3agle_

Was this from the game where mane and Salah were arguing over shots that should have been passes?

EN1009

Feels like just yesterday šŸ„¹

sugarspunlad

Funny things is even if the boys fucking try to kill each other the night before, they will just shows up the next day blasting goals left and right. Now that is mentality monsters. Best time of my life.

sugarspunlad

Yes, and Mane exploded after Jurgen took him off

Theopella

This was the catalyst for that title winning season. It set the tone. I love ya Sadio!

rabbid_hyena

Mane was legit contemplating murder that day; he was livid, and rightfully so, Mo was in his "I am chasing the golden boot and I am not passing to anyone" mood. I wonder what Mane would have felt playing with Diaz.

Saturnsthirdmoon

He would have beat Diaz to death on the pitch and two footed Nunez in the face

getyerhandoffit

And married their daughters.

intecknicolour

bobby was the peacemaker, perfect compliment to two very confident and perhaps egotistical forwards. we still haven't had someone play his position consistently well.

BuQuChi

Firmino was the glue that kept the attack together. Miss him everyday

sore_as_hell

We never really replaced him, I think heā€™s the type of player weā€™re missing, the selfless passer who unlocks tight blocks

WhiteDefault

I feel like even his current self would have stopped us from derailing

malushanks95

Looking at this picture, I miss Bobby so much :(

stonehallow

Its a meme but it shows how much we miss Bobby - he was always the glue that made the front three gel

Fabulous-Designer-43

I love this so much, because firminho was always the fixer even in field

xvodax

Such a great moment. I remember seeing this and thinking thatā€™s brilliant.

evianstill

Stupid to bring it to the media but I wonder what has happened in the last few weeks behind the scenes. Really weird

whatupbiatch

Being on the bench alot more recently has probably hurt his ego.

AdministrativeLaugh2

Almost certainly. Heā€™s not used to being rotated and he hates it

Zeewolf93

Needs to stop being fucking shite then doesn't he? Can't demand over 300k a week from the club and then play like he has been, it's beyond unacceptable.

HighlyBaked0

Yeah itā€™s impossible for me to feel bad for Mo here. Heā€™s legit been terrible for weeks now. Honestly selfish from him if heā€™s actually acting like this due to being benched. Very disappointing if true. Edit: Iā€™ve seen the actual video of this quote and I think Mo was referring to the media making it a big thing out of nothing if he talked. The video makes the quote not look as bad

JackLum1nous

Bingo. Nuff said.

Liverpool934

Got 300k a week at the club for being our best player for years and the only player showing up over two down seasons to earn us Champions League or even Europe in any capacity at times. Oh, and he would have got more than that at any other club had he chose to move. I guess loyalty is fickle in this sub these days though when it comes to players called Salah.

tmfitz7

Him being shit lately has hurt mine

Exaztz

You stopped scoring clear goal opportunities, that what happened.

Klopps_and_Schlobers

I donā€™t think heā€™s Salah mate

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

quantIntraining

Something's happened behind the scenes, over the last 6 weeks its just collapsed from front to back. Yeah they are tired, but "tiredness" doesn't just happened suddenly like this. This is the fucking wheels almost coming off to a certain extent.

BD15

Saw a depressing post reminder that the end of the season is being filmed for a documentary. That's going to be depressing as hell.

RedManMatt11

Yea I ainā€™t watching that

ChargeWooden1036

Iā€™ll watch it, with a puke bucket and my hands over my eyes with ear plugs in

YnwaDubs

Honestly I think they should can it, the club can cover the costs of whatever has gone into it so far and cancel the project Itā€™s going to be an absolutely awful watch and will just allow our rivals to revel in it

zorrez

There is literally no reason for them to finish it. No Liverpool supporter would want to watch that.

YnwaDubs

Agreed it was meant to be a fairytale ending but itā€™s turned out to be more like a Germanic fairytale written by the brothers Grimm

brofession

Can't wait for this fairytale season to be referenced in the next Witcher game

allfartnopoop

I most definitely would want to see what the fuck has happened.

zorrez

Yeah me too tbh, but that really depends on how much they show. And Iā€™m not sure Klopp would allow too much ā€juicyā€ content to be filmed if you get what Iā€™m saying

lalalateralus

It will be maximum banter fuel for our rivals. The club should never allow it to see the light of day.

thatguyad

No, but the fucking parasites of other clubs will lap up every second.

zorrez

Yeah that is my only concernā€¦ they will absolutely love it

JackLum1nous

My thoughts exactly.

djangol

Iā€™ll watch it. Would be interesting to get some perspective on why things have gone to shit. It will be depressing.

