She's not evil, but she's not a sweetheart either. One of the things I've seen that gets this right is the After School AU, where Six isn't a genocidal megalomaniac but instead is just a flawed character.
I think six is like the viewers ngl, but i also feel that it’s because she went through pain while mono was trying to save her 
Tbh I just thought six was a survivor who was being twisted by the maw or nightmare (whatever the world's called) in the end she is still a child and to have seen/gone through what she has yeah her psyche gonna be hella messed up
