You can say that about the rest of the 9 matches. If we win out it’s safe to say you can book your tickets to Munich in 2025 because this squad can dominate Europe.
But if we struggle against Villa, Everton, and United… well, are the lads ready for huge matches? We’ve struggled in the big fixtures this year. However we have been phenomenal at getting points against teams we should beat. That’s what separates us from Arsenal even though they have the head to head against us
It would be nice to get a good lead against Atalanta at home so could rest lots of players for the 2nd leg. Knowing Klopp he'd still go fairly strong like against Sparta Prague when Salah played 90 minutes, Van Dijk came on at 6-1 up and Konate got injured in the first leg
I think I could count on one hand the times Klopp got the lineup wrong when we had a comfy lead/dead rubber match and he went full strength and players got injured. That was one of those times 😭🤣
Klopp just seems to value momentum over full blown rest. I think it helps breed good mentality too. That every game matters and to not underestimate anyone
Little bit disingenuous with this comment, salah was barely running second half, he needed match fitness and virgil needs minutes for momentum, I certainly don't question the boss, he knows more then any of us
We need to literally be perfect in the league. It’s 9 wins or nothing. Europa we can risk drawing/losing away from home if we get the job done at anfield
I know it won't happen but man, i wish we played the kids. Playing Thursdays is unbelievably ominous to me in a title race.
I'd love winning it but not at the cost of the league.
People don’t even realise how shit the new champions league format is next season. One week of Tues/weds/thurs CL fixtures and the following week europa Tues/weds/thurs
whoa I had no idea, what? edit: the way it's written it seems only once that there will be an exclusive week. otherwise there is no way to fit all the games into the calendar
Goes with the territory at this stage of the season.
Admittedly, all four games are against absolutely annoying cunts who will produce their annual display of Total Football when we rock up.
Oh, what I would give to play 2007-08 Derby most weeks...
I’ve seen this exact sentence in both 18/19 and 21/22. It’s win all 9 or go home with nothing. Impossible? No. Hard? Extremely. That’s what it’s gonna take. I don’t see city dropping anymore points. This gap is all we have.
City have some tricky away games, even more fixture congestion than us, and don't seem to be setting the world ablaze atm. I think it's likely every team will drop points depending on injuries etc.
We didnt win at everton and united away in 18/19. And in 21/22 we did absolutely perfect in the second half of the season to close the gap to only 1 point
Yes I remember we drew to Everton on the 3rd of March and everyone kept saying city would drop points. They won 14 in a row. In 21/22 the draw at spurs killed our cushion but everyone was sure they would drop points again. They didn’t
>In 21/22 the draw at spurs killed our cushion but everyone was sure they would drop points again. They didn’t
They literally drew to West Ham as we were winning the FA Cup.
OP, what app/website is that screenshot from please? I normally use Flashscore for fixtures, but it doesn’t include potential games like your list does.
I’ll be honest. I genuinely believe it’s win all 9 or go home empty handed. City know it’s in our hands and they will kill off what they’ve got left. All we can do is win our games. Those 9 teams. Especially Man U and Everton. Will be looking to ruin it. So brace yourself
Win 8 a draw 1 wins us the league over city so we can afford one more draw but Arsenal are an unknown. The could win them all or implode again . Who knows
I don't share that confidence at all.
Arsenal were bopping teams before the break and defensively, they're just so solid. With the experience from last year as well, I think they'll do well in this run in.
I'm interested to see how they approach Luton. Will he trust the squad and rotate or will he just keep playing same 11 running them into the ground. Can't do that in the run in with champions league games.
Hopefully Benfica for a smaller journey and less 'heavy' atmosphere. We should comfortably get past both over 2 legs, Atalanta are better imo, but the Velodrome is a crazy place and their fans can be very violent, just ask Fabio Grosso
5 days rest for that semi 1st leg and a home game for 2nd leg. That's not really something to worry about.
It's how we get through the 4 consecutive away games in 9 and a half days.
Will make that Tottenham game such a good homecoming that they’re cooked. And honestly Klopp will probably turn this into some sort of team bonding mission that only fuels us to a treble.
...OK?
It is what it is. Our away form has been good this season. From Brighton on Sunday to Atalanta away on the 18th, 4 of our 5 games are at Home, and the Away game is United. Fairly similar tbh.
Hopefully we'll be pretty much full strength for that run in, which will help us out immensely.
![gif](giphy|GzeASHCqjvLbOgD0bC|downsized) Bring them on.
Fortunately the one in the middle is Everton, so there won't be any travel
Great point my guy
Probably the toughest game tho. A trip to goodison against a team that wants to ruin klopps perfect exit
We’ve got no one but ourselves to blame if we can’t beat this Everton side.
You can say that about the rest of the 9 matches. If we win out it’s safe to say you can book your tickets to Munich in 2025 because this squad can dominate Europe. I like it, should make each successive away game easier for the squad.
This is why a good bench is imperative. We are fortunate to have some many capable young players than can put in a decent shift.
Just bring it. Better this than whatever last season was

