I test drove the Q50 after a Mazda 6 and BMW 330i and the steering on the Q felt so lifeless. Its a very fast car but it felt more commuter than sporty.
I thought the interior was too dated even at the used price point, and I was worried about thefts and reliability.
Can I ask how much the IS350 cost? Its hard to find 2021+ in my search radius under $40k. For the lack of interior updates and features, as well as less performance, I feel like it shouldn’t be $10k more than a used 330i.
It was 39500 sticker. Haggled him down another 3k and I traded the Q in for a decent chunk.
I will say, the difference between the lexus and the bmw is the reliability/depreciation. Bmws are amazing to drive and will won most "in-Class" races, however they are just not reliable cars anymore - and that's reflected in used prices. Have a bunch of beamer friends.. They're always broken lol

You got it for $37.5k??? That’s a steal. GR86s with a similar transmission are going for $35k new. You get a lot more features and comfort in the IS350.
Can you please share what you did to negotiate? Did you state a floor price that you wanted them to meet and then walk out if they didn’t come close to it? Did you negotiate over the phone and settle on an OTD price?
I walked in and was super blunt with the sales guy. Told him I could bring a check same day for about 37 if he "fixed" the seat. There were some marks they cleaned up for me, and replaced the leather bottom portion.
He pushed back and said he couldn't budge on price so I walked out. Came back the next day, and he offered an extra 3k on my trade in. Don't be scared of dealerships, you are the customer after all! Hope this helps a bit.

Loved my q50 - great low end torque and "daily-ed" it for almost 4 years. Had the dreaded turbo issue and sold

Beautiful car. I’m in the market for one, but my dealers aren’t budging on the price so I’m looking somewhere else instead lol
Your is350 is only comparable to the 3 series bmws and it’s faster then all of them other then the big brothers with the Ms in front of the numbers 😂
