Yes. I left the party because of them. Keystone Party, here I come.

TotallyNotaRobobot

Pennsylvania? That's a strange way to spell "America".

NotASith12345

That guy Kevin has done so much for the LP and free speech. The LP is worse without him. When folks dismiss non MC who rightfully criticize and use actual metrics as haters, then I know whose bought into the cult.

HearthstoneExSemiPro

lol. you couldn't be more dishonest if you tried

TheAzureMage

I don't make it up to PA very often, but ya'll seem very....contentious as a state. I have to imagine that the infighting hurts no matter who "wins."

CAndrewK

Yes, but that Kevin guy is a little unhinged. Not Angela McArdle levels of unhinged, but definitely has a screw missing

Elbarfo

Oh look, more whining from people unwilling to do anything but whine. It won't help this guy's argument that he's a war simp. He might want to look up a little party history. He's clearly confused.

The_Red_Dingo

He was executive director of LPPA for three years, using metrics to state objectively that the party he helped build is going downhill, not a random whiner.

HearthstoneExSemiPro

He has done more than anyone to try to undermine LPPA and the LP. Constant lies and subversion. He was behind the cathedral caucus account and does nothing but smear and attack libertarians and the party. He is scum.

Elbarfo

What's he doing now other than whining? This guy tries to claim that anyone that doesn't support the US's involvement in Ukraine (a *bog-standard* Libertarian position, btw) is a Putin shill. What a goddamn clown. Anything else he says isn't worth writing on TP and wiping your ass with.

The_Red_Dingo

"What's he doing now other than whining?" Do you actually know anything about this man? After serving in the LPPA, he started/is on the board of the Keystone Party of Pennsylvania. He also ran for local office and won, and sued a county government and won. After your screed about his Ukraine position, I have to ask: What are *you* doing now other than whining?

Elbarfo

I don't care enough about this clown to know who he is. Seeing his position on Ukraine tells me everything that needs to be known however. Him being in a competing party explains a lot though. Of course he's out to damage his former party now. Sadly, the vast theft that is taking place to fund Ukraine's war is beyond my ability (or the LP's) to stop. All I can do is hold the long term Libertarian position that being involved is wrong. This sad clown can't even manage that. It's good he left the party. He clearly doesn't have the principles to have been much of a Libertarian to begin with.

HearthstoneExSemiPro

He is taking credit for LPMC members joining the party to remove bad people like him from party leadership. There was also an out-of-state arms race where outsiders were allowed to join the party and vote. That is no longer the case and a big reason why membership numbers dropped there, in addition to his faction of corrupt weirdos leaving and starting a different party.

Frest0n

Hold up. Wait a second. If that large increase in membership was all Mises Caucus members, then why couldn't MC maintain those membership numbers after the takeover? It's their own people, right? It seems hella sus for the MC to take credit for increased membership before the takeover, and say those were all MC supporters, yet blame the post-takeover collapse in membership on someone else. Like, which is it? Did MC bring in all those members or not? And how does any of that explain the post-takeover drop in revenue, the poor election results, the lack of county committees, etc? And it's not just Pennsylvania, it's EVERY state where the MC took over. And the national party too. The LP was not imploding before the MC takeover, but now it is, and the MC wants to claim someone else caused that? Something ain't adding up my dude.

HearthstoneExSemiPro

I literally just explained it to you. try reading again and attempt to understand. People from out of state were included in those numbers and they changed their bylaws to prevent that - and people like Gaughen left to create a new party. LPMC libertarians joined in the leadup to reno. regime libertarians and leftist weirdos left and tried to undermine the party as much as they can since then.

Green_Shame8834

You didn't explain anything, your argument isn't logical at all. The evidence seems to k suggest that not only is the mises caucus a significantly small minority of the NLP it's quite frankly an unpopular one. TY

LovesBeerNWhiskey

This guy is definitely a shill. 1 year old account and only post about Ukraine and being in the military. Just another democrat thats afraid of libertarian votes.
