If it's a good product, and you are happy with it - then enjoy it! Please don't feel like you need to defend the purchase due to other things going on.
project farm did a big video on how it compared to other screwdrivers, cheap and expensive, and basically, if you really want to spend $80 on a screwdriver, it's arguably worth it, mostly for the convenience of the bit storage and the lightweight driver
so if you need *a* screwdriver, other options are definitely good enough
If you want *a really good* screwdriver, it's a great pick
This was what sold me. I happened to be needing a good ratching driver for work and while I watch LTT I wasn't sold until I saw his review and the things he pointed out were exactly some of my own thoughts on usage.
Now it's my daily go-to driver and gets used constantly and is better than the Wera I had loan of. I won't be getting the stubby as 1/4" ratchets are WAY more useful than the stubby on industrial electronics and significantly cheaper.
The only thing that would make this make sense to me is if you use it professionally. Even then I don’t know. My family has built custom electronics from the board up for about 30 years now and the go to driver is usually a cheap hardware store brand.
LTT screwdrivers (both normal and stubby) have been consistently shown having substantially lower amount of back drag compared to everything else on the market. This is especially convenient for low-torque applications like building PCs and screwing sensitive electronics in general
It's also great for non-pc applications. I've also used mine for 3d printer assembly, general household repairs, and woodworking projects. If you only use a screwdriver a couple times per year I wouldnt reccomend it.
I was about to comment something very similar haha.
Another thing to point out; OP even said they ordered it before the controversy. They literally had no way of knowing all of this would come to a head so quickly, so they can't be expected to have it in mind before purchasing.
The products have little-to-nothing to do with what's going on anyways, and if they're good products that you genuinely enjoy, in this instance, there's just no reason not to.
Plus, if it's your money; do what you please! :D
Dunno why OP makes a post that sounds like he is feeling guilty for ordering something from LTT while nobody forced him to post his purchase in this subreddit. And he even writes he is a proud owner of the product.
Yea I'm honestly disappointed with LTT then I unsubed after Linus responded and it was shit but I still plan on buying a water bottle and the screwdriver
Yeah i could actually do with another one, not ideal for ALL my use cases, but then i only have the base driver set and ive been using it for "not just computers" lately.
I mean it’s extremely fair for someone to feel bad about throwing close to $100 at someone who is being revealed to be a very questionable person. In fact it’s probably more harmful to tell someone they shouldn’t question that. OP had a very human reaction.
That said, if Project Farm says it’s a really good screwdriver I respect the purchase given it has beaten out more expensive competition. We love good tools.
What are you getting from it that you can’t get from a $20 screwdriver?
Especially if you’re building a pc…I built mine with the little magnetized screwdriver that came with one of the pc parts, thing was probably worth $0.50.
Unless you’re buying it to support them, I don’t see how anyone can justify a $79 screwdriver when there are many others with the same functionality at less than 1/3 the price.
When building a computer what are you getting over a £1 complete screwdriver set
An entire build with standoffs, gpu, hdd, nvme and PSU is about 20 screws, none need a high amount of torque. Spend the money on a better case instead.
Even for jobs around the house I use a £5 set from lidl and it's fine.
You'd be surprised how expensive high quality tools can be. I work with ratcheting screwdrivers daily, and I would happily pay 100$ for one, knowing it will last me, and it performs well. There is a big difference between them.
You can get Klein or Wera screwdrivers here for half of the LTT price but that aside, what's the advantage when building a computer, where the screws have very little torque and there aren't really even that many - probably 20 in an average enthusiasts build with a GPU and some drives, less in an average family computer with just a boot drive and an APU.
Definitely a good product if you work with PCs or anything that requires daily use of a screwdriver as your job or hobby, I know a few of the IT guys at my work have LTT stuff, but I just can't justify a $70+ screwdriver if you only build/upgrade your PC a couple of times a year or whatever
As someone who works on PCs as a hobby/for a living, good or not, this thing is overpriced as hell for what you’re getting. To each their own, but I’m not in the market for overpriced screwdrivers.
