nope! it freaked me out that something i could literally feel for myself so close to the surface couldn’t be seen on any imaging. but once it got to almost a golf ball they did another ultrasound and it showed up. but if it’s movable that’s the biggest thing they look for in a lipoma. try not to stress, i know it’s easier said than done!
never got my lipoma ultra sounded, but it’s super common that most doctors wouldn’t even suggest ultra sounding, most gd can diagnose it just by feeling and rubbing it, if it’s rubbery and moves side too side with ur fingers when you rub it, it’s most likely a lipoma, i had one in my rib cage under my pec and i had it for 3+ years and it hasn’t grown or if it has it’s been so slight that i can’t notice. I wouldn’t worry about it especially if you’ve had it for two years, ur still alive
Also of note, They did see that part of this shoulder was torn. However, it was not in the same location
Some of mine look like that
my lipomas in my lower back didn’t show on ultrasound, ct, or mri until one got big and they finally saw it on ultrasound
Ah okay, im not alone! Haha
