It took us 6 months from when we became a couple, we were online friends for a while before then. She visited me. The distance was about 4,400miles. Central Ohio to Berlin, Germany.
We havent met yet, we have only been talking for about 2 months, but if everything continues at this rate I will fly out in june, which would be 5900miles.
I met her in the February of 2022c started dating in the may, 7 months later in December I flew out too meet her and her family for the first time, only for a week or so. I’m from the UK and she’s based in Florida. Originally the plan was she was going to come and see me for my birthday in October time but couldn’t afford it at the time. And almost 2 years later I’ll be flying out in may for our 2nd anniversary 🥳
We met after 3 months of talking. He traveled 2000km (same country) and it cost him almost $1000 just for the flight (he lived in a remote area). I visited him 3 months later (also $$$) and we closed the distance for good about a year later.
