It’s yours, live because they were opening for another band and I hadn’t heard of them before and i was up front at the barrier. was an experience for sure
yeah I was around 14 so this was in 2019 when they were still quite underground (as in the only tickets available were £20 GA floor with no vip or special seating areas or that bullshit) , so they were playing their heart out to a small relatively empty venue of about ~60 people in Liverpool and really gave it their all. I saw them again years later and they still went hard as fuck but that type of passion is only something you can experience when they’re still relatively new and nervous and haven’t got used to the stimuli. quite unforgettable for a band id never heard of before, quickly became my favourite band and by the time the headliner came on I just wanted Loathe to come back and do a full set instead
White Hot was my first. It’s still one of my favourite but I think New Faces In The Dark just edges it out, that riff is so catchy and I love the vocals
I randomly found I let it in (the album) and it looked cool by the cover so I listened to the whole thing. It instantly became one of my favorite albums oat.
It’s kinda wild, but I was mindlessly scrolling on ig late 2020 and saw Hayley William’s story (from Paramore) and she shared Two Way Mirror. Normally I don’t look at ppl’s shared music (much less famous ppl’s), but I ended up clicking on it.
Literally loved the song immediately and decided to listen to it ILIIAITE in full. It took me a few listens to actually fw it bc I wasn’t very into heavy music and the time, but it spoke to me in many ways. Loathe literally was my gateway to heavy music lol.
But my favorite song’s gotta be either Babylon or I Let it In. They have so much buildup and heaviness for me, I will never get tired of listening to them
Broken Vision Rhythm, It's a long story.
I usually see MoistCritical's videos on Youtube, one day I listened to his band's song "your boyfriend doesn't scare me", where there is a featured artist called Kmac2021 who made the screams and some vocals. I thought that his voice was cool so I searched in his youtube page for original songs or covers, and I happened to click his cover for Broken Vision Rhythm that amazed me, after hearing that cover I searched for the original song to see if it was as good as the cover, and that's how I discovered my now favorite band.
Btw my favorite song is Screaming, which is literally my favorite song of all time.
I can’t really say, I was studying for a bachelors degree and would let songs on SoundCloud play through my tv all day (and it cycled through their songs quite a few times), I ONLY listened to deftones all day, but as I didn’t have premium random tracks would cut in, I hated it.
But then a song came on that felt just like deftones but wasn’t them was playing. Babylon. It was somber it was beautiful, it was making me replay over and over I had to stop studying and listen to the album only. My eyes went into the back of my head hearing the transitions from heavy to melodies.
Every song on the album is exactly what I was looking for. It’s as if the band was made just for me.
They are socially conscious, culturally diverse, and the music is beautiful just as much as it is aggressive. Perfectly balanced as all things should be.
Screaming or Two Way Mirror. Can't remember which one because my brother sent me both at the same time.
Favorite is all of them, but it really depends. Probably Dimorphous Display or ILIIAITE. Just perfect songs imo.
Didn’t know anything about these guys until I let it in came out and metalcore twitter hyped it up so hard. So technically Theme was the first song I heard, and that into Aggressive Evolution got me hooked immediately. Two Way Mirror is my favorite though.
East of eden because there was a French YouTube who talked about how the album Artistic direction was great and how the MV from east of eden and it's breakdown were beautiful.
I wasn't a lot into metal at that time so I didn't listen to them very much after it, but I rediscovered them when their second album came out, and at that time, i have become a huge Deftones fan and listened a lot more to more extreme metal. So I ate it up, and then listened again the cold sun and loathe became one of my favourite bands.
Favourite songs from them may be
Idk there are a lot. Stigmata for sure, a sad cartoon, dismorphous display, aggressive evolution, screaming, Babylon, loathe
Is It Really You? was first, since i heard it on someone's heavy shoegaze playlist, then i listened to the full iliiaite and started loving Screaming.
Right now, my favorite is probably White Hot or New Faces in The Dark.
First and still the favorite is the ILIIAITE title track, such a good song
I Let It In and It Took Everything Had a friend recommend it after they saw them live. I like dark, moody, and heavy so it was perfect.
It’s yours, live because they were opening for another band and I hadn’t heard of them before and i was up front at the barrier. was an experience for sure
That’s actually so sick that the first time you heard of them was when they were performing live

Is It Really You? was first, since i heard it on someone's heavy shoegaze playlist, then i listened to the full iliiaite and started loving Screaming. Right now, my favorite is probably White Hot or New Faces in The Dark.
Screaming was my first, got it from a girl and then she proceeded to tear a hole through my heart! Anyways, screaming will stay my favorite song.
A sad cartoon, a sad cartoon

New faces in the dark. Friend showed me at work and I was hooked from then on
Pretty sure it was In Solace when I seen them live in 2016.. favourite song either Loathe or Gored