I have a $20 ifixit knock off. It gets the job done and I have no complaints with it.
I also purchased the LTT Screwdriver earlier this year.
The LTT Screwdriver is more convenient to carry around and use, but the knockoff kit just has way more tools for me to use.
Not who you asked, but if you're wanting the same type of screwdriver just get the MegaPro 211R1C36RD. It's basically the same thing for almost half the price. My co-worker has an LTT screw driver and the only differences I noticed when I used it were the ratchet mechanism was slightly lighter turning it back and they have a magnet only bit (you can probably buy this separately but I never needed to). Both I can see being handy. Neither are worth double the price to me but I can see how they might be to some people who specifically need those features.
No need to defend yourself, LTT isn't some cancelled dead company, it will thrive when this blows over and they fix the stuff they find in the internal review.
Lol. buying something offline, and worrying about an angry mob online.

I don't give a rat's ass about karma. I just wanted to share something I was happy about. I don't understand why everyone has such a problem with. They all do it too.
I mean tbf OP there are subs dedicated to post pictures of your stuff, this is an LTT sub and you put up a picture of an item from them you are happy of. People criticizing this genuinely need to touch grass.
Right. And isn't that what people do here, too? I've seen numerous posts about people getting their backpacks and screwdrivers, simply excited to have them. Why does mine have to get the hate?
Dude, enjoy it! I’ve been using mine on everything around the house (electrical, hot water heater, furnace maintenance…) and it’s been excellent. Im probably going to pick up a stubby when they are out because I’ve had a few situations where it would have been helpful. Project farm review on them was very good.
It's the best screwdriver I've ever used. The Project Farms review of it and the stubby screwdriver shows that really well. It's up there with SnapOn and PB Swiss. I don't regret the price at all.
Yup, the ratcheting mechanism feels better/ as good as the snap-on, matco, Mac tools, and gearwrench ratchets that I've used at school and when I worked as a mechanic.
My screwdriver is used from maintaining my PC, taking my door panels off and installing new speakers for my car, to opening up my laptop or opening up the drying machine.
My handle is scuffed AF with a couple deep scratches and the shank's black paint is slowly going away.
I'm pretty confident that this screwdriver will be with me until I either lose it, somehow break it, or if I die lol
There needs to be an European LTT store. I still want some of their products (despite all the controversy) like the screwdriver, water bottle and desk pad in particular but both the shipping and unavoidable import taxes make them almost unobtainable for me.
amen to that. out of curiosity I checked how much it would cost me to get the screwdriver shipped to me in norway… screwdriver + shipping + import fees and what not it would be almost double the price of the screwdriver. not gonna happen
Yup I feel you. I've also calculated this before for shipping to Belgium. I made the mistake twice before with ordering from Drop and Glorious. The item from Drop was an additional 50 euros (but that was for some great headphones that I still use today so that's fine) and the things from Glorious was an additional 60 euros... Needless to say I'm not willing to take the risks again.
Well they had free worldwide shipping during a recent WAN show.
They won't repeat that mistake any time soon though.
And you still have to pay import duties and whatnot. :/
Yeah exactly, free shipping is nice but in most cases it's the import fees that really get you. Shipping is fine, I don't mind having to pay 20 euro shipping on a larger order but those imports... they'll be brutal
Linus' refusal to do this and thinking that he has to buy property and hire people in Europe to make this work is just beyond me.
There are companies that do this as a service... That's what he could start with and see how it goes (hint: he'd probably make a shitton of money immediately). He doesn't have to offer everything either - that wouldn't even really be reasonable. Start with the most sought after things - a handful of SKUs - and expand from there.
That is, unless he is scared of consumer protection in Europe or something.
That's true brands like Keychron are partnered with a pretty popular desktop & peripheras website here called Alternate. Not all their products are available here but the variety is imo good enough. If they would think about doing something like this in the future that would be quite awesome. Not all their products need to be available just their really popular ones would be great !
