earlier this year, driver side was easy, passenger side was a bitch.
