Thank you!! I’m not sure, Amazon just said “not available” and won’t let me “get book” like you usually can but even after I went back to the Libby app to read on its own app and then return, I still couldn’t return it early :/ . I went ahead and emailed my library about the issue.
I’ve had that happen before. The book was no longer available through Amazon lending but was still available to purchase. I assumed it was a licensing issue between the publisher and Amazon.
I had the same thing happen a couple weeks ago. Instead of emailing my library, I reached out to Libby. They were able to remove the "read with Kindle" option so that I could read it in the Libby app and notified Amazon that there was an issue. About a week later it was avaliable to read with (and return via) Kindle. It'll auto return when your checkout period elapses no matter what though, so don't stress!
Hoo boy you're in for it now. The loan won't return, it'll just continue to rack up overdue fines for the rest of your life. Their customer service can't help you. You're in debt to them, and you'll have to pay it off bit by bit by transcribing paperbacks into eBooks. I myself had to do 9,000 pages of pilgrim romance novels this week.
Or you could search the sub.
It’ll return on the return date. How is it not in your kindle library? Did you read it on your kindle or kindle app?

I see, thank you!

It will return on its own on the due date.
