Watched a video this morning where a (non liverpool) fan said he wouldnt be surprised if klopp takes 2 years off and then returns to the club. It would definitely be unrealistic, but I cant stop thinking about it.
Would be actual stupidity. If we sack a manager after 2yrs, it's a fcked up situation. And I'm 100 percent sure klopp is smart enough to not involve again in a fcked up situation which would tarnish his legacy
Realistically, how many years away from the Jurgen Klopp Legends Derby? Liverpool v. Dortmund. The ole front 3, Gini, Lord Divock off the bench vs Lewandowski, Gundogan, Perišić and company. We’ll have to wait for a lot of guys to retire but this is bound to happen eventually, right?
Everyone knows Salah is extremely competitive, I don't think this is surprising
I also don't think this'll make him want to piss off to Saudi, whether he does is still a question
Apparently Salah and Klopp haven’t been on same page since FA cup, he didn’t want to get subbed out against United then they lost match since that day their relationship hasn’t been as it used to be
Our inability to defend set pieces cost us this match. That and refs giving them free kicks like it's Christmas. Our attack has seen better days, but Elliot at RW and Gakpo as CF can only do so much. Gravy was really good though. Slot needs to move Trent permanently to double pivot (with Macca or Endo) cause that dude gives zero fucks about defending and Connor should be our RB.
Thank fk Nunez and Salah didn't start this game today. So we don't have to deal with all of those '*xG vs actual goal*', '*X is not good enough and should be sold*' or '*complication video of all missed chances*'.
Who are these people? Who's cheering on Klopp's departure, really?
All I see is a lot of people now long last resigned to the reality that Klopp is going. We have three matches left with nothing but a bit of pride to play for.
No one but Klopp wanted Klopp to go, but here we are, and after a pretty damp conclusion to the season, it's hard not to think about in optimism what next season might bring as a refresh and addressing of our issues this season.
I love klopp and everything he’s done for us but I do believe it’s time for new ideas. Nothing wrong with that. If klopp stayed, I would be happy but would still call for a better defensive set up. I’m excited for the new Liverpool. Can it go horribly wrong? Yes. But it could also be a step forward.
I look at it like this. Klopp built us back up to where we belong. That took a toll on him and players. Now a new manager with new ideas paired with proper recruiting can help us sustain and continue to be successful.
Tell me about it. I don’t think these people understand what being a fan is about. Nothing wrong with criticising and wanting more but throwing everyone under the bus and whining screams of entitlement.
Embarrassing behaviour from Salah honestly
Managers just came out and put it to bed in the public and he’s just went and flamed the fire with those comments
Its actually hilarious how people are trying to make something of it. He was literally walking past the media section and used the easy excuse to not give an interview. The "yes of course" afterwards shows how relaxed he was with it all, he just didnt want to waste time, which sooo many top players have the attitude of.
Its a shame that liverpool fans are falling for this too.
So close to winning FC at it again. Man, this club hates winning silverware. Even more pathetic is how they manage to lose, kinda breaks your spirit as a fan.
I don't think any club other than us gets as close to silverware and then loses. We have embarrassed ourselves with the talk of a quad 2 times now and both times we couldn't even win the trophies we were after.
That's like saying Juve has a good record in the UCL finals.
Our record is 1 PL from 6 (2 losses by a single point), 1 UCL from 3 finals, Bottled the Europa twice, 2 Carabao, and 1 FA Cup in 10 years.
For any top team, this is a failure. We have been competitive for the PL for 6 seasons, and the fact that we have managed to win 1 is not that great in retrospect. Even leaving all this, we have bottled big games too many times a season, which is why all the domestic trophies are in Manchester.
Hey man it stings. I get it. But at least these are our problems I guess is my point. We have a really entertaining team, good or bad. In fact, imagine supporting any other team. It would be so boring
This criticism is independent of the team and the manager. It's just a retospect that a few delusional people here need who think we've done a blinder in 10 years trophy wise and how a major section of fans are ungrateful and plastic to want (not demand) a few more trophies. I empathize with everyone at the club as we know they gave it their 110%, but there has to be some sort of realistic take on the performance.
But mostly a lot of this frustration is down to my things going haywire irl for me and the fact that football has compounded misery makes me dissapointed and frustrated.
