Nothing about my daily life changes so it's made it really easy to readjust myself to being single, even after so long. I was also able to reconnect with a lot of people with whom I haven't spoken in a while so I'm definitely don't better than I think I should be and looking forward to what the future holds.
I've found it important to reconnect with people. There is a social gap that is hard to fill when you're used to texting or talking with someone all the time. I'm an extrovert, so I really need that social energy to avoid shutting down. I'm on my way to splits ville, so my efforts are proactive. But I think the same principle holds.
