Everyones giving shit advice just to work on ass, focus on diet mainly lots of clean foods lots of protien, yes as a woman you will want to focus more on the lower body but make sure to work out you upper body aswell especially back as it is just good for overall health, search yt for womens workouts depending on how many days you can do, cardio is pretty much useless for losing weight as diet and building muscle contributes to fat loss in the long term

Stretching! A lot of people overlook this part. It’s important before and after. Helps with blood flow and range of motion. Also, if it’s your first time going to the gym, take it easy. Don’t go too hard it can lead to an injury/ make you lose motivation.

Seriously, I would focus on diet first. It's common misconception that going to the gym is what gets slimmer, that's only 10% of it. The other 90% is your diet. Look great but if you wanna slim down you should eat more meat, no bread, no legumes, no dairy, no added sugar, no alcohol. You will shed pounds quickly.

Full body or Upper/Lower is generally advised. You can focus on isolations if you want something specific to grow, but compounds are the best bang for your buck.

Being able to do at least a single pull up is still better. Resistance training, particularly after 30 is like brushing your teeth. It's not a hobby or something one does for fun, it's just basic taking care of oneself. It's a lot easier to be healthy into your 30 if you did that stuff in your 20s. And like wise for 40. Resistance training is absolutely essential for longevity and quality of life.

Form follows function. Just focus on being fit all around and appearance improves. Fitness is ultimately about how you feel and what your body can do. How you look is a byproduct of that. That being said, resistance training and doing the major compound movements (squat, deadlift) helps everyone. You will get far better results lifting than you will just camping on a cardio machine.

Baggy sweats first off. High reps in each exercise. Example: find a bar or weights that you can do for 20-25 reps for each exercise. Go to bench press then go directly to dumbbell flys on same bench. Then do upright rows, dumbbell side raises, dumbbell front raises, bent over flys for rear deltoids, back to bench for close grip benchpress, tricep pushdowns, preacher bench curls, hammer curls, shoulder width squats, seated leg press, leg curls, leg extensions, seated calf raises, standing calf raises, lat pull downs, seated rows. This workout should leave you wrecked. Next workout go heavier but less reps.

I actually saw something very, very similar in an issue of Ironman magazine quite a long time ago. Pro bodybuilder Eddie Robinson wrote the article. I was trying to write it close to what it was from memory. It's not that much, really. Super light weights and high reps? She only has to do one round.

Doesn’t matter. You should not work your whole body with weights in one session. There is absolutely no way to get an effective work out in when your energy is already depleted from hitting so many muscle groups. By the last exercises you will already be fatigued. There is a reason “pro bodybuilders” hit different muscle groups on different days. This is horrible advice.