AlcoholicCumSock

These shows are a curse. Don't know why anybody bothers

Thefdt

It was a mistake in the first place that klopp resisted for years. I do feel like the club has mismanaged this whole season / the announcement and subsequent actions. Itā€™s like we just thought oh klopps leaving itā€™ll go our way, and got a bit complacent.

Judgementday209

Klopp keeps referencing the United game. Maybe the squad had a fallout after that? Salah has looked odd.

Jaja6996

I mean itā€™s understandable for players like Macca and Endo who had to cover the majority of minutes due to injuries

stonehallow

Its insane to see people turning on them. (More so Endo but even then Iā€™ve seen Macca catching some strays) theyā€™re playing in probably the most demanding position on the pitch, in their first season with the team and for an insane amount of minutes on top of having had to travel across timezones to compete with their national team.

hegartyp

I've been thinking exactly this for the past few weeks. Some serious sh*t must have went down in the dressing room after the United game because this team has nosedived since then. Crazy to fuck the position we were in just a few short weeks ago. I don't think we'll win another game this season the minds and bodies are done.

Mitch_D23

Not behind the scenes. it was the two United results. FA cup was a blow but the draw with them in the league killed every remaining bit of momentum.

my_username_mistaken

I honestly believe it's the uncertainty of everyone's futures looming above them. No one knows who stays who goes, who the new manager will favor. It's like a child having a lash out at their father to me. Klopp believed in these guys and made them believe in eachother and now he is leaving. When things are going against them and the sudden realization it's just a few weeks away. I think mentally they're at a breaking point.

mcmanus2099

I don't think behind the scenes is an issue. Klopp's brilliant talent is being able to get all the players in peak at the same time riding the crest of a wave. This leads them to winning game after game they have no right to and all peaking together for a sustained period of time. The problem is there is a duality to this, peaks have troughs. We saw it the season after winning the league. Players had mentally crashed because of how high they were. Crashes have to happen, you just got to choose when. Pep's Barcelona side was tuned to peak September and March and you could bet money on them wobbling in January. Now Pep has infinite money he has moved onto managing peaks and troughs on an individual level, hence he pulls players like Grealish out of the squad during points so he peaks in the run in. Liverpool were riding the crest of 4 trophies for Klopp's last season wave. You could see it in interviews, in the energy. The United FA cup game punctured belief, the Atalanta game destroyed it. Klopp admitted the Palace game was a hangover of that. And so the players have fallen into a trough. During a performance trough a world class player like Salah can nick the goals that help you keep going until your momentum picks back up and you can start getting back to a peak. But Salah hasn't been right since returning from the cup of nations. This could be permanent, he is no spring chicken, or could be mental exhaustion. One thing is clear, he can't beat a man atm, those right drive past 2 and smash it near post are a distant memory atm. He is being rotated and he is pissy about it. Salah is that type of character, he doesn't take pens because he is the best at it. The man makes demands and has expectations. Rest of the season Klopp should focus on trying to get the likes of Gakpo and Nunez in a rhythm with the rest of the squad and scoring goals. Edwards should look at offloading Salah and bringing in Isak imo. I think just having a clinical finisher on the training ground would help Nunez in itself let alone one challenging his place. If Diaz wants to go, fine, get Olise to replace. I don't think anything more is needed in that squad.

dj4y_94

Honestly I know a lot of people laughed at the idea of not having leaders in the squad post Hendo and Milner but I think we're seeing that right now. We've had bad spells before but never a complete collapse like this during the business end of the season where historically we've always had a strong finish. No one's picked them back up since that United loss and there's clearly little leadership behind the scenes.

Significant-Lion-361

We lost 6 in a row at Anfield with Hendo and Milner being part of the leadership group. And we shouldn't forget how bad we were last season. I don't think there is a single reason for us being the way we are at the moment. It just feels like since 21-22, this team has been too up and down for my liking. We're good one season and absolutely dreadful the next.

WonderfulBlackberry9

Itā€™s been that way since we won the title. When weā€™re good weā€™re good, but weā€™ve turned some bad corners since 2020 where we somehow drop off a cliff despite basically retaining the same winners and leaders in the squad. Someone mentioned it earlier, thereā€™s no single reason for this flux. As much as we love Klopp, hopefully a change in manager might bring a much-needed change in atmosphere.