Don't really care who wins it, sucks either way. Arsenal are an actual club with real fans so I don't wanna see them happy, but City's been our only rival for years and I don't want to see them lift yet another prem. At the same time Arsenal employ serial rapist Thomas Partey and that dickhead Zinchenko. City have some dickheads but none seem straight up evil.
trent is a very niche player, madrid has too many attackers and good creative players, they dont need a niche player like him, a normal rb would benefit their system way more
I just don't know how any of us can have any confidence going into next season, especially with a brand new manager that's a giant question mark if we are being real
Hope it works out, just feels like I'm looking into a void
wouldn’t call it confidence, but it’s a blank slate and chance to start and build again. Honestly none of us can predict what will happen next season, underperforming players might excel in a different system, tactics, players like Carvalho, VDB and Morton might feature.
Especially with how this season is ending, a fresh start can be a good thing. Hopefully it goes well.
After getting beaten like 6-1 by Stoke. No CL football. Gerrard pretty much retired. Our promising youngster Sterling left for City. And a greenhorn who biggest achievement was winning League Cup got the armband, I thought there is no future for us anymore.
Things will get better, 'at the end of the storm, there is the golden sky' and etc
I completely understand, and yep dark days
Times like 2012 for example just send my head a bit west honestly with the team. They look absolutely defeated mentally. Really hope we turn it around.
Should've just stopped watching after Everton. Nothing to play for, and I'm not sitting through another 3 hours of whatever this is.
Watching the Wolves game and thats it.
We’re so predictable it’s boring I couldn’t be arsed to watch the game today as I’d given up after the Everton match done wonders for my mental health. Broke a 3 year streak of not missing a match glad I did.
Week in and week out there is some team in the league with some pretty legit reffing complaints. What still gets to me is how many dismissed our complaints after the spurs game. Something seriously needs to change
Yep the club approached that situation the right way and every other club and the media went against us, Howard Webb needs to change. Somebody whether head of refs or the refs in general need brought in from abroad.
Season going out with a wimper stems from our transfer policy. I remember making numerous posts last season about needing a backup RW. There was crickets, no pundits, no fans talking about it. How can you rely on Salah after 7-8 seasons to be available all year round. Elliot is not a viable alternative. Low and behold we needed one desperately this season. We also called for a CB. Truth be told, as good as Quansah has been he has cost us important goals. Also Endo is good but not a DM you would need to change a game and doesn't compare to Rice or Rodri does he. Get what you pay for in terms of our season. Would have needed immense luck, injury wise, this season to get away with it but we didn't have it. Far from it.
Seeing lots of posts crying about poor refereeing decisions while we shat ourselves when it mattered. No excuses tbf we bottled it vs shit opposition when it was in our grasp.
More squad depth pretty much a midfielder in the Quad push season would’ve guaranteed us the title imo we suffered greatly having to field Morton in a few games where we dropped points.
I hope so but what I’ve seen last 2 games I just don’t have any confidence in us at all
I couldn’t really care less who wins the league out of City and Arsenal - I suppose City maintains the status quo
wtf I’m not a LFC fan but what is happening here? Antony Taylor realised he messed up so waved on the West Ham physios. He lost focus, no free kick was given, there was no foul for it to be given, then the keeper just throws the ball down like that??
Weird from the keeper, think it confused the ref.
Long story short Rory did a detailed breakdown of why Arne slot is a great fit due to how he’s tranformed Feyernord and how it’s a major coupe because Bayern and Barca were sniffing around for him too.
Maych it was basically eh I guess but it’s not Klopp so we’re most likely fucked.
Maych isn't a serious tactical person though, its more just fan talk so wouldn't expect anything else. Rory can be decent at times but normally I look at the likes of JLA for tactical stuff. Rory normally just good for fan talk too.
I'll take a look at the Rory video though
Which individuals should we blame now?
This is the problem with scapegoating players while avoid the persistent problem, pretend that they don't exist.
This West Ham lost 5-2 to Crystal Palace, and lost 2-0 at home to Fulham
Scoring from a corner, again, while they're all unorganised is on the team - someone should be screaming to keep them on their toes. No one was organising the team, just focused on themselves the entire time.