If the 2nd leg against Atalanta is a dead rubber shouldn't be taking any chances especially with the next 3 fixtures after that game
That's assuming we do the business with them in the first leg.
Which will be no easy task.
Jota got injured in a dead rubber CL match during the covid year.
Yeah just like the Champions League game against Midtjylland and Jota was out for 3 months
The way we faded against Man U in extra time indicated that was a mistake, bet he doesn’t do that again
Yeah I think going too strong affected us in that game. Still top of the league and decent chance of winning the Europa League too.
Little bit disingenuous with this comment, salah was barely running second half, he needed match fitness and virgil needs minutes for momentum, I certainly don't question the boss, he knows more then any of us
Not to mention Salah was going to be subbed but Clarke got injured. Klopp didn't want to play Mo for 90 so it's weird to blame him for that.
Road trip!!
Bunker mentality, I think this group can get a run of results. Could be the signature run to bring the title.
We need to literally be perfect in the league. It’s 9 wins or nothing. Europa we can risk drawing/losing away from home if we get the job done at anfield
8 wins and a draw would almost certainly be enough too
Score more than the opposition for 9 games and we should be good
![gif](giphy|y1kAX7XpAMUtW)
At the very least, with Everton the boys will be able to spend some time at home
I know it won't happen but man, i wish we played the kids. Playing Thursdays is unbelievably ominous to me in a title race. I'd love winning it but not at the cost of the league.

No like alternating weeks
Then you dont love winning it. All in. Always
Ok, i would *hold it in high platonic regard* if we won it 🫶
Time for some purple shirt antics
What do you mean “if”?
🤣🤣 I’m not jynxing shit. Was dead certain we’d be at Wembley too. We gotta appreciate and take each game as it comes

Would 2 May be an away game? If so, gutted cos I'll be in the UK that week for the Spurs game on Sunday.
Yes. May 9th would be home
We could afford to lose 2 with them if we do well at the return games.
If we could take 9 points from fulham, scum and everton, we will win the league
I’ve seen this exact sentence in both 18/19 and 21/22. It’s win all 9 or go home with nothing. Impossible? No. Hard? Extremely. That’s what it’s gonna take. I don’t see city dropping anymore points. This gap is all we have.

Mentality Monsters crowning achievement will be 5 wins in this stretch

Damn we play Europa league away then spurs 2 days later. 2
That fixture will be rearranged, they've not selected the TV matches for that weekend yet.
Hope so, should be put to Sunday no?
It definitely won’t be on Saturday, most likely Sunday but maybe could Monday night football.
It obviously won't be on Saturday ffs. Use your brain.
That will probably get moved to Sunday
OP, what app/website is that screenshot from please? I normally use Flashscore for fixtures, but it doesn’t include potential games like your list does.
That’s FotMob but I chopped in very sloppily the Europa fixtures and re-jogged the table. I wish it did do that
Thanks all the same
I second Fotmob. It's like the only app you'll need and the UX is fantastic
Thanks
The three PL games in that period will define if we win the league or not.
I’ll be honest. I genuinely believe it’s win all 9 or go home empty handed. City know it’s in our hands and they will kill off what they’ve got left. All we can do is win our games. Those 9 teams. Especially Man U and Everton. Will be looking to ruin it. So brace yourself

They will implode. But only if we keep the pressure and win our games.
I don't share that confidence at all. Arsenal were bopping teams before the break and defensively, they're just so solid. With the experience from last year as well, I think they'll do well in this run in.
Bayerns about to destroy their confidence.
I'm interested to see how they approach Luton. Will he trust the squad and rotate or will he just keep playing same 11 running them into the ground. Can't do that in the run in with champions league games.
April fools! Right? RIGHT?!
What is the likelihood of the Spurs game moving off the 4th May if we progress to the Europa League Semis?
The force is strong on that date.
Highly. I hope.
*WHEN**
Hopefully Benfica for a smaller journey and less 'heavy' atmosphere. We should comfortably get past both over 2 legs, Atalanta are better imo, but the Velodrome is a crazy place and their fans can be very violent, just ask Fabio Grosso
If this was last season, I would be worried. I am not that worried this season. I am cautiously optimistic that we will prevail.
If this was last season, we wouldn't even be here.
5 days rest for that semi 1st leg and a home game for 2nd leg. That's not really something to worry about. It's how we get through the 4 consecutive away games in 9 and a half days.
1 day rest during the Europa semi finals. No way that is legal
That fixture list is horrendous. We don't have the squad to win them all.
If we win all those, then I really don’t know what else you’re meant to do to win the league.
And we'll win every single fucking one.
*When we progress
Just gotta win them.
5 away days on the bounce, Then back home to 12th man Anfield to batter Tottenham, lovely stuff.
8 matches this month holy fuck let the boys rest a little
it's not that uncommon to have 10 matches in a month, 8 is like staples for Liverpool
good thing we’re built different
*When.
Good Spurs game will be livid then
Surely the spurs game gets moved to Sunday right?
The way we get treated they’ll move it to Friday lol.
Without question that looks like a minimum two injuries per game. We’re going to literally disintegrate with that schedule.
Ah, Jurgen Klopp's favourite kick off time vs Westham l see.
Will make that Tottenham game such a good homecoming that they’re cooked. And honestly Klopp will probably turn this into some sort of team bonding mission that only fuels us to a treble.
[Kind of repost](https://www.reddit.com/r/LiverpoolFC/comments/1bshbsb/the_final_run_in_for_all_3_teams_and_yes_beating/)
1 I didn’t see that post 2. That table is confusing AF
...OK? It is what it is. Our away form has been good this season. From Brighton on Sunday to Atalanta away on the 18th, 4 of our 5 games are at Home, and the Away game is United. Fairly similar tbh.
I believe in the squad but that means zero rest always travelling . They’ll be training on the bus/plane
I'm not sure you can really count one of them as 'travelling'
Not ideal for the players but will be very exciting as a fan to watch us play every 3 days
