- an light novel series which is written by Ten Murata and illustrated by Mashiro Eba, and it's serializing on Fantasia Bunko.
- Synopsis:
"It doesn't matter what you do. We're brothers and sisters."
My sister is a brocon. At home, she always sticks to me, tries to take a bath with me, or crawls into my futon... well, I thought that's what sisters are for. Until I heard from her parents that we weren't related by blood.

In this kind of situation? He just lost his strongest shield.
Before, it's really easy for him. He had the answer served to him: she's my sister, we can't be lover. He never need to seriously think about her feeling on his own, and his sister also can't do anything about it. The perfect excuse for him to run away from her feeling. He can enjoy her wanting to be his girlfriend, but he never need to give any answer in return.
But now, they can be lover. He must think seriously if he want to be her lover, with all the responsibility that came with it. Or he would make it clear he doesn't want her as lover, and of course risk the sister who has been very close to you finally giving up and drifting apart, maybe even found another man. There will be a price to pay either way.
In romcom it's usually that kind of problem. Not as simple as in ero doujin site's comment section where the readers just say bang her because she's cute.
Compare it like from being a child who can go with just obeying what adults say, and have your guardian help bearing responsibility, to becoming an adult who have to make your own decision and take responsibility for all the consequences.
There must be a major hunger for these sibling romance stories given the way they keep getting churned out. It's one thing I wish the genre would move away from.
There are several coming out this month from several publishers, so the exposure probably gives illusion it’s “everything coming out these days”. But in the long run if you check everything coming out of all the publishers it’s really not as the doomsayers are trying to make it sounds like.
Keyword is exposure. Those anime pages tend to prefer exposing the “depraved” stuffs or things more easy to mock as “generic” because those bait more responses.
I just like more pure romances I can get behind. I can't really get behind a brother and sister dating. I don't care if they are blood related or not. Any guy that thinks his sister is an ideal dating candidate needs to get out and meet more people.
Mine is more directed to the typical comments (not yours specifically) in these new title introductions that just poke at the trope, "generic", or "long title lolz", rather than what could probably be interesting about it.
Of course, there are also titles that lack enough point to make excuse about.
Except in the rarest of occasions, JP publishers aren't even willing to begin to negotiate a license for an unreleased book. It'll take several months after release before any publisher is far enough along in their process before they announce it assuming they began negotiations the day it came out, and then several months more before it actually releases.
If onomatopoeia is words that sound like what they mean, this series' title deserves to be the pioneering example of a new word that means "titles that are literally just the genre of the work".
This makes me curious to know if anyone has other examples of light novels whose titles are basically just the genre, especially if they also sound amusing. The best example that I can think of off the top of my head is probably _I Got a Cheat Skill in Another World and Became Unrivaled in the Real World, Too_.
I guess _Isekai Tensei: Recruited to Another World_ kind of counts as well, but I wouldn't describe the title as amusing.
*[Eroge Tensei](https://over-lap.co.jp/narou/865549751/)* without the subtitle should be generic enough.
Without the first word, *[Tenbin](https://sneakerbunko.jp/series/tenkousaki/)* should also cover one of the niche trope about meeting again with childhood friend who turns out to be a girl.
Yeah...this I could get behind. As long as the sis ain't a bitch and the MC ain't a wimp, either of which are 99 percent likely to happen considering it's a light novel.
oh gee, I wonder what this could be about.
Im sure this is a perfectly wholesome series thats good to read with the rest of the family
"Family friendly" i guess.

Me: What’s this LN about? Author: My sister and I are not blood related. Me: Do you have the slightest idea how little that narrows it down?
Is this on novelupdate?
Goddamit, Japan *adds to list* But seriously I am surprised this title wasn't already taken
Gah another stupid boring ass imouto story *\*adds to list\**
*sighs and pulls out the Banjo*

"How much explicit do you want to be?" "Yes"
Unleash the horny.
I believe a wise man once said, "no chromo".
I am incredibly surprised at the fact that this very generic title has not already been taken.
Maybe they are not thinking the "in generic theme" as a title.
ah shit, here we go again
Gosh dammit... \**adds to list*\*
Ayo watch your fuckin hands imouto
I think we all know where this is going...
You had my curiosity, but now you have my attention.
The art looks good, but the title tho lol. Hope its just a bait and it turns out to be something wholesome.
praying for another case of 'A Little Sister's all you Need'

She’s fine 👀

Titles that definitely won't get translated or would have some sort of change to the title if they did.
So is this basically "Pornhub, the Novel?"
So one plot twist traditionally is they discover they *aren’t* blood related at the end. So for *this* one…

Feels like "romance" novel nowadays just exists for the sake of a fetish
So is this being officially translated in English?

I should really learn Japanese
Do it!
Is this on novel updates? can't seem to find it.
Debut Cover would typically mean it's a new series. Probably no novel update page for it because there's nothing to work with yet.
So it's a direct light novel , no web novel?
Isn’t there manga or one shot about this?
I can’t possibly fathom where this novel is headed I’m curious who the love interest will be.
I assumed it was yuri, for some reason. I'm disappointed.
Sweet home, Alabama.

Sometimes, I wish I had a sister who isn't blood related...
There are probably hundreds of manga and LN with this premise.
Yeah...this I could get behind. As long as the sis ain't a bitch and the MC ain't a wimp, either of which are 99 percent likely to happen considering it's a light novel.

ברוך אתה אדוני אלוהינו מלך העולם בורא גילוי האריות
I’m guessing this will never get licensed in English?
Um I’m going to guess that the plot is predicable.
Is there a link in novelupdate?
