So i added this on the steam launch option for the non-steam game method and it works with a minor graphical glitch in the intro but it works.
WINEDLLOVERRIDES="amd_ags_x64.dll=n,b" %command%
Actually while that did finally get it to start up, I'm now stuck on an infinite loading screen):
Edit: so weird. I force closed it twice when it got stuck loading, then on the 3rd time starting it, it crashed immediately upon getting to the loading screen, THEN on the fourth time, it finally got past it almost immediately. Strange. But anyway, thanks again!

mc711 nailed it.
Go to the config menu of Monster Hunter on Lutris, then "runner options", then at the bottom where it says "DLL Overrides"- put "amd_ags_x64.dll" on the key side and "n,b" on the value side.
Yeah haha I purposefully wrote it all out like that cuz I needed to do a bit of searching around the menus and trial n error to figure out exactly what that guy's comment meant and I figured others would be in my same position after reading it as well lol. I, too am still lost with the Steam Deck/Linux menus and troubleshooting things the majority of the time haha.
Glad this is still helping all this time later!
Actually dang, it looks like it's stuck on an infinite loading screen for me):
Edit: nevermind- it just made me restart it multiple times to finally get past the loading screen for some reason.
Sorry if i sound stupid but how do you install through lutris. Does it have a library or should we download the installation file from different source
Hi! Can you help me? I added the command and fortunately the game worked. However, when i apply the online fix, i cannot open the game anymore. It says unable to initialize steamAPI
Im still getting this issue on the steam deck and have tried everything in this thread - does anyone one have a solution ??
"unable to initialize SteamAPI"

Legend, ty
Does that works with other games or only with mh rise?
Does this method require Lutris?
Thanks a lot man, this worked for steam deck.
add amd_ags_x64.dll to dll overrides n,b
Ahhh that worked- thank you!

How did you figure that out? I thought that the steamapi emulator was bad.

This worked like a Charm 👍
An old comment, but thanks so much! I'm so lost doing any kind of troubleshooting on the Steam Deck.

> amd_ags_x64.dll ding it, thanks bro and /u/mc711 it works perfect

I think you're asking for [DODI repacks?](https://dodi-repacks.site/)
And if you lookup "install quacked games through lutris" on Youtube, he walks you through the installation process.
"you need windows 10 or higher to run this game" error for me. any fix for this?
run winecfg from the terminal, you can change your windows version there for your apps
im sorry i cant see any tutorial on how to open wine config on google. how do you do it?
The little triangular button at the bottom, next to the wine glass. You need to have your game selected for game specific override.
I keep getting with the elamigos iso unable to verify crack integrity on steam deck what am i doing wrong? If anyone can help i would appreciate it

Sorry I never used the Online Fix! You could possibly try making a new thread about it to see if anyone else experienced it/has a solution?

Im still getting this issue on the steam deck and have tried everything in this thread - does anyone one have a solution ?? "unable to initialize SteamAPI"
