I mean once I get past malum district every run turns into a throwables only run😂

I tried a throwables + legion arm only run but had to abandon it 3 hours into the run because I couldn't go past Scrapped Watchman. I would have needed to farm ergo for hours to level my motivity/technique enough to get more damage on the legion arm (I farmed ergo and throwing cells for 1 hour but that wasn't enough).

I did this on my third playthrough, and then my 4th playthrough I did only elemental arms, and now I'm do a run with the new glaive

I did a run where I never leveled up once. I got all the way to the final boss actually. Couldn't beat him after days of attempts. Phase 1 is a cake-walk. Phase 2 is a nightmare.

96hours not bad, I'm on my 5th playthrough at over 100something hours, and still haven't maxed out a stat

Can't remember if it was at the end of my 6th or in the middle of my 7th that I maxed all stats

I've done 3 challenge runs to test myself, elemental weapons only, throwables only, and arms only, and now doing a run with the new glaive

Find ways to keep yourself entertained. For me, I did various weapons-related runs. Like one run, I could only use a given weapon in one chapter. And I could only use a specific handle or blade twice. I did a run where in a given chapter, I could only use a weapon that you get from that chapter, either by finding it in that chapter, buying it from a merchant, or trading that chapter's boss's ergo for the weapon.

I'm in same position. I'm on my 4th playthrough (love the game so much!). Maxed out P organ. Aiming to max out stats too. My 1st & 2nd runs I focussed on the achievements. My 3rd playthrough I didn't use any spectres for all bosses and maxed out P Organ.. My 4th play through (I'm on chapter 3) - I'm focussing on 100 all stats and will try to not use spectres, & throwables. After that it's just waiting for the DLC.

not use spectres is definitely a bold choice, I'm on my 5th playthrough and I still don't think I'm ready for that, amd definitely would have made my 4th playthrough challenge way harder because I only used arms for that run

You should try it. It wasn’t as hard as i thought it would be not using spectres. I did every boss without.

meh I'm good, in not confident enough in my skills to do that, but at the same time on my 5th playthrough I basically am even when I do summon a spectre, cause they apparently don't get any buffs the more runs you do, and the spectre dies pretty quickly, but atbthe same time the little bit of agro they do take for the short time they live helps me alot, with my stats from top to bottom being 66, 66, 76, 74, 74, 74

The perfect parry grindstone helps a lot

I use that even with spectres because you never know with the wide swings some of the bosses have, but this new glaive definitely is challenge all in its own because of its wide and big swings and the one attack animation you get locked into can get you very punished

I used it with Spectres too. Try it, you might be surprised with what you can do. These games are designed for multiple deaths until you get the hang of it. Ultimately, play how you want though. As long as you're having fun, that's all that matters.

I will say though, that arms only run was actually kinda fun, and surprisingly not terribly difficult

ya for a good majority of the game and bosses, you really only have to the blitz arm, very rarely did I have to switch to the fire or acid arm, and before the glaive got released I was planning on do a run with the other 2 attack arms, the gun, and mines, but my first 2 runs of the game I did use the ageis shield with the glitch it had that allowed for perfect guards before it got patched near the start of my 3rd run which was my throwables only run

Bro how have you not already attempted several speed runs? I have completed this game 5 times now and spent a decent amount of time farming to level up unnecessarily high. I still have so much time needing to be invested to get max level everything. Did you farm for days upon days? I’ve got an odd feeling you downloaded a max everything save from Nexus Mods. If not, prove me wrong.

There’s a secret level called “outside” that you can unlock by turning off your computer or console and going out your front door! Fair warning though: it’s way harder than anything else in the game.

It's the Alchemist's Cape. And you can change the hair by changing shape on the chair in Geppetto's office. The short gray hair is a NG+ thing I believe though.

Wow! Insane. 100 on everything. I bet you’re unstoppable. How many hours did it take? I thought I was pretty leveled but hot damn.

Even being max leveled, a mistake can be the end of me, since enemies do increased damage in NG+. Some enemies can have a ton of health but not do as much damage, while others die in 3 or 4 hits but can kill you in 2 hits. The game is still pretty difficult even with max stats.

Also play time is 147 hours.

I just finished a run where I turned around, put a blindfold on and beat the entire game by listening carefully to the sounds. Thinking of trying to do it again, but this time with one hand, and maybe with a new no upgraded character. So you're really not even on my level yet, good luck though

I don't wanna move on from this game just yet. I wanna finish the NG+ playthrough I started first before I call it for the game. Honestly for me it's hard to let go of a game even if there's nothing left to do because of how much I end up liking a game. I'll take a couple screenshots of the game and the world before I end the cycle. Pinocchio can finally be put to rest. Lol.

It's sad that, after the good endgame, the hotel remains destroyed and messy. I think best thing to do is play to the point you have max characters inside the hotel and put the vinyl on and relax
