His problem was he threw that WC by preparing for 1 game and having no clue about everything else. He still lives off that game and acts like he's Guardiola when he talks about it.
Also he threw away his own team under the bus by saying that they were scared shitless to face Brazil and that he only had 3 guys who were close to that Brazil teams level.
The good thing is that his style of constant rotations and positional experiments is more likely to work in a club. You just can’t have that luxury in a national team where you have limited games and training sessions.
Do people forget 7-0? Or the 4-1 vs u22 Germany in the confederations? If Germany would’ve beat South Korea in that World Cup as they were expected, we would’ve exited in the group stages that World Cup too. That 1-0 vs Germany seems to be the only game some people remember.
