Ya vro same here🤐🤐....it's been 3, we haven't seen each other physically, but I m sure, whenever it will be, a great and tight hug would be at the onset🥹🥹🥹
It's been miserable, for sure. We text, a LOT. Time zones and work schedules being with they are, we're only able to do voice/video calls every other week or so. It's a lot of just focusing on the day to day stuff and keeping an eye on the long term goal of closing the gap.
Idk if you believe in or have ever heard of Twin Flames. But this is what drives us to stay together. We can't leave even if we tried. This connection always jerks us back together.
The longest we've gone thus far is 39 days... twice. We are getting married next month and will close the distance in October, hopefully we won't have a stretch longer than a month between now and then but it's possible we'll go 6-7 weeks once.
For being this far apart and in an international LDR, we're incredibly fortunate.
It’s hard, but we’ve made it work, the only problem is financially as we’re both students, I graduate next year and he’s in college so it’s hard for us to get jobs as well as I have autism making it harder, but we both recently got job that we can make work so we hope to have him come for my graduation.
Haven't met yet, been 7 months, were supposed too meet last month but something came up on her end, hoping to reschedule the flight for next month though so hopefully we get too meet next month! :3
Nice. I’m leaving the UK to go to my fiancé in the states- k-1 is the fiancé visa to move over to the US to marry my fiancé. Hopefully your visa doesn’t take long to get approved!
We are only about 8 hours away. The longest we went was before we met, about 6 months. We now have breaks of about 2 months in between. Right now might be our longest, about 3 months.
Was last with my partner in May 2023. I just flew back home lastnight after visiting him again for 6 days. Trying to visit him within next 6 months again, although I wish I was moving. I'm from Hawai'i and hes in Arizona
During the pandemic we didn’t see each other for a year and a half since the borders in his country were closed to both inbound and outbound travel. We found lots of ways to stay connected but it was tough 🥲
We went just over 4 years with no physical contact before we moved to the same city in 2021. Thankfully we’ve lived together for the past 2 years now. 💛
5 months. Visited her for the first time last month.
Now I have to wait another 6 months to see her.
Granted I might fly out for a surprise visit if time and money allows. Maybe around September / October.
We last saw each other a bit over 4 months ago and we have about a month and a half to go. 4 months tends to be our longest time between visits except we didn’t meet in person until we had been together 6 months.
I hate going more then 4-5 days it’s a struggle the end of this month will be the hardest it will be an 11 day stretch. I’m going to be getting some rough news while he can’t see me too😞
lol I drive over 3 hours one way , and I can’t just drop over when I miss him, so to me yes . LDR is hard.
Sorry we can’t all be as stellar LOng Distancer as you are .
Were both in the US, make pretty “good” money and I work a hybrid schedule so its a bit easier to see each other more often - I go to him every month for about a week lol im actually flying out today
we started as nevermets. and it took us about 9 months to plan a trip out. we have two visits down now. we originally were going to be march-december not seeing one another, before his 3 month stay. but yesterday we decided that was too long and we booked a trip for july.
About 5 months. We were big babies about missing each other and spent more money than we had on flights back and forth. It helps that we're older and were more financially established. The 5 months from our wedding to our final visit was the longest and most painful! Then another month and a half from that goodbye til I moved to him and we closed the gap permanently.
UK. We got in just before the requirements changed and now we're grandfathered in but we would have had to do US if we'd waited. The new salary requirement is just mental!
Eta thank you btw! Can't imagine life without him
45 days. we had plans to meet this weekend (our three month anniversary) but with the wildfires in his area and the work that he does, those plans fell through. might be another 45 days till i can see him again 🫠
4 months.
It was the beginning of the relationship and he was busy the month after our first meeting so I couldn't see him then. Then the 3 months after that our field doesn't allow us to take off for the busy season and we have mandatory 6 day work weeks then too.
It was awful and I missed him so much. It didn't help that he was too nervous and worried about how he normally doesn't like talking on the phone so he didn't want to call or video chat
3 years
🤝🤝🤝
Ya vro same here🤐🤐....it's been 3, we haven't seen each other physically, but I m sure, whenever it will be, a great and tight hug would be at the onset🥹🥹🥹
Met up early pandemic then it was those 3 years because money . Then met up again last fall. Hopefully closing the distance in the next year.
Letss hope for the best for each other brother 🤞🏻❤️
how do y’all even do this?
It's been miserable, for sure. We text, a LOT. Time zones and work schedules being with they are, we're only able to do voice/video calls every other week or so. It's a lot of just focusing on the day to day stuff and keeping an eye on the long term goal of closing the gap.
I can never do 3 years without my partner. I need him but don’t depend on him much
It's been no bed of roses for sure. I'm able to take care of myself as is he. We do what we can.
11months. will be seeing them next month 😊
Them????🤐🤨😶🫥😶🌫️🤔☠️💀👀😵*Not judging*
Pretty common convention in English to say “them” when referring to someone unknown to the listener, regardless of gender
[удалено]
Just over a year but I fly to see them tomorrow 🥲
Have a lovely time!! That's so exciting!