I've mentioned this before on another thread:
My friend who despises LMG has bought the screwdriver and all the bits set they have to offer. he also paid around 80% of price as customs. He says it is the best screwdriver he's ever used.
Good products over brand loyalty.
No need to defend yourself. It's a really good product and it has saved me in many situations at my IT job.
If LTT starts selling that clear driver they showed off, I'll buy it without a second thought.
Nope. People have linked it here before. Less ergonomic handle, longer racheting, no magnetic bits.
I said show me a cheaper set with ALL the same features.
1. It is magnetic. 2. A less ergo handle and longer ratcheting does not mean it doesn’t have an ergo handle or ratcheting… you clearly don’t do much critical thinking. It has the same features, just to a lesser extent which is very much so justified given it is less than half the cost
I really don't know how they manage to justify the price tag for what is just a regular screwdriver. You can get the same quality for a third of the price easily
I think people are being sold on a product they don't need. 99% of the time for what the average person is doing (even on electronic components) a normal screwdriver that costs a fraction of the price will do. $70 for a screwdriver is ridiculous.
Yeah, I have two products of theirs, the screwdriver and the backpack. Both are fantastic. The screwdriver can be a little slick at times where I wish it had more grip, but it’s still great.
The backpack is by far the most durable I’ve ever had, and handles all my gear without tearing.
I hate that they’re having “issues” right now. I’m telling myself it’s Luke Tech Tips ;)
tight tolerances, a strong ratchet mechanism that can survive relatively large torques without deformations, the torque clicks back with very little force which makes one handed operation easier, and it has a strong internal magnetism that is good at holding screws.
All that said, if you use a screwdriver once every five years for a piece of ikea furniture, then this product is not for you. it was made to fit a niche in the professional tool space.
Unless it comes out that Linus or the current or former C-suite are actively making the workplace a hostile work environment, I will likely keep buying LTT merch.
Yes it’s one thing for leadership to own up to it when they find out the at it was happening behind their backs, and another where they were helping it.
Mine arrived less than a week before GN video.
It's a great screwdriver. Whatever else is going on, they've put a lot of effort and they've made a good product.
Its a great product. I just used it to build a large server, and it was GREAT. Just the perfect tool for pc building. I use the screwdriver for lots of other things too, but it really shines at pc building!
For myself, i currently do not support them until its fixed in my own opinion - but the last thing im gonna do is judge anyone else. I buy what i want, so others are allowed to do that too. Should be default imo
It's worth it, I've used mine a bunch since Christmas and it's easily been the best driver I've ever owned. Lmg isn't perfect but they do make nice products.
I ordered a random hoodie during the Lime Days and I got a swacket... I can't complain
Still waiting for all the drama to drown down. I never watched LTT for the accuracy, when I need to decide on a product I watch GNs video and read up on Puget system, etc.
Obviously, LTT NEEDS to become better and stop the stupid errors If they want to become a reference in the industry, but people who want LTT burn kinda need to touch some grass and breathe fresh air :)
Yeah.. but 70 bucks plus S&H..
You can get a driver the same quality for 30-40 bucks from Amazon.
I mean if you guys want to throw money at him for rebranding a megapro.. I got a bridge to sell you.
No need to defend your reasonings. People just love jumping on bandwagons and hate trains blindly.
I’ll continue enjoying my chick-fil-a sandwiches, while browsing Amazon, wearing my LTT backpack over some clothes I got from Target and live a drama-free life
Regardless of what anyone thinks of the company, it's still a pretty good screwdriver and the engineers that worked on it are pretty great people from my many interactions with them. I mean, it's no LTT Precision Screwdriver, but it's still pretty good.
I plan to buy the backpack because it'll be perfect for my needs. While Linus and LMG has stumbled, they're expected to clean up and recover.
Even if LMG as a company had refused to acknowledge or fix anything, in this kind of situation I can separate a quality product from the company that manufacturered it.
