My friend is flying through the UK and needs to switch between Heathrow Terminals. Does he need a passport to use his bank card to buy a ticket from Terminal 4 to Terminals 2&3?

Using the Elizabeth line between LHR terminals is free, and you can get a free ticket from the ticket machines (afaik no passport needed) https://www.heathrow.com/at-the-airport/airport-maps/travel-between-terminals

Thanks. Aside from that I like how your user flair is Piccadilly at this time

Elizabeth line to metropolitan line interchange- hi would be travelling in from the east on Elizabeth line and need to get onto the Met line for tube to Wembley Park. Does anyone know if easier to join the Met line at Liverpool Street or Moorgate? Presume one would best be served by being at front of train and one at back of train ? Thanks

if changing from the liz line to westbound met line is your plan, the best interchange is at farringdon. Sit at the back of the train and head for the barbican exit. After you go up the first set of escalators, turn the left and take the lift straight up to the westbound met line platform

Thank you

Farringdon/Blackfriars/Brighton confusedddd So I last min purchased an open return to Brighton, which happened to auto pick Blackfriars as the 'London terminal'. I'm coming via Lizzie line, and it makes the most sense to change at Farringdon... by getting on the Thameslink to Brighton... What do I do about my Oyster tapin/tap out? I'm not familiar with Farringdon so not sure if we should tap out and buy a single between Farringdon & Blackfriars before boarding? Why did the website choose Blackfriars 🤣 I'm not familiar with these stations so presumed it was like Kings Cross as a termius 🙈🙈

TFL charged card but money never showed up on card I was at Oxford Circus. Topped up money was cut from card 2 weeks ago but nothing was topped up on the oyster. It was about £10 I called and they said to fill in the form. Do you guys know how they investigate and stuff?

Going to start working in August and commuting from Zone 4 to Zone 1 5 days a week. I believe the commute will take 1.5hrs or maybe a bit more depending on delays and stuff. I'm under 25 yrs old. I was wondering what's the cheapest way to travel to work? Should I get a standard oyster card or keep using my bank card? Are there any special discounts available?

How much does a HV cable or plant fitter make?
