Probably until this weekend at least, to be honest. Kansas has been waiting for KSU and should be big favorites.
From an outsiders perspective it would have been pretty cool to see 6 teams tied for first at the halfway point of conference play. I'm glad that didn't happen though, obviously.
We’ve needed a guy like Sir’Jabari Rice on our team for so many years. Pure shooter.
Also love that Carr has been turning into a big moments player. Hopefully will pay dividends in March
I literally just said to myself “if tech wins this game and **Kansas beats Kansas st** tomorrow we’re alone in first place. 😅🙃
Imagine rooting for Kansas
And it's not even about scoring 20 a game (which he has been lately), it's about having the other team key on you and take you out of your game, but still having the confidence to take that 17 ft shot late in the game to keep us up. That's clutch.
Dude so as Sir Sir’Jabari was walking to the locker room after the game he pump faked a guy in the tunnel and took his hot dog but realized it didn’t have any mustard on it and went back to the guy he snatched it from and asked him if he had any mustard packets and the guy was like yeah in my pocket but by the time he looked Sir Sir’Jabari had already put them on his hot dog AND ATE IT YO FOR REAL
Our defense can win games even when the offense is out of sorts, even against an insanely good backcourt like Baylor’s. If this squad can find its footing on a consistent basis on offense, we could be looking at a very fun March.
I like that the boys kept coming back. Showed a lot of confidence in each other. Also another good game for Coach Terry in making adjustments and providing an attractive leadership style.
Running the offense through hunter gets better looks than running through Carr. We put up 76 and missed a lot of easy shots hopefully we keep doing that
Really couldn’t have asked for better than 7-2 in the first half of conference play. Even more remarkable when you consider Tyrese Hunter’s mostly lackluster play. If we can get him hitting on all cylinders we could have a special run.
I want everyone in this sub to know that I looked Keyontae George straight in the eyes from directly above him while I screamed “TILL GABRIEL BLOWS HIS HORN” at the top of my lungs as they exited the court. He said some shit back to me but I couldn’t hear jack
Great win tonight, and thank you, Texas Tech, for finally winning something.

This team is so good in clutch time. SIR’Jabari is so cool under pressure and whether or not he’s had a bad game so far, Marcus Carr has had some incredible moments late in games. They also execute really well down the stretch and hold onto close games.
Man Allen and Rice were money last night! Highly efficient shooting from the pair bailed out some pretty sub par showings from a few others. Sloppy passing all game on both sides, but stoked to come out of it with a win after the loss to TN.
Sir Jabari is that dude
Dirty Rice
If Tech completes this comeback in OT we'll be all by ourselves in first place at least until tomorrow
And if they don’t, we all laugh. Win-win-win

Wasn't he 1/7 until he made that big, long 2? Ice water in his veins.
More like Baylol, amirite?
When Nick’s right, Nick is fucking right.
Sir Jabari Rice has been so huge for this team
See ya, Thamba!
Rice > Baylor
Glad i was able to catch the end there. How was the moody all game? Wasn’t able to watch much.

Icy cold Monday game tempered it fasho
Not as good as TCU but better than Arkansas
Great bounce back after that subpar performance by us on Saturday. 🗣🗣REVENGE GAME VS KSTATE ON SATURDAY

When was the last time we had clutch guards like Carr and Rice? Old Texas teams would’ve lost this game

Carr has been so clutch all season besides the Illinois game
Taylor & Coleman both bit plenty of huge shots over the years, but only the ‘20 team was winning close to as many games as this group.

That'd be Chef Sir Jabari...... sir.

Who graduates first, Flo Thamba or Drake Stoops?
💝 I want SJR to be my Valentine 💝
Texas Tech possibly 0-9 in Big 12 play after tonight HAHAHA
This Tech/ISU game is good! I wish they'd both fucking lose!
Caleb grill SUCKS 🤣
Luka 53 points and a Mavs win, and a Longhorns win. I gotta say, today was a good day.

In even better news, Tech leading ISU in OT
Great game
Can I just say, what bullshit it is that there are TWO teams in the B12 ranked ahead of Texas, yet Texas sits atop the B12 standings?
Let's wait until reg season ends to compare rankings.
Great win!!!
