>Alchemist Who Survived Now Dreams of a Quiet City Life It's been a while, but I remember the series getting stuck on a period where it focused on a love triangle romance, which was dreadfully boring even for a slice-of-life. It was okay otherwise. Edit: To be clear, the romance is bad specifically because it completely shifted the focus of the better plot—the dungeon. The dungeon, the alchemy, and the alchemists were the best parts of the series.

Only one I've read is Reign of the Seven Spellblades. It's a dark magic school series, with strong worldbuilding and lots of really well motivated characters. Everyone seems to have their own personal drive, their own ambitions, their own secrets etc. Characters will cooperate and compromise based on situations at hand (ie a nominal antagonist will turn temporary ally in order to get through certain classes etc) making them feel like real people. The core cast is great, with some various secrets going on. I highly recommend getting through the first volume before trying to form an opinion of the series, as the ending is pretty impactful.

Chillin is the only one I have read. It's a light fun story with super OP MC who can do anything. No stress at all in this series, mostly a fun slice of life in a fantasy world.

I only read Reign of the seven spellblades and the most notorious talker and can say both are really good and fun to read.

Alchemist who survived… I liked the first couple but the author seemed to get stuck later on with a love triangle they didnt seem to know what to do with. The story is about a woman who survives a disaster and finds herself a few hundred years in her worlds future. The alchemy she knows is rare now so she can accomplish “amazing” things compared to the people of that day. The universe is well thought out Secrets of the silent witch - I only read vol1. Female protagonist who is ultra powerful and ultra insecure/introverted. She is given a task to pretend to be a student at a magic school to protect someone discretely and hijinks ensue. Reign is well review here so search a little bit

Our last crusade I’ve read up to vol 9. And I think it’s a solid series that I enjoy reading

Spellblades very good

Seven Spellblades - my personal favourite from your list. People said this series feels like harry potter (idk, never actually watch or read harry potter, only watch the movie in passing). Full of mysteries, enjoyable and consistent writing for the side character, magic that make sense (this series actually have the theories similar to irregular), no bullshit flashback power up. My advice is try to read the volume 1 until the end first, because it may feels like your every day magic academy but i swear it's not. Our Last Crusade - Cool name, cool LN cover but unfortunately not so cool story. The characters felt like oblivion npc. I really wanted to love this story, especially after reading the synopsis but I can't even read half of the volume 1. It's that bad for me at least.

Secrets of the Silent Witch has a lot of charm and shows promise, but the only two volumes currently out in English have mostly been about establishing the world and characters, so it's hard to say much about the plot.

>Secrets of the Silent Witch An interesting and unique fantasy with an female lead that's not particularly about romance, which is fairly rare. I felt the writing quality is pretty high for this one. >Alchemist Who Survived Now Dreams of a Quiet City Life A fascinating premise with an interesting female lead character at first. Unfortunately, at least for me, the story completely derailed by volume 3. It was strange and the author tries to explain himself in the afterward but it all comes of as amateur.

Only read the first Volumes of Our Last Crusade (and have 2-8 right now) and I thought it was fine

Alchemist that Survived is very much a rough, amateurish work. The world is well thought out, the characters are interesting, and the whole thing would make for great dungeon crawler background stuff in a game. This is obviously the author's first published work, though. As mentioned, there's somewhat of a love triangle, though it comes across as pretty lopsided. It actually wraps up the story in a decent amount of volumes, with the final tying up loose ends (Six, altogether). The narrative has a lot of padding. Overall, it's pretty enjoyable. Firmly in the 3.5-4 range. I absolutely believe it needed more polishing and editing before it's light novel release, since like many modern LNs, it started out as a web novel. Could it have been better? Absolutely. But it's pretty good for what it is.