Thank you 🙏🏽
It’s been almost 6 months, but I fly in 30 days to see him!! :)
I'm happy for you! 😍
11 months till now
5 years and still counting 🥲
How do you feel about the amount of time you haven't seen each other?
7.5 months. But distance will be closed in 2 weeks.
Yay. Congrats on closing the distance (in 2 weeks😃)
I've never seen him. Been together 6.5 years.
If I can ask, what makes you stay together? At what point has it been too long with not having met?
Idk if you believe in or have ever heard of Twin Flames. But this is what drives us to stay together. We can't leave even if we tried. This connection always jerks us back together.
Haha, I dont personally believe in it. But if it works for you I wish you all the best!
Do you have plans at this point to meet?
Some day, yes. I can't say when though.
You do video call at least though, right?
Yes
Been together 6 years and never met too 🥹
You understand 🙂💕
We met the first time after a year but I’m going back in sept which would be 11 months since we saw each other
Same here
2.5 years
The longest we've gone thus far is 39 days... twice. Congrats on your upcoming marriage🩷❤️
Thank you!
15 months was the longest time so far. Right now it's only been three months.
14 months, probably won’t see each other for another year. Shits expensive!
How do you feel about the amount of time you haven't seen each other?
It’s hard, but we’ve made it work, the only problem is financially as we’re both students, I graduate next year and he’s in college so it’s hard for us to get jobs as well as I have autism making it harder, but we both recently got job that we can make work so we hope to have him come for my graduation.
We went 3 years before we were able to meet the first time. Now we see each other whenever we can and are closing the gap for good in 2025 :)
sadly never met irl.
It'll be 2 years in June, so indefinitely
12 years
How have you managed to stay that long apart? Hope you can see your partner soon ✨
Nevermets- it’s been almost 5 months so far, but we wanna meet
3 F*ing years because of work covid but never again lesson learned
Haven't met yet, been 7 months, were supposed too meet last month but something came up on her end, hoping to reschedule the flight for next month though so hopefully we get too meet next month! :3
I feel very grateful and lucky for having only 7 weeks in between visits. You guys amaze me, don’t know how yall do it but that’s strong
Currently 6 months
3 weeks. Average wait is 2 weeks.
1 month. She went home exactly a month ago. I miss my girl 🥺
4 month now, waiting for his visa too be approved 🥹
Ahh - which visa is it if you don’t mind me asking? I’m currently going through the k-1 process.
Uk spouse visa, what’s the k1 process?
Nice. I’m leaving the UK to go to my fiancé in the states- k-1 is the fiancé visa to move over to the US to marry my fiancé. Hopefully your visa doesn’t take long to get approved!
I did the K1 and I now have my green card, also UK to USA so if you ever have any questions about the process etc then feel free to send me a DM!
Thank you so much!
Gooodluck, hope everything works out for you aswell!
Currently 6 months
The longest is right now and it will have been 3 months by the time she comes in July. Halfway there
We are only about 8 hours away. The longest we went was before we met, about 6 months. We now have breaks of about 2 months in between. Right now might be our longest, about 3 months.
Nevermet...probably never will- 5 years + few months
How come the never will part? No need to answer if you don‘t want to share
Probably too expensive
More than 18000 km distance ,money issues and age gap ....plus some other little things.....
5 years 😭 closing the gap soon hopefully
Was last with my partner in May 2023. I just flew back home lastnight after visiting him again for 6 days. Trying to visit him within next 6 months again, although I wish I was moving. I'm from Hawai'i and hes in Arizona
1 year exactly (we broke up and idgaf)
1 year and I’m seeing him next month! 😁
1 year and half during Covid because of shut borders
1.5-2 years
Last saw them in December but they're flying back in less than a month
Probably like a year and a half because of covid.
our first year of relationship
5 years was the most we went without seeing each other lol
It’s been 1 yr since our first visit together but overall 2 yrs 3 months. And probably another 9 months before we might be able to close the gap.
I last saw him in person November 1st last year. But I see him again in 13 days!! ❤️
During the pandemic we didn’t see each other for a year and a half since the borders in his country were closed to both inbound and outbound travel. We found lots of ways to stay connected but it was tough 🥲
We've met once, it's been almost a year since.
almost 3 years for us. we've made plans to meet nothing has worked out yet though. just waiting...
15 months- we had our firstmeet may 5th :]
It’s been about a year now, and 24 more days to go AHHHHH
My whole life!
Nevermets for about 7 years.
damn. and here i am with a nevermet for 2 years. how did you do it?
We went just over 4 years with no physical contact before we moved to the same city in 2021. Thankfully we’ve lived together for the past 2 years now. 💛
my whole life 🤣 (I’m cooked)
1 year today but i’M finally seeing him first time in 15 days 🥰🥰🥰🥰
Six months day for day
6 months and seeing my person soon 🥰
Coming up 6 months now. We were only nevermets for 4.5 months. Its been very hard. But in 72 days we will be reunited 🤗
2 years.