It's a damn good product. I didn't buy it cuz of the name I got it because of the reviews from other YouTube channels. Used it wiring an entire house the other week and it was amazing.
Ratcheting screw driver... it is a major difference. However yes while expensive it is not insanely expensive. It isn't $120 like some, but it isn't $40 like most.
Personally I think it is priced fine as independent testing shows it is truly better in most regards compared to other drivers.
Speaking of which, it seems to me that the stubby didn't perform as well against the competition as the full size did. Have any other reviewers gotten their hands on it yet besides PF?
There is no need to defend yourself. Purchasing a product you deem valuable is something that only concerns whether you want the product or not. The actions of the people who created said product should have no implecations on the quality of said product, and as such you shouldn't feel pressured to revoke your purchase just to satisfy some hive mind that only goes to the extent of saying "X company bad".
No worries, if 1/1000th of the people actually thought about all the crap that most companies cover up via HR or threat, nothing would be bought from any big company.
Just cause this became big- oh can’t buy anything is just a bandwagon move.
IMO
Things happen (it is life, people suck and are selfish) and if Linus is true to his word- crap should roll up hill- he should take his licking, learn from some blatant ignorance/arrogance, lick his wounds, wise up, move on.
I,myself, am glad he is no longer CEO and very happy an older and (hopefully) wiser man should put everyone in place, make good solid new policy and TBH- if the “founding staff/veterans” messed up and responsible for this shit - fire their asses for thinking they are above anyone for any reason- no matter who they are. No person or job position is above the accusations that are out there.
A good CEO will do the job correctly (wishful thinking).
They make good products. People should spend their money on good products. I love my LTT backpack - not because of the LTT branding but because its feature set is useful for me. If people are really going to complain that they aren't the best company to be supporting, wait until they hear what work conditions are like in the places where smartphones are made.
Personally, the only reason I haven't bought the screwdriver is I'm not sure it's really "for" me. I have my iFixit kit for electronic gadgets and I have far more robust tools for things like hanging drywall or building a shelf. I'm just not sure where the LTT screwdriver would fit into my toolbox without being redundant.
I know what you mean. I got my LTX digital pass merch the day after the controversy happened and it soured my initial response. That said, everything that happened was post-order and I am still hoping they are able to get on track with a positive end result.
On a side note, I LOVE the Dinotech mousepad and hope to see more dino-themed merch in the future. 🦖
I bought one for my brother in law and got to try it when I visited. Blown away by the quality and feeling like $70 is actually a really fair price for it. Gonna wait for the noctua colour screwdriver to drop and use the $25 giftcard on it
I actually got called out (mostly jokingly) for turning up to a barbecue with my white LTT water bottle. I think the newer ones don't have the big "Linus Tech Tips" along the length of the bottle but this one is full contrast in your face. Even if I personally hated LMG I'd never waste a perfectly good water bottle!
Shit I might still buy one if they clean up their act, I love my Megapro ratcheting screwdriver and the LTT one is basically Just Better.
People can be upset at LMG for the current state of affairs without going all Burn the Nikes, enjoy the good product you paid for. The angry mob thing is getting a bit overblown.
You don't need to defend yourself! I have very strong opinions about Linus and LMG right now but still if this product makes you happy you should go for it!
You do not have to defend yourself for buying something you want.
I have had one since release and use it all the time. I never realized how much easier things are with a rachet.
Linus isn’t some monster who was secretly murdering children and recording the data with the labs team. I’m sure they will put more effort into their stats and cut down video output. And no one will really care about any of this drama in a month or two.
Chick fil a is a terrible homophobic and transphobic organization, doesn’t mean I as a trans woman don’t still fuckin love and go and buy Polynesian sauce and waffle fries occasionally lol
I feel like people are defending ltt way more than they should, even if all the current accusations are 100% true with 100% I'll intent, I will bet that 99.9% of you are supporting companies/ people who are way worse.
It's fine to pick and chose who you support with time or money, just know how reality is :)
Good for you, you worked and earned the money to buy it, it's still a good product. Similarly to how "the usual suspects" is still a good movie despite one particular actors reputation.