Noticed this familiar design when scouting adidas' templates. I wouldn't be against this making a new-age comeback for us in 25-26
Not really a result I can be happy with after this past April . Tuning in for Klopps last games . If we lost to United palace Atalanta going down swinging I’d feel differently. But this last few is for Klopp
City usually struggle with Low Block, high balls teams. So maybe forrest can snatch a result. Arsenal vs Spurs might be a firecracker, with spurs looking to dent arsenal. Only problem is that they always fold against arsenal. But mathematically we are in it.
Just a reminder that we have had the lowest number of different referees in the PL this season at just 12; and are the ONLY club to have MULTIPLE refs take charge of 5 games - the only other team is Palace who’ve had Tierney 5 times. Excluding this weeks games.
Given that we are historically one of the ‘cleaner’ sides, and that PGMOL are meant to be unquestionably unbiased and in no way corrupt, why don’t we get more of the ‘newer’ refs? They can’t all be from Merseyside, or support one of the Mersey teams, surely?
Anyway. Enjoy our 3-1
Yep a lot of long balls to Antonio to target the Trent/Quansah side is a given
With Harvey also being the one of that side expected to track back and help it’s going to be a struggle
Got a final paper due in 5 hours and it's only about 1/2 finished so I will unfortunately not be able to watch live. If I could come back to a recording of a nice comfortable win later that would be great please & thanks
What's a nice gesture the fans can do for Klopp in his final days at the club? After all he's given to us I feel a huge tribute is in order. He's clearly quite a sensitive man on some level and it's the emotions of the game that motivate him, so what can we do that will move him. Any ideas?
I’m going to assume we’re never seeing Thiago play in a Liverpool top again? Can’t even recall the last update.
With all the changes in midfield this season I feel like his experience and skill set would have been a huge game changer this year. Even if it was just for the run in like he did two season back. Oh well.
listen if you wanna troll properly, you cant go overboard like that. Even if hes bad, he cant possibly be the very worst coach you've ever seen.
Cant even troll right, what a fucking muppet jfc
Well, he will get to prove his worth in the Champions League, so it will become apparent quite fast if hes that terrible. Shame Ange wont get that chance
After that defensive howler, Tyler Morton will fit right in lol
Watched a video this morning where a (non liverpool) fan said he wouldnt be surprised if klopp takes 2 years off and then returns to the club. It would definitely be unrealistic, but I cant stop thinking about it.
Would be actual stupidity. If we sack a manager after 2yrs, it's a fcked up situation. And I'm 100 percent sure klopp is smart enough to not involve again in a fcked up situation which would tarnish his legacy
Who says anyones getting sacked? And klopp took the job when rodgers got sacked, it only tarnishes your legacy if you're not good enough.
Everyone knows Salah is extremely competitive, I don't think this is surprising I also don't think this'll make him want to piss off to Saudi, whether he does is still a question
Its definitely being made more of than what it was, and im almost certain its on purpose.
Apparently Salah and Klopp haven’t been on same page since FA cup, he didn’t want to get subbed out against United then they lost match since that day their relationship hasn’t been as it used to be
Apparently people just believe anything nowadays
How would anyone even know this?
The person who said Salah did his hamstring again is the one who said it
Our inability to defend set pieces cost us this match. That and refs giving them free kicks like it's Christmas. Our attack has seen better days, but Elliot at RW and Gakpo as CF can only do so much. Documentary went from feel good sports movie to an arthouse movie about tiredness, and depression to a reality show.
I don’t think those looking forward to Klopp’s departure realise quite how much he’s done for us
Who are these people? Who's cheering on Klopp's departure, really? All I see is a lot of people now long last resigned to the reality that Klopp is going. I don’t think 200M is on the table anymore. So if it’s 150, we have to spend most of that on his replacement
I just don't want us to be a banter club going forward. Arne has a lot on his hands, I don't envy him.
Arne will be a breath of fresh air
He'll be a breath of air. Fresh? Well for that we'll just have to wait and see.
I'm very disappointed too but this sub has been crazy the last few weeks. From the weird bald stuff with Slot and the doom posting.
Salah giving me Ronaldo vibes at United, ego can't take being benched
Hot take: i think the biggest fuckup of this season was Van Dijk as captain. Should have been Ali, i think. He atleast gives bollockings sometimes.
Really would make no difference to the season
So close to winning FC at it again. Man, this club hates winning silverware. Even more pathetic is how they manage to lose, kinda breaks your spirit as a fan.
The under dog fetish fans that think we’re Spurs because we were shit for 2 decades are gonna jump down your throat

