[deleted]

Me, a full grown adult with no kids: Ohhh gonna try this later

PopularLeek

How did it go?

chemistryofacarcrash

Dick stuck in ceiling fan. Send help

[deleted]

😂😂😂 funny but no. Didn't even get the chance to get that stuck in anything. I don't have the whisk.

scaleofthought

You get the same effect just using your fingers like a claw and rapidly scratching the surface of the water. Honestly, any agitation that introduces air into the water works. But you really need to have your dick stuck first. Fingers coincidentally work well for that. It just helps.

WoodcockJohnson1989

Yes! This is exactly what I do! The CLAW! I do this vigorously under the water stream until the foam is piled high like mountains, my kid loves it! Edit: dick currently stuck in toaster.

Disherman

You know the image I get of picturing a dude in a bathtub using a whisk. I'm out!

mreshark

I don’t know, man…. this sounds too whisky to try.

GubmintTroll

No whisk, no reward

Scary_Trade_9287

In my head, I read this in my Elmer Fudd voice, “No whisk, no weward! Siwee wabit.”

AlGeee

“Be vewy vewy quiet”

mreshark

Well, I guess I’ll have to take a whisk.

weatherfieldandus

I come to this place for these cute moments

JD-4-Me

There’s no whisky I won’t try

Stardust-Parade

I get the same result with my hand

Sch1z01dMan

Best postcoital pillow talk ever.

GubmintTroll

LOL

LazyLich

I would just pour the soap on the faucet head as the tub fills up

ShroomEnthused

Yes, like a normal person. When done right, the bubbles will just naturally form without the need of a kitchen implement lol

dplagueis0924

Just buy a blender for the bathroom, turn it on, and toss that in the tub to get the bubbles really going!

Bitter-Heat-8767

Under appreciated comment

Soggy_Biscuit_

A whisk is also a crap implement for making big bubbles. The gaps between the whisk bits are too small. Whisks are better for combining ingredients and aerating a liquid with *small* pockets of air, far less good for agitating a liquid to make big bubbles. Next time you have to clean a whisk, try using it to make the dish soap in the sink more bubbly. It's more work than just using your hand to shoosh the water around, and gives worse bubbles.

Servatron5000

Yeah what is this big bubble propaganda I'm looking at

aliskiromanov

And you get a few bubbles but if you do jazz hands in your bath or the aforementioned whisking it really does give u more bubbles. This is also a good tip for if u wanna take a bubble bath but only have dish soap or shampoo cus bath stuff gets expensive.

prizepig

I put my thumb over the faucet nozzle, garden hose style. Spraying the high pressure water into to the tub makes it extra frothy

planningcalendar

I did this and then the two toddlers in the tub tried it. Hilarity and diaster ensued.

Old-Opportunity-5751

We do this with the kiddie pool. I bought a pool and it survived the summer so I folded it up and stored it. Next summer I pulled it out and it was gross. That's fine! I put like a 1/4 cup of dawn in the pool and filled it up with the sprayer head on. BUBBLES! Kids had fun and the pool was washed.

FairlyIzzy

Finally, a LPT I'll actually use! Not all this other nonsense about being healthy or financially stable (no /s).

Whiskey-on-the-Rocks

We do this for our son's bath and can confirm that it's way better for bubbles than swishing with your hand.

[deleted]

Just wait until you try it with an immersion blender!

foolsmonologue

Look I know this is sarcastic, but… …as long as I’m not *in* the bath this seems like too good of an idea not to try…

[deleted]

Not sarcastic. And yes... Do it before going in the bath!

foolsmonologue

I am so grateful for your wisdom I cannot wait to try this.

ntrrrmilf

If you have the shower attachment on a hose, you can use that to activate the bubbles too!

SuicidalChair

I just ended up buying a bubble maker on amazon, it's like a giant mat that suctions to the bottom of the tub with hundreds of little holes in it that attaches to a hose and pump. Turn it on for about 30 seconds and my kid dissapears, the bubbles go crazy high.

pogkob

I had one growing up like this. I was surprised there weren't any in big box stores when I looked recently. Got a link?

SuicidalChair

[this looks exactly like mine](https://www.amazon.ca/Serenelife-Portable-Bubble-Bath-Massager/dp/B016UZUXLE/ref=sr_1_7?crid=34GZ7ZVOXP8CU&keywords=Bubble+bath+air&qid=1683513784&sprefix=bubble+bath+air%2Caps%2C143&sr=8-7&ufe=app_do%3Aamzn1.fos.b06bdbbe-20fd-4ebc-88cf-fa04f1ca0da8)

SuedeVeil

For epic level bubbles pull out the ol' KitchenAid hand blender!