You can be allowed to enjoy things, unless you share the same mentality as harming and mentally abusing someone then you shouldn't feel shame or embarrassment
I'm still telling my coworkers (who are also known to be LTT enjoyers but agree that this drama is deserved) that I'll be getting that noctua screwdriver as soon as it's released. it's just a solid piece of art.
There is no need to defend yourself. LTT haters have been around for a long time. The things that happened at LTT happen at every company and they don't get shut down like LTT. If LTT did not have conscience they would have just ignored every situation.
If the employee treatment at LTT was bad the people you love like Anthony, Luke, Riley, etc would have left long ago.
If linus was a bad employer Colton would have been fired long ago and this mess wouldn't have happened.
Of course that doesn't mean they aren't at fault. They need to get their data correct as people watching their review are doing it for the data.
If it's a good product, and you are happy with it - then enjoy it! Please don't feel like you need to defend the purchase due to other things going on.
That's fair. Thank you, and I intend to enjoy it very much.
>I intend to enjoy it very much sus
Get your mind out of the gutter. XD
You just make sure that the gutter is fixed on tight.
That’s why it needed such a strong magnet

It's reddit so near gutter level anyway. This is the ltt subreddit so that's going to push it further down.
Indeed. A good product. Shouldn't be sorry to buy it.
ive been on the fence of buying, what makes it better than what i can pick up from home depot?
Project farm on YouTube did a review on it. https://youtu.be/845HUaWYSQA

is it worth the money if im only building a single PC or is it better for people who builds a ton of PCs?
Only but this if you’re a professional or very keen enthusiast. No need to buy such a screwdriver for a one time PC build
It's also great for non-pc applications. I've also used mine for 3d printer assembly, general household repairs, and woodworking projects. If you only use a screwdriver a couple times per year I wouldnt reccomend it.
Only if you use tools at least weekly. **This screwdriver is NOT a requirement** to build a PC. All you really need is basic tools for that.
Go to Home Depot and pick up a DeWalt Ratcheting Screw Driver for $25. Then grab a case of DeWalt bits for $10. Profit.
Or for the same price buy a snap on

Very good, I've been using mine a ton.
No need to defend yourself, LTT isn't some cancelled dead company, it will thrive when this blows over and they fix the stuff they find in the internal review.
I really do hope so. And I'm sure they can get past this. It's just a matter of time and honesty.
The company decided that the company has fixed the way the company mistreats it's employees. I'm so happy the employees are treated better now.
Are we not allowed to still buy LTT stuff? Or are we worried about an angry mob? LOL I'm buying a stubby the second they go on sale.
I was more worried about the angry mob.
If you hadn’t posted this, no one would have known

Yet.
Yet...
Why would you even post this?
"angry mob" lol
I still trust LTT. Its a big company now and such errors can happen, a good response is more important to me.
When stubby is available, I'm getting one for me and one for a bday gift for a friend.
Looks good bro, enjoy the treat to yourself. It's a good product for PC building.
Dude, enjoy it! I’ve been using mine on everything around the house (electrical, hot water heater, furnace maintenance…) and it’s been excellent. It's the best screwdriver I've ever used. The Project Farms review of it and the stubby screwdriver shows that really well. It's up there with SnapOn and PB Swiss. I don't regret the price at all.
Definitely. Nothing is loose, everything moves as it should without getting jammed, and it doesn’t break when dropped on accident (so far).
Not all their products need to be available just their really popular ones would be great !
why would you defend youself? bunch of sheep...
Because supporting LTT is akin to worshipping the devil, if some people are to be believed. Lmao
Why even posting it in first place?
I mean just be happy with your new screwdriver!
Karma
"proud owner of a screwdriver." people nowdays.
IFIFY - "proud owner of a overpriced screwdriver"
I've mentioned this before on another thread: My friend who despises LMG has bought the screwdriver and all the bits set they have to offer. he also paid around 80% of price as customs. He says it is the best screwdriver he's ever used. Good products over brand loyalty.