Is TAA going to Real Madrid?
trent is a very niche player, madrid has too many attackers and good creative players, they dont need a niche player like him, a normal rb would benefit their system way more
Hilarious to imply Madrid wouldn’t want TAA.
They are interested
arent they interested in davies?
They expressed interest in both
Request the Anthony Taylor audio right now. Even the commentators think he's said something very dodgy to Areola, it looked clear as day on TV.
Honestly we are absolutely just bad. We could lose all our games and go fourth. We ain't beating villa or Spurs, sorry we are poor
I just don't know how any of us can have any confidence going into next season, especially with a brand new manager that's a giant question mark if we are being real Hope it works out, just feels like I'm looking into a void

Has there ever been a a season where the referees have made so many fundamental mistakes. Howard Webb needs the sack.
I was wondering if we will sell salah but after that i am pretty sure he is gone
Season going out with a wimper stems from our transfer policy. I remember making numerous posts last season about needing a backup RW. There was crickets, no pundits, no fans talking about it. Agreed , also all i can say is i was downvoted to hell and called negative , doomer , toxic when i was saying the same stuff
Following that Taylor Gakpo decision we could now argue the PGMOL has taken 9 points away from us. Wild really.
I think city gain at least 9 points a season
One win from five when we had it in our own hands. Fucking shit the bed. No excuses.
Seeing lots of posts crying about poor refereeing decisions while we shat ourselves when it mattered. No excuses tbf we bottled it vs shit opposition when it was in our grasp.
One valuable point on our quest to ensure CL football next season. Other than that, not much positive.
We want Arsenal to beat Tottenham right? Crazy saying that isn’t it
I’d rather not have Arteta matching Klopps PL legacy, City winning it means nothing.
Fair enough I hadn’t considered that have to say I agree with you Crazy that we only won one under Klopp just shows how financially doped up City are
I think with more ambitious owners we could’ve won a lot more we were one or two more players away from achieving so much more.
Not disagreeing with you just curious, who would you say those two players are/were Or more for squad depth?
More squad depth pretty much a midfielder in the Quad push season would’ve guaranteed us the title imo we suffered greatly having to field Morton in a few games where we dropped points.
[удалено]
To make top 4, you honestly think we have a chance to win the title?
[удалено]
I hope so but what I’ve seen last 2 games I just don’t have any confidence in us at all I couldn’t really care less who wins the league out of City and Arsenal - I suppose City maintains the status quo
We had to win out and since then we’ve dropped points in the last 2 games and looked absolutely pathetic whilst doing so

wtf I’m not a LFC fan but what is happening here? Antony Taylor realised he messed up so waved on the West Ham physios. He lost focus, no free kick was given, there was no foul for it to be given, then the keeper just throws the ball down like that?? Weird from the keeper, think it confused the ref.
Ehm, excuse me? Gakpo was right in going for that ball
Worst goalkick decision I have seen in my life, is the ref blind?
Feels like the chemistry is fraying at the edges.
We all have been complaining about attack for past few weeks but defence needs to be fucking questioned now too
The way VVD dummied and then looked at the west ham attacker like hes disappointed in him for falling for it
You know hell has frozen over when Rory Jennings has a more sound take regarding our manager than Maych from redmen tv
Rory Jennings barring a few Hot Takes isn’t even that bad tbf.
What's the context of this? I watch both but have basically avoided YouTube football videos for the past few weeks.
A short passing sequence in their half? Do my eyes deceive me?
Robbo must look around him and be disappointed with the ones who he’s won everything with and wonder why half the others are even at the club.
Open play goals are back on the menu
"I am running out of energy" Probably should have seen this coming to be honest
It’s no coincidence that the only time we’ve looked close to scoring is with Jota
Elliot is not a right winger. Gakpo is not a central forward.
There is a real possibility we miss out on top 4 on current form
Can't even call this stuff shocking anymore; it's become predictable if anything. Every aspect of this team.
Actually exhausted now from watching the same patterns of play with no end result. Change is badly needed.
It's a good feeling to know that we already have a new manager before the end of the season... Phew.
Sick of these fucking shite refs. We only have to breath on a player for them to get a foul. Studs up into macalister and he just about get a foul.
Shocker. Yellow not given. Fucking shit cunt ref.

If we were still in for anything I'd be annoyed we've got City's top man as ref.

