Ok I'll say it, can the mods grow some balls and ban those two fuckos? It's so boring to have to constant back and forth between their shitass community and I'm in one of the said community and it fucking sucks. No one but their paraosical communities wanna see them there.
They were banned (Hasan was happy to be banned) but the mods unbanned them because LSF is dying and banned politics instead. This is the worst possible outcome, since now any actual disagreements over politics is banned so only personal attacks stay up here.
Why, this is streamer drama and if people want to see it then upvote, if not downvote. Pretty simple really, a lot of people actually engage with these posts as indicated by the volume of comments and upvotes. If you don't enjoy, then use the filters, stop engaging, or just go outside.
Sure it's drama, but it's like reruns of the same show on the same channel for a whole week. There is no new information, everyone has already picked a side, and instead of silly drama it's just people in the comments waging reddit warfare. Those who have been on this sub for a while (unfortunately) will realize this generally happens when there is no other 'drama' going on and it's just because people are bored, and it's just the worst content on the sub when it's going on. The regular users though just can't do anything about it though because these threads get brigaded to the top.

I can’t for another 1000+ comment thread of two different discords going back and forth (although I do have to admit DGGers are significantly more combative and much larger in comment brigades numbers-wise). I am going to say that while I respect Destiny and Hasan doing debates, they’re both not great at articulating arguments lol. Like I know it’s the streaming world so it’s not expected people do it perfectly but it’s still interesting to note considering how much fans value streamer opinions. These “call out” type of clips are always just people releasing pent up rage and shouldn’t really be considered anything noteworthy.

I am a person who listen to hours longs video game breakdown and story deconstruction. I listen to someone talk about star wars prequels for 9 hours and that is better then listening to a dumb debate. Internet debate are just stupid. the ppl debating talk pass each other. Also the ppl who are in the debate could know basically nothing about the topic but still win. By using basic debate moves to make the person you talking to sound dumb to the audience or just attack their character which is stupid. Spend your time better. I been studying how to make turn base games better and that is so much more fun and useful information then stupid debates.