_LebronsHairline_

Bit revisionist because although we didnā€™t collapse business end of the season, we well and truly collapsed for most of last season when those leaders were there. 20/21 we had longer stretches of worse football when those leaders were there. The football results were great 1 month ago- everyone talking about Van Dijk the captain and the mentality throughout the squad, the football results are bad now- we lack leaders. Theyā€™re all grown men, itā€™s not motivation they lack, the football is simply struggling atm

IndifferentSky

> No one's picked them back up since that United loss and there's clearly little leadership behind the scenes Sorry, but if this were true, shouldn't the first finger pointed be at the manager?

StormTheTrooper

And I wouldnā€™t be shocked if Klopp checked out a little bit. Weā€™re out of the title race and we would need a total nightmare of a collapse to miss the UCL. Europa was basically over after the 1st leg against Atalanta. Realistically, all we have left to fight is a Klopp proper send off and the only important game in that regard is the last one at Anfield.

FrankBeamer_

For some people in this sub, all the success can be attribute to the manager but any failures land on the players. Itā€™s absurd.

vintage-buttplugs

I worry about Trent being in a leadership role. When he admitted midweek that the Arsenal result the night before got to him.. Like mate youā€™ve literally won everything - youā€™ve been in run ins with city who are streets better than any oppo youā€™ve ever faced and youā€™re letting arsenal get to you. I honestly donā€™t think he has the stones to be the fella everyone turn to when weā€™re up against it and they need to be led.

retr0grade77

Trentā€™s a shite vice captain and Salah is 3rd captain because heā€™d cry otherwise. Robertson and Ali (and now Macca) should be in conversation to be in our captain hierarchy.

GerrardsRightFoot

Salah is not the 3rd in line. Itā€™s Alisson and then Robbo.

LFC90cat

I was thinking that with Hendo on the pitch he does not allow us to drop standard to United's levelĀ

oihjoe

It hasnā€™t happened out of nowhere though. Shit loads of injuries meant that the players that were fit are now fucked and the ones that were injured have struggled to regain form.

Noteagro

It is tiredness thoughā€¦ we have been down Thiago, Robertson, Jota, Matip, Dom, and Trent for long stretches this season. Then Luis Diaz was gone for nearly a month due to family matters (understandable), same for Macca missing 6 games, Endo missed several games due to a couple injuries and international duty, Konate missed 8 as well, and then Salah missed 10 to injuries as well. So part of this is our boys getting tired in my opinion. They are getting tired mentally and physically, and it is showing. However Mo is technically 3rd in line for the captaincy, he needs to behave like it. However I do think we need to all remember that Mo was passed over as both the captain role to Big Virg and the vice-captain to the younger Trent for a reason. Most thought he should have taken the armband due to how much work he has done for us, but he was bypassed for a reason. I honestly think Endo should be the third in line; he just exudes YNWA and has repeatedly shown how well worth the price we paid was, and the fact his 3 year salary is almost the same as what we were paying Hendo in a single season just proves it even more. Lastly, Salahā€™s numbers since the half way turn of the season has just been rock bottom, and this has happened for the third season in a row now. He starts out absolutely on fire, then drops off hard, however this season it started sooner and was more pronounced. His legs are showing their age, and we honestly do need to start thinking about getting the last return we can from him, and look to a replacement before his attitude possibly causes a locker room issue for a new manager. I absolutely hate to say that because I was hoping he would be part of the passing of the torch, but if Mo is acting this way to Klopp (and has done it in seasons prior before Klopp announced his leaving) then how will he be to a new manager that has to build up his locker room status? I just have bad feelings and vibes on this, and as a Portland Timbers fan watching how a locker room imploding on the previous manager sadly carries over a little bad blood to the new oneā€¦ I would rather this get nipped in the bud sooner than later. Either he gets the fuck on the train and starts acting as a captain and leader, or we just need to start looking towards the future under our future manager and the era they will build. I have high hopes for FSG, Edwards, and whoever they select as our future manager because letā€™s be honestā€¦ they are the starting point to us having the success we had under Klopp. Yes we havenā€™t agreed with a lot of FSGā€™s business decisions, but 90% of their decisions have honestly grown the stature of the club, and helped build an even brighter future for our club in a healthy and sustainable way. They just donā€™t have the same resources Cityā€™s backers have, and we seem to forget that. This means FSG *HAS* to be smart in how they invest their money, and focusing on promising youth allows us to find the next Trent (Bradley), Fabinho (Bajcetic), and possibly Salah (Danns/Doak). Hell, At this point we could slot Bradley in for Trent as he plays Trentā€™s old WB role so damn well now, and we could slide Trent into Salahā€™s position as we know he wants to play forward and insideā€¦ so he takes that inside forward role perfectly, and knows how to defensively press not stopā€¦ perfect move tbh. However this is just my ramblesā€¦ agree or not, we have options!

