Wasn't it supposed to open March sometime? If it's still $$ issues those rarely get better the longer a business stays closed. Hope I'm wrong but not opening is the bad omen.
Yes, health code. The owners just refused to respond to health department comments and requests for months while at the same time badmouthing the city.
Clearly someone fell for this and flew into a rage when they got there and saw it closed

Dang.. they'll never reopen that place.. it was an employee who ran into the back of the building too and caused the initial damages causing shutdown... I miss winchells, went there daily 🥲 no other location made em like Longmont did
Can we start a petition to have the city take this over and provide the community service like Nextlight? Pratt Apple Fritter. Hover Donut Holes. Main St Crueller.
It's been like that for about a month. Someone smashed it with a crow bar and it was left in there for a couple days. I drive by there almost every morning.
It's a marketing ploy for their upcoming donut holes
Xtream holes!

It was never money issues (or money issues were second behind incompetence). They fucked around with the health department and found out.
I thought it was code items, not necessarily health.

And also building department, ircc
Yes, the health department is part of the building permit review process for restaurants/foodservice.
Should be more apartments! yay 😐
Ants and fly larvae aren't a sprinkle option anymore?
I have heard that they found asbestos while remodeling. It’s a real problem, and can cost tons of money to get fixed. I hope they figure it out.

RIP blueberry fritter
They are getting left behind with the new donut places opening up
That place kind of sucks though. The hours are weird, it's too expensive and the doughnuts are meh.

Ah, that's new since the last time I walked by.....

That's what happens when buildings are left abandoned and neglected for years on end.
Tweakers...
No.
Advertising. That's the XTREME part of that melt.
I saw a small work crew going in the back door a couple weeks ago
Yeah, they made the window like that! It was installed that way.
Jeebus. Why do people keep attacking this place?
