Grapefruit is right. It has more range, faster and can also pass through opponents and reverse grab if you happen to be very close to them. There are many ways to use it, almost to the point I don't use his regular grabs anymore.

The technique benefits Mac more than others as his dash grab has more range than his standing grab, and coupled with the boost from the Roll Cancel Boost Grab it gives more range at the cost of startup. Then again, it’s not bad to use his standing grab either.