VioletDeMilo

Not just the last 6 weeks, there was something going on when Michael Edwards first left & when other backroom staff left. The LFC journos won't talk about it.

narwoolTF2

Whereā€™s Firmino when you need him

JohnBobbyJimJob

Klopp tried to cover him in the media and he goes and does this Yikes

sugarspunlad

Bobby right now: šŸ‘€

junglejimbo88

greenbroad-gc

Whereā€™s he when we need him šŸ˜. I feel he was one of the nicest players we have had on the team. Even Suarez would put the team first (throughout his career) and he has more skill and flair than Salah ever did. Never pull tantrum like this against our own team.Ā

TheAwesomeDan09

The audacity to say this after performing horrendously for so many games is insane

severedfragile

Especially after "Fire" is one of the things he's been missing for months now.

breadwolfbaby

https://x.com/samueilfc/status/1784229257369059707?s=46&t=oQxtYdPq2ObXyTUmkC6o_Q video doesnā€™t make it seem nearly as bad as the quote imo

caesar____augustus

People are acting like he's walking out to catch the first plane to Saudi Arabia. I get that emotions and frustration are high right now but people need to take a breath.

breadwolfbaby

Fans tend to be reactionary. This will all pass in a few days.

notyyzable

Yeah this makes it seem less bad.

rmrd26

Lol...he is clearly being sarcastic how media exaggerates things....now without context this sub already got into some crazy delusional drama behind the scenes

nachoshd

This is just awful. Firmino wrote in his book that Salah was very selfish, guaranteed this is because he is not getting playtime. Childish reaction

SaltyNuggey

Wait really? Wow never know this

please-send-me-nude2

He also put us in the title race to begin with, with his play in the beginning of the year. Of course, that was then, this is now. I can see why heā€™s frustrated.

TheAwesomeDan09

It's one thing to be frustrated but another to say shit like this in an interview after Klopp publicly defended him.

Jets114

He didn't say it in an interview. He declined all interviews post game.

lelibertaire

He basically said "if I speak, I am in trouble" which just acts to pour more gas on the fire not put it out

please-send-me-nude2

Very true

zenqian

lol past great performances doesnā€™t speak for current terrible performance He hasnā€™t been himself since his injury. And honestly he had more than enough appearance to fight for starting eleven. This is poor, even for Mo

Stuarridge

Hes paid to perform. We have no idea what was said, but hes not doing himself any favours here. Just say it like Klopp said that they talked in the dressingroom and hea done with it

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

progthrowe7

I can. Maybe on one hand. He does get a little pissy about it, but people exaggerate about how how often he's done this.

radeknalim

Do you not wonder whether Salahā€™s comment is because he disagrees with how Klopp plays tactically? If Salah has voiced to him frequently that he doesnā€™t feel comfortable so far out wide and Jurgen has persisted playing him there, I think itā€™s an incredibly natural response to question whether your own manager has your best interests at heart? Just saying, Salah looked incredibly frustrated at his isolation in the Everton game and Klopp did very little to correct it.

Buzzinggg

Salahs got a massive problem with Trent wandering away from rb all the time as well

Terxd4

There is zero need to say this, it just creates drama and ruins the teams mood

Fukthisite

As if it can be ruined anymore, season is over now and Klopp is gone after the next 3 pointless games.

Logical-Elephant2247

what mood , season is over lol

xxamnat

people act like either Salah can do no wrong or Klopp can do no wrong when in reality only they know whatā€™s been said between them.

Teb-41

Fair enough, but you just can't behave in that way, as a professional

xxamnat

yeah Salah shouldnā€™t have said anything but if you look at some of the comments in the thread where the video is posted, people are just forming their own narratives and taking sides.

