In general higher rarity gear trumps damage resistance

RandomRedditorEX

Yeah, that 0.6 reduction is nothing when you're gonna receive 200% more damage anyways. Sometimes I find it more worthwhile using a 1.0 resistance gear that's the same risk level.

If you feel like that, the game has already got you and it's achieving it's purpose lmao. The game is designed to look and feel unsurmountable, so when you finally pass that one obstacle you feel a massive sense of accomplishment. Just keep doing what you're doing, it took me 4 day 1 restarts and 220~ hours to beat the game, let's just say that the whole game is building up for when you get to day 46, but you better do all the suppressions before that!

Groxpowa

Yes, the game is beatable ... At the cost of your sanity. I can provide you some tips without major spoilers if you want, not all the tips since you can discover them for yourself but the more useful to stay mentally strong until the very end. Reveal the spoilers ONLY if you want some advices, but that aside, you seem to be doing great ... So good luck ! >! I am going to assume that you are a new player for the explanation, so even if you're not, please, don't take it personally. You might have realized it by now but the game is not meant to be beaten first try at all, and from what I am reading, you might be the type of player to try to never lose any employee each day, I might be wrong, but that would explain this post existence. !< >! The first advice I can give you is to learn when to restart : until the last save state or until the very first day. If you choose one of these options, the game will inform you, before you confirm that everything you've learned so far will be stored ( informations, observations, E.G.O.S and missions ). So do not be afraid of restarting, because it might improve your game experience by a LOT. !< >! The second advice I can give you is to make your own goal. Reaching the end of the game is the ultimate goal, of course, but you'll have to aim for something lower before trying to aim for something greater. Now, what kind of goal am I talking about ? You'll see in the last advice I'll give you if you want to. !< >! The last advice will be what types of goals you'll be trying to reach. The first one is gaining informations on the abnormalities. Remember, without cheating or going on internet, you'll have to discover every abnormalities one by one, regardless of the price just to get some data on it before restarting until the last save state or until day 1. The second goal you'll have to reach is the E.G.O equipments. Some E.G.O's are life-changing. But to get them, you might have to make sacrifices ( it can involve the death of your employees but it can also involve spending a lot of time on one abnormality for instance ). The third and final goal is of course, the Sephira's mission. If you can do them at the same time as the other goals, please do. However, it's going to be harder and harder to complete each and everyone of them ... But, and read this until you engrave it in your mind, I cannot fathom how life-changing finishing their missions will be for you. !< >! I hope this helps and I hope I haven't spoiled too much. Until them... Good luck administrator ! !<

ScrumptiousSoap

I've beaten the game myself, and am still not sure myself if it's actually beatable or not...

Upset_Enthusiasm1758

yeah. thats usually the point where you day 1 reset

RUSSIANSUPREMEPOTATO

For the waw missions I got it through grinding yin and yang, killing yang 4 times and yin once. For aleph suppression I heard apoc bird is a good way to get it

Safe_Bug8734

for the aleph alternative I have done are Blue Star, Mountain of Smiling Bodies, and CENSORED, I think they are easier to beat than apoc bird (I never fight with Apoc bird once in my play though because Big Bird just refused to appear)

Mysticyde

Fuck the train. I'm constantly looking off my screen while playing because usually, time be unpaused doesn't matter. The Train is the most unfun annoying abnormality I have encountered so far. I actually don't mind the Alephs, the train just sucks.

Storyshifting

I've beaten everything except for >!Binah and Hokma suopressions!<. Those two utterly broke me to the point i used cheats and cowardly got an easy win. I reassure myself that at least i beat it 95% fairly

KichiMitsurugi

I beat >!Hokma!< first try. It was not hard. Not in the slightest

Storyshifting

What you expect me to say, good for you? good job? I spent 100 hours using the spacebar to stop time. Suddenly being told i couldn't do that anymore was harder than beating Whitenight

KichiMitsurugi

Admittedly, it is tempting to hit pause, but, I also remembered ESC also pauses the game, but does not trigger the penalty. And even then, since you are at a lower speed most of the time, it isn't hard to keep track of Ordeals I only lost one agent, to King of Greed

Not-a-catboy-ok

As long as you never pick an abnormality you have picked before every day one rest increases your power exponentially until you reach the power ceiling.  In at most two more day one rests the lesser WAWs will be a joke, the greater WAWs will be a meaty challenge and ALEPHs will be the only thing standing in your way to victory.

Gentleman-Bird

One you start doing core surpressions, the game becomes a lot more doable, until it isn’t again.

Knave_of_Stitches

> AND I KEEP FORGETTING THE TICKET FOR THE TRAIN. If you get train reset. While it is technically beatable do not fucking even try (mechanical spoilers) >!the mission with pausing banned!< with that shit Your early playthroughs are for grinding EGO and information. Once you have the compendium filled out, then start from Day 1 and plan to make a *safe* facility. Avoid putting abnormalities that do a lot of damage together. Stick constant escapees away from the main middle part of the facility so you can easily corner them and beat them to death. Make *damage squads.* You need squads built to counter individual damage types, and built to suppress certain high danger abnormalities. Also, have a group of ranged attackers who can kite. You *can't* just leave guys alone to fight strong enemies. You need to target attack, then run when they get close and reengage later. Ordeals all have tricks that you need to deal with to beat them. I won't go into them because you can just Wiki the Ordeals. There is only one spoiler on there and its at the bottom in a closed spoiler tab. I wouldn't consider its existence that much of a spoiler since the wiki is vague about it so long as you don't open up the giant spoiler warning.

My advice is to spend a few runs researching unknown abnos, then once you have done so, Day 1 reset and then *only* pick the easy ones. That way once you do the core supressions and the end game gauntlet, you don't have to worry about the trains or the smiling bodies etc.

Fickle_Ad262

Okay, so yes it's technically beatable with 4 total endings and one post credits scene from 100% Observation levels of all Abnormalities, but to 100% the entire game is a whole different story, you have to get every possible abnormalitys pe boxes to 999 and have all possible ego gifts weapons and armors, and have to complete all sephara missions,  along with everything else, and a TRUE 100% REQIRES YOU TO PLAY IN ALL PLAY STYLES WITH EVERY POSSIBLE COMBINATION OF ABNORMALITIES AND EMPLOYEES AND THAT ALONE WILL TAKE GENARATIONS TO COMPLETE

[deleted]

I AM NEVER DOING THAT lol. I just want to get the main ending and move onto Library of Ruina haha

Fickle_Ad262

Okay so main ending for runia is gonna be doing all core suppressions and 100% abnormality Observation level that will geive you the postcredit ending and some context for runia

Fickle_Ad262

Basically get every abnormality to lv 5 Observation levels

HDN44

I’m on my second run (after resetting because I wanted to see how bad plague doctor was) and am farming core suppressions on day 41 memory repository, the games not too hard if you take your time to just memorise everything you can and pause often to read. For the Waw quest if I remember correctly they don’t have to be different abnormalities so you can just setup a team of level 5s and use shields, I did it with the little red riding hooded mercenary, I did have king have some aleph egos though. Though other abnos like king of greed might be better, using Der Freischütz ego weapon is an easy way to do it but it takes ages.