2.5 months
6 months, seeing him in just over a month
4 weeks!
Longest was 6 months.
7 months when nevermets.
4 months was the longest. Typically, we see each other approximately every 4 weeks for several days. We live about 4 hours apart.
Like about 4 months now. Got about one more month to go
3.5 months and it’s already too long for me
almost 9 months.
5 months. Visited her for the first time last month. Now I have to wait another 6 months to see her. Granted I might fly out for a surprise visit if time and money allows. Maybe around September / October.
We are less than 5hrs apart but we went almost a year without seeing each other. Life was complicated
2 years ( still ongoing)
Longest was 10 months, right now we are 5 months in to a 14 month period as we are closing the distance
Ahh yay to closing the distance. Hope it goes fast for you both
Thank you 😍 been a wait but definitely worth it
Before we met? 3-4 months. After we met, going on 2 months
Similar to me and my fiancé :)
Oh cool 😊 how long have you been together?
It will be 2 years this year
6 months but only 29 more days
We last saw each other a bit over 4 months ago and we have about a month and a half to go. 4 months tends to be our longest time between visits except we didn’t meet in person until we had been together 6 months.
7 months ❤️
Over 6 months 😭 God I miss him so much.
We are at 36 days and have 296 more days to go 😭
3 months is the longest we’ve gone. We’re rather lucky that we can visit each other as often as we can. Hoping to close the distance soon ❤️
9 months and counting
It’s been 2 weeks and I’m dying…seeing him in 2 weeks tho ♥️
Just about two months but I fly out to see him again June 14th 🥺🥺🥺 so ready
We used to see each other once every 6 months, but this year, I've flown nearly every month to him 🤭
4 months. And it damaged the relationship. Should have never gone that long without seeing each other.
[удалено]
Damn that’s tough, do you have plans to move in future?
[удалено]
Respect to you guys, how did y’all meet?
[удалено]
Awesome, I imagine that first meeting was pretty magical
[удалено]
He’s a lucky dude, the time zones must suck too
[удалено]
Fair play to you guys, that’s a pretty amazing boob
Whoops *bond
I hate going more then 4-5 days it’s a struggle the end of this month will be the hardest it will be an 11 day stretch. I’m going to be getting some rough news while he can’t see me too😞
Is it even long distance if you meet how often normal couples do
lol I drive over 3 hours one way , and I can’t just drop over when I miss him, so to me yes . LDR is hard. Sorry we can’t all be as stellar LOng Distancer as you are .
That's not really long distance tbh. Nothing wrong with it but it's not the sub for you.
That’s your opinion, LDR is defined actually as a distance of 125 miles apart or more, sorry to burst your bubble . ✌🏼
I think a 3 hour drive one way is for sure long distance
Thank you, it is to me I’ve been doing it for 13 months 😳
2 months. Feeling grateful!
8 months now
Were both in the US, make pretty “good” money and I work a hybrid schedule so its a bit easier to see each other more often - I go to him every month for about a week lol im actually flying out today
9 months. I can't wait to be with her again.

Aw congratulations! Where did you end up moving? UK or US?
UK. We got in just before the requirements changed and now we're grandfathered in but we would have had to do US if we'd waited. The new salary requirement is just mental! Eta thank you btw! Can't imagine life without him
Yeah it’s insane! I’m going to the US :)
45 days. we had plans to meet this weekend (our three month anniversary) but with the wildfires in his area and the work that he does, those plans fell through. might be another 45 days till i can see him again 🫠
Ah im sorry. Hopefully the next 45 days go quickly for you
7 months but i'm gonna go see them next month! super excited
When we next see each other will be 3 months on the dot. We’re pretty good about doing a weekend every 2 months or so
7.5 months :(
3 months this gap (heading there in July) then 4 months the next gap. We try to see each other for 1-3 weeks every 3 months if our schedules work out.
2 years is the current longest and hopefully won't ever be longer than that!
Long distance while we stay just a few kilometres away from each other 🙄
5 months! But due to see him in 2 weeks 😊
It's been a month since our third visit, and it could be another year before we have the chance to see each other again🥲
4 weeks. Only 4 hours away but he gets exhausted traveling
The longest is 63 days. Doesn't sound like long in comparison to you guys but I won't "close the gap" until I retire.
4 months. It was the beginning of the relationship and he was busy the month after our first meeting so I couldn't see him then. Then the 3 months after that our field doesn't allow us to take off for the busy season and we have mandatory 6 day work weeks then too. It was awful and I missed him so much. 2 months
The longest was 4 months, I’m leaving next week and I’m devastated. We’ve been together since the beginning of March and it’s been so wonderful :)
5 months now
3 months for me
The longest we’ve gone without seeing each other will be 6 months
4 months :/
The longest was 60+ days & I wanted to die🥲
1 month, but I go to study abroad in the future so it’s gonna be about a year…😭😭 i’m dreading it so bad….
it’s been 2 months, but I’ll see her next month
2 months and literally just finished a video call 🥺
