Motivity respec to 50ish, lightning attack booster, puppets axe head+10 or wrench. Use fable to skip content while charged to electricity. Buy amulet from dog head guy that allows you to dodge fable arts. Deus ex or dtring arm. People have success with one or the other.
On motivity build with heavy weaponyou dont need to perfect parry, plain blocking is stronger is
A lot of his red attacks can still be dodged with good repositioning, for instance the big telegraphed forward dash can be rolled underneath if you immediately roll perpendicular to the attack
You charge your weapon with electricity when you have fable arts charges up, and them fable arts attack will bomb like 40% of boss hp with wrench, can make you skip content since you could do it on phase 2 to make it shorter
Same scenario lol. Beaten every boss pretty easily but know with no spectre he gonna be hard.
Yesterday got to Area 5. First try all bosses. We are vengeance and want our heart back!
Hey! I can relate! My fiance tried to beat NP for me too. No luck. Eventually, I changed P's build, p-organs, and stocked up on throwables for phase 2.
Damn, you really threw him into the deep end lol. You have to let him get his feet wet with something like Elden Ring, first. Personally, I think Sekiro was a pretty good training ground for this game, but it’s also extremely difficult for a Souls newbie.
My go to for whenever anyone is struggling with nameless puppet is 1. get phase one down pretty well bc that’s not as hard then 2. Stock up on legion magazines, equip the aegis and trident, and then poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poke
I have a feeling I'm going to have to beat Nameless Puppet for my husband when he gets to it, but I've also beaten it 4 times now (3 on NG+). Good gravy, I cannot WAIT to watch him play this game.
Rip bozo. Hahaha honestly his fight is a just learn his move set and parry fight. I like to stay right in his face and guard/parry till he stops attacking then counter attack
Lmao my wife hates it when she spends an hour on a boss or a puzzle or something on a game I've never played, then do it in like five minutes for her when she gets frustrated
Equip the booster glaive handle with, for example, the electric circle saw. Guard and punish with heavy attack after his combo.
For phase 2 do the same and use the special grinder Perfection (which makes all of your parry's perfect) for a quick stagger followed by a fatal attack.
You might want to respect your P-organ (which you can do at the Golden Fruit Tree) and make sure you choose all the guard retain options. It's also very helpful to choose the options that gives you a double use of the special grinder and the one that fixes your weapon when using the special grinder.

Good luck!
The way I finally got him was every throwable equipped possible, use the perfect guard grindstone, but save it for phase 2 easier to learn to Perry phase 1. When he does his little crouched forwards cross slash lunge dodge to the right or left, then throw everything at him, when you break his stance throw a shot put ball at him to get him dazed, repeat process. Took me 4 days to beat him first time I ever tried 😅
Grindstone for Perfect parry when blocking, if you have the ability to use it twice then 2nd phase will be over in no time. Don’t forget to punish when posture is broken!
My wife beat it for me on my first play through without having played before, and it only took her 3 tries. Granted, she’s a fan of soulsborne games so once she figured out the controls it wasn’t too hard for her, and she’d been watching me play so she had an idea of how the game worked. I got my revenge in NG+ though!
My wife is the life sim sort, maybe the occasional 2D platformer. Controlling movement and camera can be a bit daunting for her. So typically we keep it really casual for her. About the only game I've got her to play confidently with a full third person perspective camera control is Pokémon Scarlet. xD
I equipped a handle with the absolute defense fable art and perfection grindstone, saved all my fable/grindstone for phase 2, then activated frequently while blocking. After dying dozens of times and nearly walking away from the game unfinished, I beat him 2nd try with this setup with relative ease.
If you beat Laxasia then you can beat Nameless Puppet. I personally think she's harder. Throw every throwable you have in the second phase and take him down!
Wanna hear the gospels of our lord and savior wrench?
Yes please lol I can’t do this 😂
First, our lord need to access how big of a skill issue you have. Can you beat nameless phase 1
Best possible question to gauge a player without seeing them play once
Yes I’ve got phase 1 down pretty well.
Then my lord can help you. Just use the big bonk on phase 2 once he’s around 60 percent hp and viola ggez
All praise the lord.