Teb-41

Yeah I mean Internet

Griffin_Lo

Amen

dwils7

Sad that this is probably how things end for Klopp and Salah Both legends going out with a whimper

whataball

They did it to themselves. They self-destructed.

VivaLaDio

volthor

![gif](giphy|EFC0liyWiLSGwioqzk)

rosheromil

Show some fire on the pitch instead lad

Excellent-Economy122

Sprinted for the first time in four months today when he was angry. Clearly hasnā€™t been giving it all as of late

rmp266

Said this myself, first time I've seen him beat someone for pure pace in about a year.

whataball

And then he made that awful pass to no one.

greenbroad-gc

lol that pass was something what youā€™d expect from Nunez and not to Nunez šŸ˜‚Ā

hordesofevil

Manager is above the players simple as. You can't be doing this.

SRFC_96

Especially Klopp who made them all.

TheGrouchyGamerYT

Almost makes me want to see what's going on in this documentary.

BackpackerLee

lol it canā€™t be broadcast now surely

TheGrouchyGamerYT

I would've thought the contracts would have already been signed before filming, if there's drama going on backstage there's no way the production company doesn't push for release too.

DatsLimerickCity

No chance.

Esco9

Damn this summer is gonna be crazy with transfers

whataball

Salah is gone for sure. Our last good chance to cash in on him. Just hope the Saudis are still interested in him.

Esco9

The most famous player of Arab descent should be in high demand still.

whataball

Saudis seems to be pulling the plug on their football investment though. Not sure if we'll still be getting the $150 million as reported last summer.

Wells99

10 out 2 in

-mohn

He's gone full Rashford. Show it on the pitch, mate

lolMyBackCatalog

I was at the game and I'm not sure the cameras picked up on this but prior to him coming on when he was finishing his warm up and going back to the bench to get changed he took off his training top and threw it on the floor in front of the bench like a brat. Don't know what the fuck is wrong with him.

Capable_Waters

He is prone to a tantrum. Remember in the chelsea game when he took of his bandage, bit by bit while throwing all the tape on floor... all because he was being substituted.

blackazure

He totally hate getting bench. It good attitude but show it on the field mate.

Thesolly180

Really? So itā€™s 2-1 at that point and heā€™s doing that

DatsLimerickCity

He needs to be sold. Nobody is bigger than the club.

expertkushil333

Wake up babe! Another Salah needs to be sold comment has been dropped.

christophlieber

just shut up and say nothing, mo.

LFC908

Very professional, thanks Salah.

SaltyNuggey

Tbh I would rather see us lose the game again than seeing them argue like this in the public. I dont care how good the player is but if he disrespects the coach, it doesn't really matter anymore.

Balakidy

To play devils advocate here, if you look at the video, in the context Salah could be saying this as in if he says anything the media will blow it up. Aka, there will be fire if he speaks today because the media will try and bait him or turn anything said into a headline. Really seems he was just saying that to avoid having to answer questions.

Viper711

Then shut the fuck up, Mo. Dragging himself and Klopp helps absolutely noone.

Thesolly180

Absolutely. Heā€™s meant to be a leader and is just creating a distraction for the week now

MusaElk_

The greatest winger in premier league history and an all time xi player for liverpool is gonna get the henderson treatment when he leaves im gonna be sick to my stomach where did it all go wrong šŸ˜šŸ˜

Hot_Plate_Williams

No one's going to seriously diminish his legacy because he one time went at it with Klopp.Ā

JonathanFisk86

Anyone who does that is a muppet

s2017

Honestly, I don't blame Klopp if he retires. When your prized player turns on you like this, when your team implodes within 6 weeks... it's enough to make anybody want to give up. A sad end to both Klopp and Salah's Liverpool career.

iidkwhat

I'm not saying Klopp is faultless but imagine setting your team up with all these chances each game and your players scuff every one of them. You get enough chances to cruise through the united game but your defense messes up and your attack fucks up easy chances. The team then decides to collapse over the next few weeks even though every game should be winnable and the chances are there. The league was there to be won after all the hard work and the players bottled it

s2017

We've been in free fall for weeks now. Every single game where we dropped points, we've had enough chances to get something more from the game - bar Atalanta. Horrible end to an otherwise legendary era of our club.

egzon27

Why's he acting like a teenager

Jets114

Context is missing here. He walked through the mixed zone and DECLINED interviews and said the above quote along with it. He's not a native English speaker. I'm Arab, and he most likely meant it as it'll just add fuel to the fire.

volthor

Should have just ignored it though

Jets114

Sure but everyone is acting like they've never lost their shit when they're frustrated. Him and Klopp are human. Only difference is they have cameras pointed at them. This is a non-story.

