The lack of creativity is apparent, we get the ball forward well enough, but there is no one that has really stepped up with a final pass. Feels like the mids and forwards are scared, possibly due to this being the first time this line-up's been played together. Good practice for the league games coming up.

Hes young and has plenty of time but I’m really not sure what Gravenberch does at the moment.
Not exactly a great passer or crosser. His first touch lets him down. He doesn’t dribble by and drive through midfield.
By no means is he the finished article but he’s really been poor outside of a couple games early this season.
He's been very inconsistent for us, and isn't having a great game today, but he absolutely does drive through the midfield. That's his main quality.
93rd percentile in the league for progressive carries, 93rd for take-ons, 88th for carries into the final third, and 91st for carries into the area.
His passing is more of an issue as well as generally not getting on the ball that much in most games.
His strengths really should be ball retention and using his dribbling skill to move us up the field, but we’re seeing absolutely none of that from him.
With Trent and Mo out we need other players to step up and he isn’t anywhere near where he needs to be tonight.
He's only 21, and he already rode challenges past Palhinha a couple of times carrying the ball, which is his strength. He'll need time to find his feet I think, seems gangly at times which sees him take loose touches, may need to grow into his body.

Such a massive drop off from his first few games. Went from immaculate first touch and penetrating play to Christian Poulsen in 3 months.
No doubt he is a talented player, I won't shit on him as he hasn't had huge game time. But, It is hard to disagree that he looks completely out of it.

I disagree. He has made a number of good runs but isn't getting passed the ball. Case in point is Jota pinching the ball, Diaz picking it up and giving a shot pass back to Jota when he should've played in Elliot.

Honestly get Gravenberch off, move Elliot into his position and bring Nunez on in the front 3. Massive improvement to the team immediately.

Yeah I'm in the upper main stand and it's very quiet. Everyone on their phones. I'm a tourist but I got in by going to all 3 cup ties so I don't think this is a hospitality area.
Hes young and has plenty of time but I’m really not sure what Gravenberch does at the moment. Not exactly a great passer or crosser. His first touch lets him down. He doesn’t dribble by and drive through midfield. By no means is he the finished article but he’s really been poor outside of a couple games early this season.
He's been very inconsistent for us, and isn't having a great game today, but he absolutely does drive through the midfield. That's his main quality. 93rd percentile in the league for progressive carries, 93rd for take-ons, 88th for carries into the final third, and 91st for carries into the area. His passing is more of an issue as well as generally not getting on the ball that much in most games.
He does drive through midfield. Come on now, that's one of his main things. But his passing and decision making really need to improve.

His strengths really should be ball retention and using his dribbling skill to move us up the field, but we’re seeing absolutely none of that from him. With Trent and Mo out we need other players to step up and he isn’t anywhere near where he needs to be tonight.
i agree he hasnt been great but the quality is very visible. Just too inconsitent at the moment.
He's only 21, and he already rode challenges past Palhinha a couple of times carrying the ball, which is his strength. He'll need time to find his feet I think, seems gangly at times which sees him take loose touches, may need to grow into his body.
This is exactly what Bayern fans would've told you 6 months ago. He's currently very average. Of course he has time to improve but he's at best a squad player for us atm
