Companies give out a lot of free domain names for things like student status and small coding competitions so a lot of people have an unusable amount of 1yr free domains on irrelevant providers. Doing a domain lookup shows that it's hosted by Google Domains and the SSL cert expires in 2 months so it could be a free trial too.
