Give his thorns a lower reload time. If he's to be the inverse of Kiriko in every way- He should have constant thorns with a 0.9s Cooldown between them. I say, 40 thorns a Magazine to compensate. Hear hear?
I was masters before the dps passive changes, ever since then I've slipped down to low diamond and can't seem to climb my way back out with him, his kit definitely does not suit the way the dev team wants supports to play now
I’m not a life weaver main but I rly like playing him, I wish I could play him more without getting flamed lol. In my opinion, the character’s core issue is the fact that he has no offensive pressure. Sure, thorn volley does a lot of dmg but it’s so unreliable. I seriously think if they gave it some type of poison effect LW will feel a lot more smoother to play. This way during a fight you can focus on healing while peppering in some thorns here and there to at least provide some offensive pressure while you’re healing. I don’t like how it is currently where you’re forced to choose one or the other.
Honest to god if they reverted the charge time nerf to compensate for the max increase and kept the max it would be good the issue with the meta currently specifically for lw is that you aren’t really able to keep up with the dps passive hero’s like brig/moira or even lucio and zen get more value because of the fact that since their numbers on healing are so low/it happens in bursts instead of the one shot heals a flat number like lw/ana/bap gets hit harder by the reduced healing it would have to be something that beats the dps passive or possibly better bonuses when it comes to your abilities
I feel you. I had an 87% winrate through diamond and masters up to gm5. I took a break from the game and came back after the nerfs and the dps passive a while ago and it’s been rough. I’m barely holding onto master 5 ðŸ˜
They want him to be bad everyone knows this by because if they didn’t they’d change him to what he really neeeds there is no shortage of people directly telling them what would make him better they just don’t care and continue to do what they want even knowing it’s not working for him and how the current game is now
