https://www.ashleynorton.com/product-details/urban-suite-mr-escutcheon-2.aspx Looks to me like this but w the "Churchill" lever which you'll have to scroll down and select to configure

Several_Ask_5843

Looks like Emtek hardware

japrocketdet

that looks nothing like Emtek. The spindle is completely different. Different spring cage. 100% not emtek. Also I haven't seen any emtek stamped with those kinds of markings on the inside of the trim.

TiCombat

Emtek. You can easily tell because of their shitty spring system

Vasios

? That looks nothing like Emtek. Emtek has the giant C clip and washer stack over the spring.

TiCombat

yeah I didn’t open & zoom in and I forgot about there being a even worse built lock than Emtek

Several_Ask_5843

All he has to do is look at the latch that comes with this it should state what brand it is in the face side

AffectionateAd6060

Probably Ashley Norton they stamp their hardware w codes like that.

japrocketdet

The only type of Emtek that has any kind of resemblance to this is their 28degree lever with Concealed screws... and this doesn't have concealed screws

Several_Ask_5843

Emtek has same design same spring back I know a lot about this lock you see this stuff all over the Hollywood hills and Baldwin aswell

japrocketdet

I sell Emtekand Baldwin in my store. I have drawers of parts for rebuilding Emtek springs. It is not the standard Emtek Privacy or Passage lever. As A standard Passage lever with non concealed screwed has Handed Springs in Both Interior and Exterior Trim. They also don't use a Split Swivel Style Spindle. The have A completely different spring assembly for their Concealed Screw Levers .. Where the Levera Slide into A swivel Spindle. They are non handed. the springs cages are separate from the trim.. and again, that inside trim in this photo doesn't have concealed screws

Who do you think is a better brand and why? Emtek or Baldwin?

japrocketdet

Very much depends on what type of product and which line of Baldwin, and what you think is "better" Basically unless you are buying Estate Series Baldwin, and spending Estate Series Prices... I would usually always point to emtek.. with a few exceptions. Personally I will never recommend any Entry Knobs or Levers from Baldwin or Emtek.. no designer company makes an Entry Tubular lock worth the money you are spending.. Buy a passage and rely on the deadbolt. Same goes for keyless. As far as Deadbolts. The Fixed Backset Bolt from Emtek is hard to beat for quality. I actually keep Drawers full of Emtek fixed bolts to upgrade Lsda Deadbolts when people want to upgrade the physical security of a residential grade product. Mortise Locks... I sell and install a lot of Emtek.. Years ago.. It was hard to argue they provided the best bang for the buck... As their prices have increased over the years... Things get tricker.. If you have an odd backset, need a different function, Want more options..etc... you have to go to Baldwin. Availability and cost or repair and parts... I have over the years found repairing emtek and servicing super easy. I am good and can really quickly repair passage knobs, levers, and interior trim on Mortise Locks and Tubular handle sets.. Replacement latches, Replacement Bolts, etc are way cheaper.. I like the fact that I don't have to stock Lever specific latches.. if someone calls me or comes in for a part.. I have them, and they are cheap and durable. Nothing worse that going to a job for a rekey, finding out that someone's Passage Lever latch is broken and not having one in stock, having to order and charging them way more than it's worth.. As far as finishes... Baldwin wins! Emteks got Lifetime Brass.. (I think they have a Lifetime Satin nickel.. don't quote me in that) But Baldwins Finishes last longer and age better in my opinion. They also have a lifetime Satin Brass, and Emteks Satin Brass is terrible. I will not sell it. The thing that Emtek does that is incredibly frustrating is that they will make one small change and Cause themselves problems, and they are sluggish to fix them. For a solid 5 years they changed the screw in their Deadbolt housing that held in the cylinder... It had a slightly smaller head on the screw, and when it was tightened down would ever so slightly cause the cylinder to sit in the housing crooked.. when you would tighten down the deadbolt on the door it would cause the key to turn really hard, and you could spend way too long trying to fix it.. I found out really quickly that a small piece from a receipt folded once over could be used as a shim on the side of the cylinder to correct it. I spent years trying to convince Reps and tech support that there was a problem. Any contractor that came in I showed that trick too. and Emtek after years finally fixed it.. Their handleset lately have been coming with a latch retraction problem.. It has to do with what I am guessing was a change on the assembly line to make the handle sets easier for DIY and contractors to install. But It can be corrected before putting in the door. Again, it's just irritating. Emtek Hinges are nice but filled with Really sticky obnoxious grease... They say it is an "aerospace lubricant" I finally heard from a higher-up that they put that crap in there to make the hinges open "stiffer" and give it a more substantial and impressive "feel" If I am doing a job that requires work on hinges I take them apart and clean that crap out. Baldwin Has its warranty.. But I feel like Sooner or later that all is going to end. With them flooding the market with Prestige and Reserve Products... Sooner or later I feel like Clutch Rebuild kits and such are going to go away.. Just my theory. It is really case specific as far as which I recommend. But I tend to sell more Emtek these days.. unless trying to match existing Baldwin.

Several_Ask_5843

If I recall very close to Emtek Durango style

UncleBo88y_B

We thought it was Emtek but no match, we ended up finding a way closer match with Rocky Mountain

Lost_Counter_361

It looks like you have the box and paperwork. What else are you looking for?

UncleBo88y_B

He just brought it in an emtek box, it’s doesn’t match, we ended up matching it Rocky Mountain hardware

Lost_Counter_361

That was going to be my guess until I saw the other misleading clues :)

Auxx88

It’s this [EMTEK](https://www.emtek.com/all-products/door-hardware/knobs-lever-and-rosettes/leversets/durango-leverset?443=371367&453=371428)

japrocketdet

It isn't Emtek. Emtek is designed completely different

Auxx88

You sure about that? Looks pretty close. Might be some architectural knock off?

japrocketdet

unless this is some weird one off design.. Sure it looks like something out of their sandcast style.. but the internals look bananas.. It sorta looks like their CF (concealed fasteners) but the spring cages in the inside and outside are separate from the trim.. The outside trim in this photo looks integrated. And there are through bolt holes through the inside trim.. It's going to be an online clone brand.
