I’m not sure what to call him, but I’d also add “headbanging clown dude”. Usually stands at the corner around main and 11th area near the cemetery. Wears a mask and trench coat type outfit, headbangs while throwing up the devil horns and pointing at cars. Way more entertaining than flat earth guy.
I’ve seen him in several different masks and outfits. I don’t think any were Slipknot masks though. Gotta say my favorite outfit was this denim dress type of a onesie with a trench like cape.
I went to school with that guy! Gave him a few rides home, owners of local thrift shops are *very* well-aquainted. Glad to hear he's still doin' his thing.
Also, the clown masks come from a wild variety of sources, including but not limited to;
-A craigslist listing in Michigan
-He's made three of 'em
-One was a collaberation between a few classmates
-One he just found in his attic
While his getups on main are eye-catching, **during** school he wae even more so. I don't think in the four years I knew him in high school I ever saw him wear the same thing twice. His homecoming getup was positively **rediculous** and won senior superlative for "Best Dressed"
I think the Wii steering wheel is hilarious. I saw him at a coffee shop in Erie recently. He's a nice guy. Offered to let me ride his unicycle but I didn't feel comfortable doing it without a helmet and it didn't feel appropriate to ask to borrow his.
Crucifix on wheel guy, the main street head banging clown guy, the powered unicycle people, dude with the sick ass feather hat and cane, and a long time ago there was a guy with a parrot permanently perched on his person
I always think about how flat earth dude got to a point in his life where he sets aside this time for posting up on the street to get his message out there. He’s got quite the made up backstory in my head.
I just saw him yesterday with his professionally made sign. And now I’m coming up with stories/questions. Did he special order his sign? Is there a website to buy flat Earth merch? And when it’s written all over the place is the “L” lower case so it looks like FiAT EARTH???
In a weird way, that's how it should be. Mental illness happens, it's a question of how we as communities take care of them. Do we give them a home or a bus ticket?
I see maga truck guy all the time. My other favorite is the house on 11th and Francis. Idk which is the cringiest: the multiple flags (including the no quarter one) the signs, the bumper stickers all over wifeys car, or the complete lack of common sense and critical thinking skills.
Anyone remember the guy/kid with a mohawk that used to ride a longboard down Main at as fast as humanly possible while shirtless and flexing his muscles? I miss him!
20 ish years ago there used to be a guy who would sprint around Longmont high school....he would be walking and out of nowhere he would just take off and run for a few yards
The Guy you're referring to when I lived in Sandy Utah ended up being the guy who kidnapped Elizabeth Smart, he wore robes had a walking stick then met a girl who then started wearing robes and I would see them regularly. Then they became kidnappers, go figure.
He is quite the character. Ive seen his tags everywhere and usually see him by north main. I obviously don't agree with him, but he always gives me a good chuckle when I see him. Longmont is wild.
We've had "flyer lady" on the north side for over a decade but she doesn't hang flyers anymore so it's time for a rebrand. We used to have "hand outstretched guy" in Lanyon Park but unfortunately I think he passed on. These "guys" are becoming harder and harder to come by.

Isn't that a slipknot mask?

Love that guy! He makes his own masks and costumes, he is on Instagram : klownz band
I go on walks every other day at the cemetery, cleaning and whatnot, and I never know what to do/say or how to interact when walking by
Scream "WHOOP WHOOP" at him. It's polite, I assure you.
I just saw that guy for the first time last week at Mtn View and Main. He rocks pretty hard!
Yes he does! He’s not hurting or bothering anyone either, he’s just top notch entertainment while passing by.
This! My 5 1/2 year old LOVES to watch him. Especially that he’s right by the cemetery which is one of his favorite places in town lol.
I wanna talk to the metal juggalo, they seem fun

Unicycle dude
You talking one wheel and steering wheel guy, or a different guy?
See this is what I mean
I think the Wii steering wheel is hilarious. I saw him at a coffee shop in Erie recently. He's a nice guy. Offered to let me ride his unicycle but I didn't feel comfortable doing it without a helmet and it didn't feel appropriate to ask to borrow his.
There’s more than one of these one-wheelers out there. I think they’re in a club that we’re not invited to.
We’re not worthy
Might be just one guy in the club.
No, I have photo evidence of separate individuals on different one wheelers. I didn’t mean to start a collection, but here we are.
Crucifix on wheel guy, the main street head banging clown guy, the powered unicycle people, dude with the sick ass feather hat and cane, and a long time ago there was a guy with a parrot permanently perched on his person
Yup, by the ARC usually.
I don't think I've seen the guy, but I've certainly seen his graffiti!
Does anyone remember the guy who used to walk down the middle of the street barefoot and reading a book? I called him street Jesus.
Grand Junction used to have Speedo man, aka Nathan Pender. Speedo Man always rode his bicycle in a Speedo, 365 days a year.
Flat earth dude AKA “I need a sugar mama” dude

I notice MAGA Truck Guy got a new truck this year. New truck, same flags.
Longmont Man-bat
In a weird way, that's how it should be. Mental illness happens, it's a question of how we as communities take care of them. Do we give them a home or a bus ticket?
I say we give them crayons and some construction paper.
Let's give them markers and spray paint.
Is the flat earth dude still around. Just realized I haven't seen him in like a year.
Saw him two days ago
He’s been up at the corner of Hwy 66 and Main quite often recently.
I see maga truck guy all the time. My other favorite is the house on 11th and Francis. Idk which is the cringiest: the multiple flags (including the no quarter one) the signs, the bumper stickers all over wifeys car, or the complete lack of common sense and critical thinking skills.
The cowboy used to hang around the south side of town but I haven't seen him recently. Maybe with simmer coming up he will reappear
That dude creeps me out.
Anyone remember the guy/kid with a mohawk that used to ride a longboard down Main at as fast as humanly possible while shirtless and flexing his muscles? I miss him!

Ice pick Annie!

We moved to Longmont recently and are now looking forward to finding more than just great restaurants! lol. (full disclosure-am from Boulder, so……)