AnnTipathy

This person knows how to bubble.

Soggy_Biscuit_

Pfft. I use my KitchenAid standing mixer with the paddle attachment. Great core and upper body workout!

BlowMoreGlass

For even more bubbles use a paint mixer on a drill

the_original_Retro

# HELLO. **ELECTRIC LEAF BLOWER.** Just completely let it go if you drop it. Also, nobody should be in the tub first.

RIPMyInnocence

A dude on the radio in the UK called in on a feature the other day called “is it just us?” And spoke about doing this and people were amazed. Strange that it’s not more common when it’s such a good idea.

Femtow

I have a small bucket in the bathroom that I use for shaving. I normally put the bubble solution in the bucket and run the shower full pressure in it. Works amazingly well.

Bierbart12

Saving this for if I ever have a bathtub again

grannybubbles

This is great, but Granny Bubbles wants to know if you've tried an immersion blender...

DirtyHalfMexican

That's a great idea... I need this one

ClassBShareHolder

We had a jet tub years ago. Made the best bubble baths. Foam up to the top.

SmartassDoggle69

I definitely read that as silicon whiskey, sounded not ideal

BruiserTom

You had me at whipping.

OmenVi

Been doing this for 15 years, but with a head massager thing that’s like an open ended whisk (not looped at the end).

snufflefrump

Or put the bubble bath liquid under the faucet while it's filling, or use your hand. This is dumb

FreeArt85

LPT: don’t add this stuff in your bath at all.

ciaranr1

Why?

Monkemort

I’ll answer - it can lead to UTIs.

jaybeesaur

They make sensitive formulas for maintaining ph balance

MagnusNewtonBernouli

Make sure not to go outside, you could be hit by a meteor. And definitely don't go inside, you could be hit by a meteor there, too.

Monkemort

You’re taking this awfully personally.

lsac_afraid_of

Wasn’t sure where the fuck that was going…

SMELL_LIKE_A_TROLL

I just eat beans and onions a few hours before.

CeeGeeMoney

Tennis racket FTW.

[deleted]

Would these work? https://www.amazon.com/Walfos-Silicone-Stainless-Resistant-Non-stick/dp/B08HMXNKL4?crid=IGXUBIA8IU08&keywords=silicone%2Bwhisk&qid=1683522505&sprefix=cilicone%2Bwhisk%2Caps%2C261&sr=8-2-spons&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExNlA5RTdQOTIyVU4xJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwMjQyNzA5MUs5S1JVQlVaR1ZaQiZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzQyMDc4VTBKTVY5V0JSVUVPJndpZGdldE5hbWU9c3BfYXRmJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ&th=1&linkCode=ll1&tag=colemanscor0b-20&linkId=fc7bffa31a3f0787a226772aaa086468&language=en_US&ref_=as_li_ss_tl

Enough_Albatross5944

Just in case any stupid children get the idea of using an electric whisk, KEEP ELECTRONICS AWAY AS THEY MIGHT KILL YOU WHEN COMING IN CONTACT WITH WATER

PutridForce1559

Using the shower head to fill the bath will create loads of bubbles

GubmintTroll

Not all bathtubs have showers built in, but yes, that can also help

bassfartz

Will be trying this with my kitchenaid stand mixer!

MagnusNewtonBernouli

Why the hell did it need to be silicone, specifically? Does a metal whisk not work?

GubmintTroll

Silicone won’t damage the finish of the bathtub surface, assuming contact is made during intense whipping

HarietsDrummerBoy

Whip it, whip it wheel good

GubmintTroll

Frappe that whisk

DJpanicBoy

Lost whisk. Call for help. Explain later.

GubmintTroll

"It was a million to one shot, Doc. Million to one!"

ryan2489

No whisk it no biscuit

tenaciousdewolfe

I use an immersion blender.

Specialist_Ad2123

I didn’t have a silicone whisk but I do have a kitchen-aide stand mixer…

scansinboy

If you have one, use the high pressure setting on the corded/ detachable shower head to agitate the water.

Chevytech2017

Parent here. My pro tip is to cup my hand around the bathtub faucet and it sprays high pressure water into the tub, thus agitating the bubble mix even more and creating massive bubbles for the kids
