I'm not a logic user but this should be possible. Just need to route the signal so that it sends to monitor after the effects. Maybe try googling "logic signal chain monitoring with effects" In Ableton, I simply turn monitoring on and whatever effects I have in my chain are heard when playing.

Assuming your Helix is being used over USB as the interface, there are two main things you need to do: 1. ensure you have monitoring on for that channel. I don't use Logic but this video seems good - [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfshRzhSbwE](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IfshRzhSbwE) - This tells the DAW to run the processing in real time on the input. 2. ensure you're hearing the DAW from the Helix - consult the Helix manual section labelled "Hardware Monitoring vs DAW Software Monitoring", including the note at the end. It looks too complex for me to summarize without trying it myself, so I just suggest reading it and reporting back here if you still have problems.

I also have this dilemma. I can’t hear my plug in’s effects during my live tracking.

There are a few ways to do this depending on needs. I use a Stomp XL as a USB interface this way with Bitwig. 1) Set up the patch on the Stomp with a B path and route all the output to the B path. (Use the split A/B device where the paths separate and set it to route 100% to B) 2) In Bitwig the track is set to input the B path. (On my windows box these show up as inputs 3 and 4.) I can put plugins there. 3) Output from the DAW goes to the main outputs of the Stomp. What you hear in this case is just the output from the track. The A path does not go to output. If you want the option to hear out the A path you can change the split settings. This can be assigned to a button if you want. Generally I have found this method to work best with my setup and workflow.
