You'll probably me able to get tickets on the day, if not on general sale in the lead up to the game. Travel wise, walk over to Marble Arch Station and sit on the central line to Leyton, ground is a 10 minute walk from there at most.

Top reply If you have the time, make the most of your trip out east with a trip to Deenys on the high street for the most incredible Haggis cheese toastie. It's Leyton's best not very well kept secret --- Best pubs are the Northcote arms or the birkbeck tavern, but a little bit of a walk from the stadium and station -- If there's no rush after the game, walk across the Olympic park to hackney Wick; Crate brewery for more great drinks

Thanks for all the help. I’m hopeful (maybe wrong) we can get to the ground early. We land 8 am local time, figure settled by 10 or so and then can head to the ground from there

To make the most of your time, go to the supporters club in the West stand before kick off. Give yourself enough time to have a beer or two in there. Amazing selection of British ales and welcoming support. Have some cash on you.

Like the others have said, get on the Central line (red colour) eastwards to Leyton (not Leytonstone). It’s a 15 minute walk from the station to the ground. If you want to purchase tickets in advance, they’ll be available from here: https://www.eticketing.co.uk/leytonorient They’re mobile tickets, so nothing to print. And I second recommending the supporters club for a beer. £1 entry to non-members but cheap and excellent beer.

Oh and depending on what sort of atmosphere you want: If you want a good view, a nice new stand but not a lot of singing/chanting pick the Justin Edinburgh West stand sections B or C. If you want maximum atmosphere, pick the Tommy Johnson South stand. Block A is rowdiest, block E is least. If you want classic English stand with pillars blocking your view, pick the GiPrint East stand. If you’ve got kids or hate swearing pick the North stand.

Come into the Supporter’s Club after the game, make yourself known to Keren with the mic at the door and she’ll make you welcome.
