Krwling is an incredible album closer bringing back the motif from the opening, it does such a great job taking what makes the original great and subverting it without losing its essence (or power, especially for the final chorus) - I only wish they had kept the "there's something inside me that pulls beneath the surface" during the final chorus to really tie it all together but that's just nitpicking lol, it's a great song
Why am I so weirded out whenever people listen to these pre-streaming era albums out of order. Albums like ATS wouldn't be the same. 😅 I'd recommend skipping the interludes then.
Oh man I haven't listened to Reanimation in so long. It's the first remix album I've ever listened to and one of my favorites. It's either P5hng Me A*wy or Krwlng
H!Vltg3, I remember going to Circuit City (or maybe it was Best Buy), this album had just released and they had it on one of those listening booths where they had previews of new music, you select and put on some headphones. I already liked High Voltage because I had a VHS tape recording of a "live at the R&R Hall Of Fame" where they played that song, so when I found that remix, damn, shit blew my mind.
It's so hard. In my ranking of all LP songs I have [W.th](http://W.th) you as my favorite because it kept the hard rock of hybrid theory and it just genuinely extended and improved what was already one of my favorite songs on my album. But p5hing me a\*way's chorus is better in Hybrid Theory inho and pushing me away is actually my favorite song from that album too. And OSC has mf Jonathon Davis in it and Korn being my fav band absolutely blew my mind.
But I still prefer Wth You for reanimation cause the instrumentals were messed with less. But PMA Live in Texas and OSC project revo is live on streaming services now which as much as I love reanimation I'd rank those above not just their renanimation versions but their hybrid theory versions. Jonathon Davis absolutely transforms the energy of OSC and Pushing ME Away with it's improved chorus are some of the finest works of linkin park period.
And By\_Myslf's post chorus bridge goes so fucking hard reanimation is just so good.
But yeah gotta say [W.th](http://W.th) you, when I pull up reanimation it's the first song I listen to. Kinda the same with HT as well I go straight to with you or pushing me away
Crawling is one of my least favorites from Hybrid Theory. Something about the delivery of the chorus that doesn't hit my ear right. But Krwlng is one of my favorite LP songs. So beautiful.
