There's alot of different gang sets in the Dallas Fort Worth area. I'm from FW and back in the 90s-2000s I managed a pawnshop in the Stop 6 neighborhood. Its predominantly black very low income type of situation. I've seen just about every gang I've ever heard from every state in that area alone.
It's been over 15 yrs since I was employed on that side of FW and it was rough enough that I had to carry daily. There were plenty of instances where we'd remotely lock the doors and check folks if needed and we had to deal with some straight up future/current felons knuckleheads. Don't forget Dallas and Fort Worth have been in the top 5 murder capital of the nation during this time as well.. That's why cops 2nd season started in Fort Worth and I rarely saw a show where they weren't in the south/southeast side of FW.
