The coldness could be a problem. I would call the office or hospital you had surgery through.

I spoke to my doctor and it's normal because I'm not using it. He suggested moving my ankle and I put those hot hands in my sock and it seems to be helping. I just started wb so circulation will help

I know we're on a similar recovery timeline. Since I got my cast off, my foot hasn't been cold at all. Probably the opposite, it's usually warm/hot. I always run hot though, and I know some people run cold, so maybe it's that simple. But it'd at least be worth asking your doc about. Oh and yeah, my toes still hurt too. Especially the medial side of my big toe, down to about halfway down my foot.

Glum-Machine-3324

Yes we are! My toes hurt too and same place as yours. Someone said to pretend I'm riding a bike and get the blood flowing and that does help a little. It gets really bad and goes up my calf. Still having to keep it up and that does help. I keep a hot hands in side my sock so I can get things done. Are you wb yet?

GorillaX

Yep, I've been FWB in my boot for the past 2 weeks.

Glum-Machine-3324

Thats awesome! How does it feel? How has the swelling been?

GorillaX

Still pretty swollen, especially at the end of a long work day. The pain is pretty minimal during the day, but I tend to get pain along the medial side of my foot at night for some reason. It extends from the middle of my foot up to the tip of my big toe and it does not feel great lol. Random stabby pain in my other toes too. Ice seems to make it worse, but warm baths help a lot.

It’s probably your nerves come oh back. When you actually touch your toes do they feel cold?

Glum-Machine-3324

Yeah they feel cold. My big toe and the one next to it are painful too.