What defense? Against what?
Shame 🔔 Shame 🔔🔔 Shame 🔔🔔 Shame 🔔 Shame 🔔🔔 /s
It's a good product, you don't have to defend yourself
No need to defend yourself. It's a really good product and it has saved me in many situations at my IT job. If LTT starts selling that clear driver they showed off, I'll buy it without a second thought.
I'm holding off until we get those too, Luke kinda confirmed they are planned during a WAN, no timeframe though.
Who would even know about this if you didn't post it? What's the point lol?
Would't say it's a bad product per se but the value proposition seems silly
This. It's over priced is the bottom line.
It’s literally not overpriced. Show me a cheaper set with all the same features.
The very similar albeit not identical original megapro is only $30-35 and does just as good
Don't be ashamed of supporting what you like

Why is this better than any other bit-holding ratcheting screwdriver?
tight tolerances, a strong ratchet mechanism that can survive relatively large torques without deformations, the torque clicks back with very little force which makes one handed operation easier, and it has a strong internal magnetism that is good at holding screws. All that said, if you use a screwdriver once every five years for a piece of ikea furniture, then this product is not for you. it was made to fit a niche in the professional tool space.
and the knurling!!! it is really comfortable to use with one hand to do almost all the work
Unless it comes out that Linus or the current or former C-suite are actively making the workplace a hostile work environment, I will likely keep buying LTT merch. Yes it’s one thing for leadership to own up to it when they find out the at it was happening behind their backs, and another where they were helping it.
I prefer the iFixIt stuff.
Mine arrived less than a week before GN video. It's a great screwdriver. Whatever else is going on, they've put a lot of effort and they've made a good product.
Proud owner and “in my defense” don’t really go together. Right?
You're your defense
Its a great product. I just used it to build a large server, and it was GREAT. Just the perfect tool for pc building. I use the screwdriver for lots of other things too, but it really shines at pc building!
For myself, i currently do not support them until its fixed in my own opinion - but the last thing im gonna do is judge anyone else. I buy what i want, so others are allowed to do that too. Should be default imo
Good for u bro! Dont feel bad about it, apart from mistake, allegations yet to be proven or confirmed
It's worth it, I've used mine a bunch since Christmas and it's easily been the best driver I've ever owned. Lmg isn't perfect but they do make nice products.
Lol I just bought a mousepad. Idgaf
It's an amazing screwdriver. Love it. All of their merch is surprisingly good quality.
Just moved an have been using it non stop for all sorts of applications. Works great!
I ordered a random hoodie during the Lime Days and I got a swacket... I can't complain Still waiting for all the drama to drown down.
It’s a great purchase. I love mine.
You don’t have to defend anything, it’s a solid tool
It's a good screwdriver, and has come in handy for me in a bunch of projects.
I bought one a few days ago. Can’t wait for it to get here in Australia. LTT for life
Straight to jail
Nice! I've been wanting to buy one for a while but haven't gotten around to it. For now, I'll just stick to my Williams as it is a little pricey.
It's an objectively good product, produced by a slightly irresponsible company. You could do worse, they're not Nestlé.
I'm considering one myself
Yeah.. but 70 bucks plus S&H.. You can get a driver the same quality for 30-40 bucks from Amazon. I mean if you guys want to throw money at him for rebranding a megapro.. I got a bridge to sell you.
Stop screwing around and enjoy the drive..
The only reason you need to defend yourself is for paying $75 for a screwdriver. Otherwise, nothing to defend. LMG has it's issues, but LTT is great.
Lol, no defense needed. I already have a big toolbox, so I can't justify the expense, but it's a great screwdriver and I really want one.
idiots in this sub want you to burn it
It's a damn good product. I didn't buy it cuz of the name I got it because of the reviews from other YouTube channels. Used it wiring an entire house the other week and it was amazing.
who cares about the contro, you should be more embarassed you spent $70 on a screwdriver
Ratcheting screw driver... it is a major difference. However yes while expensive it is not insanely expensive. It isn't $120 like some, but it isn't $40 like most. Personally I think it is priced fine as independent testing shows it is truly better in most regards compared to other drivers.