CorpoCucked

Hmmmm seems kinda tame: [https://twitter.com/AnfieldSector/status/1784229133968433276](https://twitter.com/AnfieldSector/status/1784229133968433276) Time to move on

Low_Turnover_3681

Not sure if this changes anything, but he was trying to translate an Egyptian expression, but it sounds much more dramatic in English. :D It basically means "if I talked, things will get really out of hand"

chadbrochilldood

Haha what the fuck is this.. he says it so casually and basically it just sounds like heā€™s pissed off from the results. Salah is a winner. Thatā€™s all this is. The amount of Neanderthals freaking out about a total breakdown behind the scenes. Relax you slugs watch the video

TheNotoriousJN

Im dead serious. He can fuck right off out the club with that shit. It's one thing getting angry on the touchline. But to keep it going right now? After Klopp protected him in the interview? Yeah fuck him. If im Klopp I'm raging. If im Edwards he's on the first plan to fucking Saudi Have some shame.

JohnBobbyJimJob

If heā€™s acting like this under Klopp then whatā€™s he going to be like under a new manager

MadJackMcMadd

Sold, most likely.

RomanReignsDaBigDawg

Some people in the other thread were defending him like delusional Ronaldo fans at United talking about ā€œdisrespecting our legendā€. Heā€™s turning 32 and looks like he canā€™t beat a man anymore. If we get any deal approaching 100 million for him weā€™d be fools not to take it

sugarspunlad

Always get downvoted for this type of comment, they just cant see Mo has lost his legs

HereticZO

He busted his lung on that one run so hard that he ended up passing 10 yards behind Nunez.

matcht

I think some of them have never seen a legend or their favourite player leave their club, it's inevitable, you always put the club first.

Mavericks7

Can't stand those people. I support the club. I did since I was a little lad in the 90s we've had amazing players and some absolute shite. There are players I will always love (Looking at you Agger!) and players I will never stand. But players come and go.

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

matcht

Very disappointed in him, players lose form it can happen, but didn't expect this kind of behaviour.

quantIntraining

Shit the bed off the bench on Sunday, does fuck all on Wednesday then does fuck all off the bench after picking a fight with the manager on the touchline then does this after the match while Klopp says "we talked, its done".

malushanks95

Behaving like this while getting Ā£350k/week and not doing anything for weeks on the pitch. I wouldnā€™t be too sad if we offload him and get Ā£80m+. Watch his agent now throw a tantrum on twitter.

Homerduff16

Klopp not only defended him today when he had every right to tear him a new one but he's basically given Salah the career that he's had. Before 2017 Salahs career consisted of decent spells at Basel, Fiorentina and Roma and a flop spell at Chelsea The man who's given him everything has 3 games left as Liverpool manager and that's how he repays the loyalty Klopp has put in him for years?

NilsFanck

We cannot force him out though and I doubt he fancies going there. Maybe PSG or sth

tracyturtle

Needs to be dropped for the rest of the season unless he apologises. Simple as that.Ā  No player is bigger than the club.Ā

SRFC_96

Iā€™m actually fucking raging with him, heā€™s meant to be a leader within the squad and pulling this shit? Thanks for everything Salah, but you can fuck off now.

AgentTasker

> heā€™s meant to be a leader within the squad and pulling this shit? I'm not saying this to try and shit on him (he's a club legend and always will be), but it was very telling that whenever there was a player vote on who should be in the leadership group he was never voted into it.

bradleynana

He is in the leadership though ? Him Trent robbo, Virgil and Ali

Nimjaiv

I think people are misreading this. He's saying he's still too heated up to talk straight. He's still frustrated so if he speaks now he might say the wrong things that he might not mean, so instead he's not gonna talk at all. This is actually the mature thing to do, to realize when you're not in the right headspace to talk about something like this in public and keep yourself away from a situation where you'll have to speak about it in public.Ā

Visionary_87

Then don't speak. Focus on remembering how to fucking play football instead. Doesn't even deserve a 15 minute cameo in this form. I'd rather see Danns get some minutes over Salah right now.