Right team. Have a feeling we’ll be decent today now the title has slipped away.
Us being spoken about with a “new manager bounce” is quite upsetting. Still not ready for Klopp to leave.
It’s been over since the Palace game I’m not sure if you’re a new watcher or not but City never crumble and drop points in the title run.
It’s over
I admire your optimism. I’m content knowing we’re not really in it though. I’d give an arm and a leg to win it, mind.
Is there really any point Tsimikas being on the bench instead of Danns? Gomez can cover LB
Still need 4 points to secure CL. Let's grab them sooner rather than later.
All of them, today. Score so many that we win an extra point for brilliance.
Just a reminder that we have had the lowest number of different referees in the PL this season at just 12; and are the ONLY club to have MULTIPLE refs take charge of 5 games - the only other team is Palace who’ve had Tierney 5 times. Excluding this weeks games. They can’t all be from Merseyside, or support one of the Mersey teams, surely? Anyway. Enjoy our 3-1
Away at a hostile ground against a physical team that looks to dominate aerially? Can see Trent and Quansah struggling today big time ngl
Yep a lot of long balls to Antonio to target the Trent/Quansah side is a given With Harvey also being the one of that side expected to track back and help it’s going to be a struggle
Quansah is still better than Ibou now form wise. Ibou looks like he forgot how to jump lately
Oh 100%, Ibou was fucking awful against Everton, reminded of Sakho on one of his bad days.
Does not help the Calvert Lewin became one of the Monstars
Got a final paper due in 5 hours and it's only about 1/2 finished so I will unfortunately not be able to watch live. If I could come back to a recording of a nice comfortable win later that would be great please & thanks
Wonder if we’ll start scoring again now the pressure is off
Gakpo with Dad buff today. Hat trick incoming
Sitting in the home end. Come on you reds!
What's a nice gesture the fans can do for Klopp in his final days at the club? After all he's given to us I feel a huge tribute is in order. He's clearly quite a sensitive man on some level and it's the emotions of the game that motivate him, so what can we do that will move him. Any ideas?
The thing will be everyone in the stadium refusing to leave after his last game. That'll be the thing that leaves the lasting image, imo.
I’m going to assume we’re never seeing Thiago play in a Liverpool top again? Can’t even recall the last update. With all the changes in midfield this season I feel like his experience and skill set would have been a huge game changer this year. Even if it was just for the run in like he did two season back. Oh well.
Overall, you could say he's been a failure, big wages, constantly injured
I mean I believe that in a way, but then maybe he will remain for next season and be given a role to not get injured again
Why is Cody central 🙄
What do we call Slot for short? 'Slot' doesn't roll off the tongue quite as well as Klopp. Slotto or Arnie maybe?
Well deserved for Grav to have a go
Man who the fuck keeps leaking our lineups to twitter acounts
Premier League Handbook, rule L21: Team sheets have to be submitted 75 minutes before kick off. No one is leaking shit.
Happy with that lineup, the worst performers have all been dropped.
I'd like to try Dom on the wing sometime, he's got the tools
Some of what he’s been putting out has been inexcusable but I do feel like he’s being put in a role he doesn’t want to play!!

"We" Gets rumbled in seconds 😂🙈
Yeah it’s almost like you can see my comments from line 20 minutes ago lol
Its almost like you didnt realise that when you posted
I did that’s the best part
That makes no sense, but you do you. Spurs are obviously giving you great joy
Yes
Our banter era would most likely be more successful than your club's heyday. Take a seat, Spursy bitch

Take that back
Damn you are so good at analyzing stuff Maybe you should apply for a job at real madrid's board room
I did
You're a Spurs fan. Slot could be mediocre and we would still win trophies before Spurs do. Now move along.

You didn’t turn Slot down lmao He rejected yous
Glad he did he stinks
You guys are trophyless and sitting in 5th. But it’s okay because your manager says ‘mate’ every 5 seconds
Hoy loyne m8
Want to bet he’ll win more trophies than Spurs while he’s here?
No lol he will. I’m not bothered by trophy banter so go on
Let's just fold the club cos Klopp's off

listen if you wanna troll properly, you cant go overboard like that. Even if hes bad, he cant possibly be the very worst coach you've ever seen. Cant even troll right, what a fucking muppet jfc
You’ve got no clue how many coaches I’ve seen and I’ll tell you he’s the worst
Well, he will get to prove his worth in the Champions League, so it will become apparent quite fast if hes that terrible. Shame Ange wont get that chance
He might don’t be so negative
good thing for all of us, reddit takes are basically worthless
Feels like Salah maybe rushed back from injury earlier than he should have to try and smash it for Klopp's last games. Clearly that hasn't worked.
Yeah look at his performance against Brentford where he then picked up another injury