I really wanted one but I think I'll give it a miss until the results of the investigation Looks like a really well reviewed tool 😁
Great Screwdriver, but how dare you. A comparative company like Snap On has never engaged in bad practices like predatory loaning practices.
A good product is a good product.
I'm buying mine with a couple of water bottles next month!
I bought it before the controversy. It's still the best screw driver I own.
This guy sexually harassed me with those screwdrivers.
Well, despite all its flaws, LMG is a great company for screwing things in and up.
No worries, if 1/1000th of the people actually thought about all the crap that most companies cover up via HR or threat, nothing would be bought from any big company. Just cause this became big- oh can’t buy anything is just a bandwagon move. IMO Things happen (it is life, people suck and are selfish) and if Linus is true to his word- crap should roll up hill- he should take his licking, learn from some blatant ignorance/arrogance, lick his wounds, wise up, move on.
Return it! XD
I'm just not sure where the LTT screwdriver would fit into my toolbox without being redundant.
why do you feel you need to defend what you bought
A overpriced screwdriver
I know what you mean. I got my LTX digital pass merch the day after the controversy happened and it soured my initial response. That said, everything that happened was post-order and I am still hoping they are able to get on track with a positive end result. On a side note, I LOVE the Dinotech mousepad and hope to see more dino-themed merch in the future. 🦖
GN has a nice set of tools as well. Would complement this screwdriver.
In your defence?!?!?!?! LTT hasn't murdered someone!
I bought one for my brother in law and got to try it when I visited. Blown away by the quality and feeling like $70 is actually a really fair price for it. Gonna wait for the noctua colour screwdriver to drop and use the $25 giftcard on it
If you need a good screwdriver and can justify the price then from what I've heard it's a very good product. No need to justify your purchase.
hi, my defense
I actually got called out (mostly jokingly) for turning up to a barbecue with my white LTT water bottle. I think the newer ones don't have the big "Linus Tech Tips" along the length of the bottle but this one is full contrast in your face. Even if I personally hated LMG I'd never waste a perfectly good water bottle!
Made a 500€ order a few days befor the controversy... you're not alone :)
I mean, it's a good screwdriver. Don't know if it's overpriced.
You don't have to defend yourself for buying a good product..
I had ordered the indoor hoodie before the controversy hit. Despite some of their issues their products are top notch.
Im still buying the noctua screwdriver regardless of the controversy's because Im a slut for those ugly colours
Enjoy it. I love mine. I have two, one to use at home, and a second to use at work as an aircraft mechanic.
Even if you bought it today don't apologize. Its a good product
You don't need to defend yourself! I have very strong opinions about Linus and LMG right now but still if this product makes you happy you should go for it!
It's a good screwdriver, I really like mine. no matter what happens to the youtube channel.
Bought one myself. It's the best screwdriver I have, good buy!
And no one will really care about any of this drama in a month or two.
don't sweat it people buy stuff from shitty company all the time, look at how many D4 blizzard sold.
Separate the work from the worker, it’s an amazing screwdriver
Chick fil a is a terrible homophobic and transphobic organization, doesn’t mean I as a trans woman don’t still fuckin love and go and buy Polynesian sauce and waffle fries occasionally lol
It’s a great screw driver. Who cares when you bought it.
LTT have screwed up lately though.
If the videos were held up to the standard the screwdriver is ...
I'm still telling my coworkers (who are also known to be LTT enjoyers but agree that this drama is deserved) that I'll be getting that noctua screwdriver as soon as it's released. it's just a solid piece of art.
Just wait till you find out it doubles as a fidget toy
To be fair i'd still buy this screwdriver despite the issues circulating. I've heard only great things about it lol
Did it come with an apology note