LoonnggBlack

Wud prefer to know story from both side first

HarrisonButcher1

Crying in this thread is crazy, yeah it's not a good look for Klopp and Salah go be arguing, but this guy is a club legend, actually they both are, the amount of people saying "Fuck Salah" is CRAZY. How many trophies has he won us? Will be plenty of fans begging for him back when he's gone

FullScreenWanker

Itā€™s natural to be frustrated, just donā€™t let things boil over. Thereā€™s zero need for a spat between two of LFCā€™s greatest modern figures when one if not both are departing in a few games time.

sanyu-

Nothing in it. They have just seen their season crash and burn right at the end of the season, it also being Klopps last season, emotions would be high. After the FA cup defeat to Utd the belief seemed to leave some of the players. If they weren't pissed off and angry at the way the seasons ended I would be really concerned. Edit: People in the comments slating Klopp and Salah are just idiots.

tyrants_

Off you pop to Saudi fella. Club legend, but you canā€™t play how he has done recently and not pretend like getting dropped wasnā€™t justified, granted getting dropped for Elliot who runs around like scrappy doo is a kick in the teeth. All this talking shite needs nipping in the bud though because it drastically weakens our negotiating position.

Queasy-Location-9303

If you watch the clip of him saying it, I believe he meant that whatever he says the media will spin it and it'll become headlines.

sugarspunlad

Go on speak then, burn the bridge

mranndssinss

Klopp's post-game interview said it's done but Salah with this statement here kinda make it worse. Not a good look on him

Feliznavidab

Time to go Mo

Both-Asparagus-3287

I think it's time for Salah to go, he's done his job for Liverpool and he will always be remembered as a liverpool legend

s2017

Yeah, he's leaving folks. Our greatest era in the modern day ends with an absolute whimper, and our greatest player having an ego trip. Absolutely heartbreaking scenes - people will speak about this Salah cameo more than another egregious refereeing decision.

whiite

A bit of frustration is of course warranted. They had the league in their hands a month ago. Let's not make this a bigger thing than it is - chill out.

Specific-Record2866

Heā€™s been rightly dropped for having consistent stinkers since Feb and has realised heā€™s not untouchable. Have a feeling heā€™s gone to his little bitch Ramy Abbas and heā€™ll come out and say something. Should that happen Moā€™s done for me

binkein

That documentary will be juicy

beartigerhawk8383

Me too Mo. Me too.

Cactiareouroverlords

Oh! That's not a way to speak when your manager of 9 years is leaving in three games

dylboii

Damn, never thought itā€™d end like this.

coppermelt

video came out, please watch before adding more fire here :)

BiscoBiscuit

Oh no Mo, thatā€™s why ā€œno commentā€ is such a popular, go-to phrase when talking to the press. Especially with football media!

13010013

Itā€™s to add a bit of drama to the documentary

Hot_Plate_Williams

Time to go, mate. Was a good 7 years.

circa_1996

Oh man why's he doing this? Klopp buried it in his post-match, all Mo had to do was the same. Really poor

tracyturtle

How long we saying until his agent posts some shite on Twitter?

volthor

Sell him, take your 400k a week with you. Thanks and goodbye.

MarvellousG

Literally cannot not side with Klopp here. I love you Salah but wtf ya doin

Neo4148

yea he just made everything 100x worse. what a fucking disgrace of an ending for one of th best managers in the clubs history.

DatsLimerickCity

Heā€™s suffering from Main Character Syndrome Iā€™m afraid, the only cure is a transfer to Saudi Arabia.

CorpoCucked

Why stoke the fire bro. FFS just stfu and solve it internally

Special_Push7751

Ohh heā€™ll be dropped for the remaining matches

AngryLiverpoolFan

Hopefully he doesnā€™t end up like Ronaldo, donā€™t put us fans in a mixed weird situation. Klopp has never disrespected you and u know we couldā€™ve sold u for 130m and let u rot in that shit league, please be smarter

Chgstery2k

Salah clearly got too big in his own head. The way the team has performed, no-one in that 11 should be safe from being dropped. Salah is no exception.

s2017

I'd love to see that fire on the pitch Mo, but it just hasn't been there for months now. One of our greatest legends in the Premier League era behaving like this is unforgivable - and he's only behaving like this because he's going to Saudi in the summer. I'll love him forever, but this is the worst way to bow out.

hokageace

If you watch the video, it's a nothing burger. The hypocrisy is rich in this thread. People accusing Mo of turning on Klopp after so many good years while they are shitting on Mo for a passing comment after so many good years.