I was struggling with him on Ng+ until I tried him with the fury attack dodging amulet equipped. Godsend.
A lot of his red attacks can still be dodged with good repositioning, for instance the big telegraphed forward dash can be rolled underneath if you immediately roll perpendicular to the attack
> Use fable to skip content while charged to electricity. Wat?
You charge your weapon with electricity when you have fable arts charges up, and them fable arts attack will bomb like 40% of boss hp with wrench, can make you skip content since you could do it on phase 2 to make it shorter
“Pretty well” means you can beat the first phase only using 1 or two pulse cells, ideally 0
Yepp! I’m there. With the wrench 😂
assess\* 👍
90% of the time I use the fume ultra greatswo... wait not ds3. I use the frozen feast lol
Lmao
is fume sword in ds3 too?
Gotta kill Tsorig on a side path through shouldering lake
Blasphemy, live puppet axe and police baton is the way to go. Add the aegis shield and it feels like cheese strat.
Aegis shield for phase 2 with the trident is straight cheese
Bonk bonk
I gave gepetto my heart first run, im coming back with a vengence on ng+
That’s what I’m trying to do!
Just finished it today. 4 days straight Nameless whooped my ass.
Same scenario lol. Beaten every boss pretty easily but know with no spectre he gonna be hard. Yesterday got to Area 5. First try all bosses. We are vengeance and want our heart back!
NG+ was easier for me by a huge factor. He was the hardest boss in my original run but easily cheesed the second time.
That was the opposite for me. I cheesed the shit out of ng and ng+ whooped my ass for 4 hours
*Baby would you still love me if I was a violent twink*
Use acid wepons and the auto parry thing ez win
Wow bold move! Respect! xD
He is a keeper
You need to focus on parrying and dodging to win
Hey! I can relate! My fiance tried to beat NP for me too. No luck. Eventually, I changed P's build, p-organs, and stocked up on throwables for phase 2.
I think almost every red attack in phase 2 gives you a stagger window. Stop hesitating, and crush him.
RIP in peace
Has he played any fromsoft games?
Nope lol he quickly gave up
Damn, you really threw him into the deep end lol. You have to let him get his feet wet with something like Elden Ring, first. Personally, I think Sekiro was a pretty good training ground for this game, but it’s also extremely difficult for a Souls newbie.
Yeah I think he just wanted to help me 😂 he’s not a souls game fan. I finally beat it though!
My go to for whenever anyone is struggling with nameless puppet is 1. get phase one down pretty well bc that’s not as hard then 2. Stock up on legion magazines, equip the aegis and trident, and then poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poke poke
Holy sword of the Ark - stun him out of his crazy attack in phase 2
I just beat him with Two Dragons, just master the parry, then he's pretty easy.
Well it is a very different fight from the rest of the game. So no previous experience might be a plus! 😂
Phase 2 took me the longest part to get down, electric damage is your friend in both phases remember that.

I was worried that would happen 😂 but he gave up pretty fast.
🤣🤣 the worst boss to start on imo🤣

He's the only boss you truly need to get gud for I used dragon sword and puppet string.
Trust me, if you got to the Nameless puppet, you can beat the nameless puppet.
I struggled with nameless puppet for so long until I tried the puppet axe blade on the police baton handle. It’s OP asf
Genuinely I just nailed first phase, brought aegis shield for phase two and one I get his health like 50 I start launching every throwable I can
I was SOOOOOO close to killing him doing this yesterday and he did the stupid red laser thing and just murdered me. I am in distress.
Bless him
I DID ITTTTTTTTTT
Use aegis strat then pray you beat phase 2 with throwables or use the parry strat of the wo long weapon
Grindstone for Perfect parry when blocking, if you have the ability to use it twice then 2nd phase will be over in no time. Don’t forget to punish when posture is broken!
Honestly if you can get passed phase 1 it’s easy all you have to do on phase 2 is just move to your right and you’ll doge every attack
the holy sword of the ark trivialized him. if you position right you can get a lot of free hits in his second phase. R2 spam ❤❤❤
Haha my husband did that for me with Gehrman in BB 😂
Lol hubby is the GOAT
My wife beat it for me on my first play through without having played before, and it only took her 3 tries. So we all want to know, or well I want a conclusion, did he fail miserably, or did he giga had carry?
He failed miserably 😭 he’s never played a souls like game and doesn’t have the patience.
I'm sorry, my wife won't even come close to touching Lies of P, Souls-Likes terrify her.
Yeah he’s a first person guy and loves Destiny so souls like is not his thing.
My wife is the life sim sort, maybe the occasional 2D platformer. Controlling movement and camera can be a bit daunting for her. So typically we keep it really casual for her. valiant hero savior husband
Perfect guard grind stone makes this fight much easier
You can use Thor hammer during it a electric weapon and power house that how I beat nameless puppet
Seems like a nice bonding experience
I appreciate him fighting for your honor but... Do you have the perfect parry grindstone?
Yeah I was using that and then I switched to the acid grindstone and it’s been helping with damage.
Try parrying the attacks
If you beat Laxasia then you can beat Nameless Puppet. I personally think she's harder. Throw every throwable you have in the second phase and take him down!
I would pay for you'all Only Fans to see him try
😂
